Zenit Valencia
Zenit Valencia

Zenit Valencia boasts a fantastic central location opposite Valencia’s Estación del Norte and the city’s bullring. It offers free Wi-Fi and has a fitness centre, sauna and car park.

All rooms at the Zenit are stylishly furnished, with a private bathroom complete with hairdryer. Each room also contains a work desk, safety deposit box and plasma TV with satellite channels.

The hotel serves a buffet breakfast every morning at the restaurant El Azahar. There is also Bar Zenit, where you can buy aperitifs, cocktails, wine and liqueurs. The property also offers room service.

It’s location is its biggest selling feature though, right next to Valencia Nord station and within easy walking distance of all of the bars, restaurants, shops and attractions of the old town.

The location is excellent right by the train station and Metro stop which made travel to and from the airport very easy. Also great for walking around the old town and further afield.

The room was a good size with plenty of storage space and nice and quiet at night . The bathroom was very user friendly , once again with good storage space . I liked the over bath shower and the lighting for putting on makeup and plug for hair straighteners !

Hotel is only a few yards walk from Metro station Xativa which is 11 stops and about 25 mins from the airport. It is just on the boundary of the old town and although its opposite a main train station and just off a busy road we never had any noise issues at all.

Very clean hotel, free safe and fridge in room, nice bathroom and for us the beds were the most comfortable we have stayed in for a while.Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend

As said in previous reviews the hotel is in an excellent location being a stone’s throw from the railway station and metro station!! A wide variety of restaurants are available nearby and many of the sights are within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is very comfortable and all staff we met were very helpful and friendly!! Breakfast is more than adequate and should satisfy most people. Although our first floor room overlooked the railway station we were surprised how quiet it was.

he hotel has a perfect location, next to the northern train station and at walking distance to old city center and the Ruzafa area with many restaurants and shops. The rooms are nice, had a good size and there is no noise from outside. There were 2 big beds, 2 chairs and a good working air-conditioning. The bathroom was spacious with all amenities you need and a good shower. Wifi was accessible without a password and had good speed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Perfect location – walking distance to everything, easy to the metro and nice cafe bars close by. We did have a central facing room so it was a bit dark when getting ready but we were aware of this when we booked. Room was a good size, super comfy bed and amazing rain shower.

Guests can enjoy drinks, snacks and traditional tapas at Cathedral Suites’ bar. Room service is also available.

Selected the hotel because of the location primarily and was very pleased with our choice.

The welcome by the receptionist was perfect and we were made to feel at home at once.

The room was amazingly quiet given the central location of the hotel and well equipped and comfortable.

The location was perfect, in the old town, a few feet from the Sq and Valencia Cathedral. So many gays bars and restaurants on your doorstep, we were spoilt for choice.

A gorgeous, massive bed, really comfortable with great pillows, a TV, sofa, kitchenette, gorgeous wet room. Balcony. Next floor up, bar and roof terrace with a plunge pool. Real sun trap.
Beautiful breakfasts and really lovely, friendly staff in the bar and reception.

Firstly i will say how impressed i was the the quality of the room, service and location. Staff were always happy to help reception in particular, the bar should be seen at night and although we didn’t use the dip pool it looked cool. The room was compact with a massive bed and handy well stocked kitchen area with cool coffee pod machine. The bathroom with lovely spray head was amazing.

We loved the room, it was a really good size with a kitchen area and little table / little sofa. The bed was amazing and comfy and the bathroom was modern and clean. The hotel had a lovely terrace on the roof for drinks and where we had a lovely breakfast in the sunshine both mornings. There was also a great little area for sunbathing with a small pool and some sun loungers.

The hotel has a really nice small boutique style and is in a perfect location. I can’t recommend it enough. Thanks for a great stay.

