Set across from a park 1 mile from the city centre, this streamlined hotel is an 8-minute walk from aircraft exhibits at Solent Sky Museum, a 7-minute walk from 14th-century Tudor House and Garden and a 2-minute walk from the closest bus stop.

A breakfast buffet is available for a fee in a relaxed cafe/bar. There’s a fitness centre, as well as parking (surcharge). Pets are welcome.

Lovely hotel and staff. Nice that it’s pet friendly too so the dog could come with. Love the concept too!

The facilities in the hotel were brilliant including a dishwasher and a flat screen tv.

There was many bits and bobs that they included; washing up liquid, card games and even included a toy for the dog in the room.

Stayed here for one night with family! Staff friendly and courteous. Accommodation very clean and spacious!

Pet friendly if you have a dog!

Would definitely recommend this location if you are looking for accommodation.

Also a pet-friendly place for your furry friends and just next to a beautiful park that you can walk your doggy whenever needed.

Spacious and tidy room with everything cooking tool you needed.

Located near shopping mall, banks and tourist attraction. (5-15 min by walk) Very convenient to purchase and explore whatever you wanted.

Highly recommend anyone who comes to Southampton to Room2 Southampton either for business or leisure.

2. The Elizabeth House Hotel 2* – Pet Friendly Hotels Southampton

 

This privately-run hotel is a short walk from Southampton University and the city centre. It has free parking and individually designed en suite rooms.

The hotel boasts an art deco inspired bar and restaurant leading to a private walled town garden. Please check with the hotel for the restaurant hours.

All rooms have 26-inch (66 cm) flat-screen TVs with Freeview. Free Wi-Fi is available in bedrooms and throughout the hotel.

Stayed here for 5 nights with our Spaniel. A delightful old English-style hotel, huge room, high ceilings with plaster covings.

There is a charge for bringing a pet; however, unlike many whiffy “pet-friendly rooms” our room was immaculate, and hence, we felt that the extra charge is justified.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Adequate range of menu options – delicious beef burgers at very reasonable prices.

Southampton Common is a short walk away and offers plenty of interesting sniffs for inquisitive dog-companions.

From the moment we spoke to make a reservation we knew we were going to be looked after. As we have 2 dogs (yes the hotel is pet friendly), and wanted space we were offered their beautiful 4 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment overlooking the garden.

The apartment is beautiful with large rooms, kitchen, living room and dining area.

Parking was amazing and we could park outside the apartments private entrance. It was more than we needed and couldn’t have been happier.

The other major thing alongside how friendly the hotel was is how clean it is. I don’t mean ‘popped the hoover round clean’, I mean spotless. It is extremely unusual to find a hotel so clean. I used the bathroom near reception and really surprised how clean it was.

Our stay at the Elizabeth house was very pleasant. We chose it because we were traveling with Olive, our French Bulldog, and they allow pets. Pet friendly doesn’t even begin to describe it, the staff adored our dog and were very accommodating to our needs. Each and every person who works there are so nice and they make you feel very welcome.

The hotel is nicely situated near many parks and the downtown area. The room was comfortable and the bathroom ample.

Unfortunately they introduced me to fried toast which I indulged myself in at their ample breakfast since I was on vacation.

Loved the fact it was pet friendly and we could take our dog.

Awesome location in the centre of Southampton. Loved the board games downstairs near the bar area. The bar is modern and relaxing.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, very clean and always smells nice! Our room was simple but very pretty and clean.

They welcomed my 3 doggies at a reasonable cleaning fee.

The staff is professional and polite.

Communication before and during my stay was immaculate.

The rooms are clean and comfy not bad for the price good location parking is easy also dog friendly.

Be aware there is a charge or 20 pounds per night.

Breakfast is a bit overpriced best to find another place to eat.
