Dog Friendly Tours in Bristol

Bristol is a city straddling the River Avon in the southwest of England with a prosperous maritime history. Its former city-centre port is now a cultural hub, the Harbourside, where the M Shed museum explores local social and industrial heritage.

The harbour’s 19th-century warehouses now contain restaurants, shops and cultural institutions such as contemporary art gallery The Arnolfini.

We were so lucky to stay here while visiting family in Bristol over Christmas. Everything at the hotel is wonderful – beautifully styled, a welcoming atmosphere and they love dogs too. To top it all off because so many people had cancelled their trips due to Covid we were upgraded to the most stunning suite.

That made our Christmas – everyone is so attentive and make staying there feel so effortless. This is by far the best hotel in Bristol and will make it our go-to every time.

Great place to stay within walking distance of the town centre and excellent restaurants. Extremely comfortable bed, ability to use Chromecast on the TV a nice bonus. Very helpful staff, who were happy to make suggestions for places to eat.

We also loved the downstairs bar, which had a great, cosy vibe and excellent cocktails; I think we tried most of them during our trip.

ery helpful and friendly service. Made us feel extremely welcomed with our Jack Russell dog Lulu. Loved both gardens, front and back (haven). Also enjoyed amenities, especially the bathroom.

All.in all an enjoyable experience, we will come again and take advantage of the in house restaurant (No 4 Clifton Village) next time, as it seems very popular with the general public.

The hotel is in an excellent location in Clifton village and very dog friendly. Staff were great and the quality of food and service in the restaurant outstanding.

Great location, right in the heart of Clifton – easy to get into town but lots of bars, restaurants, shops around the hotel.

The hotel was lovely, room was very comfortable with nice view and great extras (ground coffee/cafetiere/fresh fruit/TV).

And they allow dogs which was a big plus for us!

Very welcoming, helpful reception staff. Beautiful, characterful hotel. Comfy bed. Loved overlooking the square and being able to take our dog there before breakfast. Excellent location just off Park Street & next to Brandon Hill.

The hotel was in a great location, at the top of Park Street in Bristol, in a leafy square
but surrounded by buzzing restaurants and shops.

The hotel was dog friendly, which was a big bonus for us. Nearby restaurants and pubs were also dog friendly.

Came across it by chance, by pressing ‘pet friendly’ on Booking.com. Such a lovely little square in Bristol with a central garden.

Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was characterful and very comfortable. The food for me was the absolute highlight.

Seriously, anyone that can make me wake up during the night with my taste buds still tingling (in a good way!) is seriously talented.

I was given two rolls of homemade bread to start followed by carrot & cardamom veloute with pumpkin seed praline.

Main course was Gochujang pork belly with citrus braised octopus, broccoli, black beans (gf) with a seaweed wafer. The octopus literally melted in your mouth – now that is a sign of true skill.
