Great hotel, lovely and friendly staff, v clean. Helpful, good location for town centre. Rooms are very well equipped eg iron.

Hairdryer, soap, towels, etc. Also a big bonus for us was accepting a dog. Which she was welcomed and enjoyed her stay.

This is a lovely old coaching inn which was very conveniently placed for my week long work stay in the town. Very friendly staff who could not do enough for you, and excellent Covid arrangements which made me feel very safe.

Free parking on site and great value for money too.

And a dream for dog lovers as there is a very beautiful dog resident there too. Very nice dining room and great food available on site.

Lovely atmosphere with great people, lovely homely rooms and staff are all so lovely. The manager Sam has worked wonders in putting this place very much back on the map. Very dog friendly and function room is very versatile.

These Olde English Inns are excellent value. This is the 6th one we have stayed in for a short break.

Situated in the centre of Huntingdon, with free parking, you can forget the car and walk around the town.

Ate in the restaurant first night which was fine. Adele tribute night so we had good entertainment thrown in.

Beautiful courtyard for al fresco eating and drinking. Bonus for us is that dogs are made very welcome.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was excellent and it’s so nice to stay at a dog friendly hotel in which all are catered for.

On arrival to the room, which was upgraded. A personal card and bottle of Prosecco was there on our arrival with a beautiful box of doggy treats and food for our little dog Bella that came with us.

The hotel was very dog friendly and made her feel very special. The service and attention to detail was impeccable and very much appreciated.

The staff is simply awesome, that’s how hospitality should be. We were warmly welcomed by Pawel and Brooke, despite of lack of reservation we got a good room.

This hotel is truly taking pride of being pet friendly, in the room there is a bowl for the dog along with food, neatly packaged.
We enjoyed the restaurant too.

In spite of fine dining offer they provide kids menu.

Food was delicious and service was proper despite of full occupancy of the restaurant on Friday night.

I will highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys comfort, fine dining and great customer experience.

Thank you for your warm hospitality and I will definitely be back.

Video Review of The Waterman Hotel

Home-cooked food is served in the on-site restaurant. Wines, spirits and craft beers are available in the bar, and there is a secluded outdoor courtyard area for al fresco dining or drinking.

The room has a lovely decor with a lovely bathroom. The bed was comfy, lots of fresh towels, great TV for chilling out and a kettle with a good selection of tea and coffee. Even though the room is above a pub I was amazed at how quiet it was.

I couldn’t really hear anything. The location is great and very central and right next to the park which was great for us as we had our dog with us. The staff were all lovely.

We stayed for one night with our dog. The location is excellent – 2 mins from a large dog-friendly park and 10 mins walk to the historic centre of Cambridge.

Our room was above the beer garden bug that didn’t bother us as we were so tired from the days activities and the TV drowned out the hum from outside. Excellent stay overall.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the Waterman with mates and my dog. They’ve got a great atmosphere and we all had a tasty roast dinner with all the trimmings.

The service was friendly for both us and the dog. It’s always great to find a dog friendly pub, that lays on water and dog biscuits.

The big bonus was the pub’s dog Bruno who was a fantastic host to humans and dogs.