Accommodation close to Mercado de Colón (market), La Catedral (cathedral), La Lonja (fishmarket), the area of Carmen or AVE’s (highspeed) trainstation. Very close to the museums and the best place to see the Mascletá (firecrackers). A highlight in the heart of Valencia for being one of the most recommended hotels by Tripadvisor users, Booking and other web portals. Touristic walking tours starting at Ayuntamiento. Besides free high speed WIFI in all the rooms, you can count on our mobile pack (selfie stick + portable WIFI + extra battery) or Baby pack (stroller Mini, baby backpack, mini cradle and portable bathtub).

The room was quirky and nicely decorated, with a big couch, decent sized bathroom and comfortable bed. It is easily located and close to the train station with an excellent view of the surrounding buildings all lit up at night.

Very welcoming staff in a centrally located hotel with comfortable room and balcony overlooking the square and a good breakfast. Easy access to/from airport with a 20 minute metro ride to Xatvia and couple of minutes walk. Lots of magnificent buildings close by e.g. the cathedral and central market are a 5/6 minute walk away and the Palacio del Marques de Dos Aguas just round the corner. The beach and Mestalla stadium are only a short metro ride costing 2 euros.

Very easy to find from the airport. 500 yds from Nord train station. 20 mins by taxi from airport. Central location means easy access to all of old town and rest of city. Main attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is quirky as each room has a different theme! Each room is also a different shape!

We were expecting a much less elegant room, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very convenient being just a few minutes walk from the train and metro stations. it was also an easy walk to most of the sites in the old part of the city.

Our room was actually two rooms, a large window filled lounge and a separate spacious bedroom. It had a picture perfect view of the boulevard outside the hotel. It was quite a sight at night. There was also a large balcony, as far as I could tell, the only room that had one. The room was clean and bright.
The breakfast was generally very good, my only complaint was that there were several black hairs mixed in with the lemon slices that were a condiment for the tea service. Kind of gross, but i suppose this can happen at even at the best of hotels. The staff was young and friendly.

4. Caro Hotel Valencia 4* – Gay Friendly Hotels Valencia

Gay Friendly Hotels Valencia
Gay Friendly Hotels Valencia

The unique Caro Hotel is housed in a 19th-century palace in central Valencia, just 200 m from Valencia Cathedral. Combining historical features with modern design, it has an outdoor pool open all year round.

Designed by Francesc Rifé, each of the elegant rooms in the Caro is totally individual, with exquisite touches of minimalist design. All have a flat-screen satellite TV, air-conditioning and a free minibar. The bathrooms include Bvlgari toiletries, a bathrobe and slippers.

Run by chef Miguel Angel Mayor, the hotel’s restaurant Sucede, has a Michelin star. There is also a bar with a quiet terrace, where you can enjoy a drink in the sun. Gluten-free menus are also available on prior request.

Caro Hotel is a five-star monument hotel located in the heart of the city of Valencia. An urban and commercially independent hotel, its 26 rooms, all unique in themselves, and gastronomic restaurant are fine examples of the singular and highly respectful integration of its contemporary interior design, characterised by clean, geometric lines, designed by Francesc Rifé, with the original historical, architectonic features of the building.

Below the eclectic appearance of a nineteenth-century palace, the hotel walls stand guard over a legacy of more than 2,000 years of history, which includes an original mosaic belonging to the founding of Valencia in the Roman era (2nd century BC.), the thirteenth-century Arabic defensive wall, several gothic arches and nineteenth-century constructions which, together with its warm, friendly, client-focused service, make this establishment a high quality must for all travellers who wish to enjoy a memorable hotel experience from a different perspective.

This hotel spans the millenia, the oldest parts, inside the hotel, date back to the Roman occupation, then there are parts in a Moorish style and then into the later Spanish style. Everything about the hotel exudes quality and luxury with a modern twist. For me Caro is a place to chill, not a place to bring young children and a place to take in the atmosphere. There is a Michelin starred restaurant that we had intended to try, however, the style is quirky, a little too quirky for us. There were two menus, one had around 95 plates, the other upwards of 115; we were advised that we should allow at least two and a half hours for the meal. The style of the menu had been created to reflect the ‘ages’ of the building, so the first part would reflect Roman cuisine, the second part would reflect the Moorish cuisine and lastly the Spanish cuisine.

