Everything at Bali Eco Stay is just amazing!! I was shocked by the beauty of nature, the impressive views, the perfect little ‘three houses’ build in a way that you are one with nature!
The energy in this place is really unique.

This is a true Eco Resort and everything is made around the permaculture project.

They have their own garden (that add something very special to the culinary experience), were they will give you a tour and explain everything, super interesting!! They harvest most of the food products for the restaurant.

Only a little part of what they cannot grow is purchased from local producers.

The food at the restaurant is just beyond, it’s fresh, tasty, original and with beautiful presentation.

The onsite spring water is filtered and used the restaurant, shower etc and the river that runs through provides part of the energy to the lodge.

It’s a high quality pure mineral water. That you can also drink, so cool!

The rooms are all with different arrangement and view (waterfall, river, rice field etc.) I stayed next to the waterfall and the sound at night it is just too relaxing! I had 3 nights with perfect sleep, really loved all the nature sounds!

Bali ecostay is perfect to unwind and relax, meditate and re-connect with oneself and the nature.
You can also do some excursions and walks around the place.

It’s amazing how this place combine the feeling of being surrounded by nature, they have their own natural cooling water fall that makes you feel you are in the middle of the jungle, and 5 minutes from there, you get to an opened and panoramic view on rice fields.

And if you fly with a drone you can see it is all surrounded by mountains! Such a perfect balance of all bali best nature!

Bali Eco Stay is THE most beautiful and peaceful place in Bali….not even exaggerating.

Hidden in the hills and surrounded by rice fields, this ecofriendly sanctuary comes with beautiful rooms, an onsite (private) waterfall, a swing, a GIANT permaculture garden that grow most of the food you eat, lovely staff, yoga shalas AND two beautiful walks that lead you through coffee fields and lush jungle greenery.

DELICIOUS & locally grown food:
The food is AMAZING (try the wholemeal toast & Buddha Bowl).

They menu has something for EVERYONE – meat, vegetarian & vegan options. Every single thing I ate was perfectly seasoned and plated. TIP: let them know when you want your food made and they will have it ready for you.

It’s such a breath of fresh air (literally) to get away from the city and all the traffic hustle and bustle.
If you’ve been searching for the secluded, peaceful, paradise that you’ve always dreamed about and seen in photos this is it. The open air, over the water bungalows are just perfect.
Spacious, clean bathrooms- complete with eco friendly bath products, plush towels, and beautiful robes. Comfy beds, sofas, and pillows with fresh smelling bedding. Views in every direction that take your breath away. Privacy and space from the few neighboring bungalows.
Plenty of private swimming spots and even a private waterfall that is one of the most stunning we have seen.
The grounds here have so much to offer- fresh foods gardens, a yoga den, open air restaurant and massage area, rice fields, a forest garden, and hikes galore.
Now for the best part- the owner and the staff are so friendly, accommodating, and pleasant in each and every way. They really go out of their way to provide beyond 5 star service with a smile.

The food was amazing, really big servings, and top quality ingredients. We had to split a dinner one night, just so we could try one of their desserts (so good!).

It was nice to have the tour of their food garden, to see their permaculture process, and where the majority of the food we were eating was coming from.

Love how everything they do is ecofriendly. They’re truly supporting the planet we live on and keeping Bali beautiful.

It’s the best waking up with the sun surrounded by serene nature every day, and sleeping to the sounds of the water every night. Highly recommend this place.

2. Sarinbuana Eco Lodge 3* – Eco Lodges Bali

Sarinbuana Eco Lodge

Sarinbuana Eco Lodge is situated on the remote slopes of Mount Batukaru in Blimbing, Central Bali. The property is approximately a 2-hour drive from Denpasar.

Enjoying expansive views of the garden and mountains, all rooms have a terrace or a balcony with a seating area. All rooms have a private bathroom.

There’s a gift shop at the property. The restaurant serves meals made from the produce of the property’s organic garden.

It was the perfect place to relax and I felt safe and well cared for. As last time, I enjoyed falling asleep to jungle noises, eating the flavorful meals cooked by the talented Indonesian staff and relaxing in my bungalow or by the new natural pool.

This pool is the best natural pool I have seen so far! It was also lovely spending some time chatting with the family who built this place and hearing their stories. They’re extremely knowledgeable.

As an eco lodge, it ticks almost all the boxes (nobody is perfect but Sarinbuana is pretty close to it!). They really care about their environmental impact while supporting the community via employment and tours sold at the lodge.

Again, highly recommend a peaceful stay here for any nature lover.

What an absolutely magical and magnificent place. As a professional in sustainable tourism development, it is rare that I am truly impressed by the social, economic, and environmental impact of an eco-resort, and Sarinbuana is truly one of those that manages to positively impact all three.

Their new natural pool is just one of the many facets of the place that speaks to the ecological impact while sustaining incredible beauty and close community relations.

Guests at Ulaman Eco Retreat can enjoy a à la carte or an American breakfast.

At the accommodation guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub.

With all of the eco resorts in Bali to choose from, we chose Ulaman because of its unique bamboo villas, chill out spaces such as the wine cave and restaurant as well as a touch of luxury.

We stayed at the aptly names Cocoon Suite and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The bathrooms and bath tub in particular were particular highlights. The diverse lighting in the room is also great depending on your mood and we enjoyed sipping coffee in the mornings on the balcony with a jungle view.

Some of our highlights included drinking coconuts at the waterfall and river in the back gardens of Ulaman in the morning, lounging around the pool with cocktails during the day, visiting the yoga “Castle in the sky” in the evenings and our tree house dinner.

A special mention to the food! A really unexpected highlight. Simply delicious using the freshest and local ingredients grown on site. The tree house set up for dinner was like something out of a movie.
