But while there were some good things about our stay at Bou Savy Villa there were a few major setbacks. Since we are traveling with a toddler and she can not eat yet outside food, cooking it’s a must. So we were looking for a hotel or an apartment with kitchen and option to cook.
The room we booked the Family Triple Room with Pool View had it all:Kitchen,Children’s high chair and many more as per booking.com info. In fact did not have anything of that – related to kids or children protection as Child safety socket covers. As I father I am trying to protect my daughter and when families do travel they are looking for this kind of accommodation.
We stayed for only 2 nights and managed to cook the food at their kitchen.
Breakfast
Breakfast was poor – egg or noodle and a not very fresh juice and coffee – not to mention about it. Did not worth it all all.
Swimming pool and noise
If traveling with kids don’t book a room with a swimming pool view – it would be noisy. This was the case here as well; problem were not the other guests but local kids and some adults who come every morning around 6am and swim at the hotel swimming pool. And they were noisy and normaly the hotel should not allow outside guest.
The place really needs a proper manager and it has potential to be a good place to stay.
Overall it was a decent stay for the amount we paid but next stay we will definitely look for a different place to stay in Siem Reap.