Breakfast was taken in parts of the restaurant and the selection of foods was absolutely splendid with both hot and cold options served to ones individual taste. Our bedroom was quite large and spacious, all of the furniture was artistically chosen and placed, the bed was large and extremely comfortable (there was a good pillow menu too). There is a bar with an outside seating area, not large but ample and perfect for a drink under the stars. The plunge pool is outside, within the seating area, again very quirky, with glass sides it is maybe a meter wide, maybe a meter deep and say four/five meters long. Certainly not Olympic sized but a good talking point.

The hotel its-self is perfectly situated in the heart of the old town near to the Cathedrals and squares, in a quiet street and close to the old river-bed which is now a promenade and sporting area. Finally, there is a Hop-on-hop-off bus route nearby and that will take would-be sight-seers to all of the most popular destinations in the city.

Fabulous Hotel! Highly recommended! If you are looking for a hotel in Valencia, please don’t hesitate to book the Caro Hotel. Loved the luxurious touches that the hotel provided, they have got it completely right! Firstly, the Bulgari amenities and mini hairbrush are a lovely touch! Designer toiletries are always a must for a 5* hotel!

Furthermore, they are provided everyday which again is a must. Secondly, the complimentary mini bar which provided refreshments which were replenished daily. The pillow menu was much appreciated as I love a soft pillow. Thank you for the complimentary Cava and chocolates left in our room and the nightly turndown service and sweets left on pillow!

5. Hotel Helen Berger Boutique 4* – Gay Friendly Hotels Valencia

Gay hotels Valencia

Conveniently set in the centre of Valencia, Hotel Helen Berger provides air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. This 4-star hotel offers ticket service and luggage storage space. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and organising tours for guests.

At the hotel, each room includes a desk, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Guest rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle.

The location is also perfect. Very close to many attractions, historical buildings and the Central Market. There are also a number of great restaurants close by. The restaurant at the hotel was very good and we ate all of our breakfasts, one lunch and two dinners during our five night stay.

The value for money is unquestionable & even the bar/restaurant isn’t just a typical touristy hotel trap, it’s actually somewhere locals & others visit because it’s good & well priced. The staff deserve a special mention for their genuine helpfulness & kindness.

The room was well appointed and comfortable. They provide free water in the fridge for guests – just not keen on the tetra pak carton from a sustainability point of view. Good walk-in shower. Nice that there was a kettle so we could have tea in the room.

The breakfast was very good. Nice choice of fruit, yogurt, smoothies, toasts (with eggs/ham, avocado/turkey, salmon etc) and huge fresh croissants and muffins. Sets you up nicely for a day in the city.

We had one dinner in the bar as it was full in the restaurant. The bar and restaurant are clearly popular with Valencians. We got moved around a bit by the waiter to accommodate a large party. The food was tasty and nicely presented and we enjoyed the welcome drink, Agua di Valencia

The Hotel Helen Berger is only a few months old. It was formerly an apartment building. The renovation is wonderful. The hotel interior is very modern and functional but not cold or stark. The design is very pleasing. We have only standard rooms. They are standard European size which are small. The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious with large comfortable marble lines showers with just the most wonderful fittings and comfort. Our rooms all have a small balcony, enough to hold a couple or three people.

Th restaurant is wonderful. The included breakfast offer a choice of local items and American breakfast items. Many choices and one from. Each of the five or six sections. You can mix and match and coffee and juice are included. Not issue of wanting more of anything. The restaurant also offers an international mix of food and a prix-fixe lunch.

It is very popular with the local business lunch crowd. Prices are extremely reasonable with the utmost in excellent service. The hotel is excellent in the service aspect. The staff from desk to restaurant to housekeeping so a wonderful job. There is pride and joy reflected in the way they interact with people. It is well run. The rooms are super clean and orderly.
