Beautiful refurbished rooms, really friendly staff and very clean.

About 10 minutes walk from bars/ Restaurants and 15 from the harbor front. The Acropolis is stunning, 20 minutes walk, and a shuttle for 30KUN to harbourfront from the airport.

The location is good – just a short stroll into town with plenty of eating and drinking options – we used the bar in the hotel too and this was not overly expensive.

Room is simple but everything in functional.

The water heater can be larger as we have four in the room, and it takes 30 mins for the water to heat up for the next one to take shower.
A big thumb up for having an elevator in the building, no more carrying suitcase up and down the stair.

The reception closes at 10pm, and there is an after hour entrance located on the other side of the hotel.

Walking to downtown is only 8 mins as Pula is not a big city. There are restaurants, bakery and a small supermarket in the city area.

There is a bigger supermarket opposite to the city centre direction, from hotel to the bigger supermarket called Plodine is around 15 mins walk.

The room was clean, tidy, air conditioned and functional. Staying here you are literally a 5 min walk into the main street, you literally just go down the hill, by the police station and through the gate to the city – which is beautiful.

Reception were great on advising where to eat and recommended a great pizzeria called Jupiters which was situated just off the main street, so nice and local and amazing fresh cooked pizzas.

Friendly and nice staff, good breakfast. Situated near to the center/tourist area but not in it, so it was relatively quiet. Free parking place about 3 min walk. And they are dog friendly!!! 🙂

The lift took us up to our room which was pretty large as we paid for the superior room.

The extra space was taken up by two other bunk beds which we had no use for, but it was nice to be in a large room all the same.

The bathroom had a funny smell which was a bit off putting, but it was well cleaned for the most part. The balcony was lovely on the warm evenings to sit out and relax when we got in from a day of exploring Pula.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was a hotel dog who hung around in the lobby/outside the front door which was a warming touch for dog lovers like ourselves. It is a short walk into the centre from this hotel, taking approx 6-7 minutes at a reasonable pace. We got a ferry from Pula to Venice, and the port is a 15/20 minute walk from the hotel (queue at the yellow building on the harbour over the road from the amphitheatre).

Overall a very nice hotel, nothing flashy or too fancy but just right for a comfortable stay in Pula

2. Boutique Hotel Valsabbion 4* – Dog Friendly Hotels Pula

This modern, exclusively designed boutique hotel is 20 m away from the Adriatic Sea coast in Pjescana Uvala, 3 km from the centre Pula. Mythos-Medical Spa Centre offers numerous medical and massage treatments. Built in 2014, an outdoor heated swimming pool boasts sea views.

The spacious rooms at Valsabbion were completely renovated in 2015 and are equipped with balconies with sea or garden views, air conditioning, minibars and safes. They are anti-allergically furnished and the bathrooms come with bathrobes and hairdryers.

Featuring views of Pula Harbor, this laid-back hotel is a minute’s walk from Pješčana Beach, 5 km from Pula Aquarium and 12 km from Pula Airport.

Chic, understated rooms, some with harbor views, provide flat-screen TVs. An upgraded room offers a private open-air pool.

There’s an outdoor pool and a spa, plus a gazebo with harbor views. Breakfast is available (surcharge).

From the moment we checked in at the beautiful and modern hotel Valsabbion we felt relaxed and very much at home. We were welcomed by one of the sweet and professional hostesses and she and her collegue Mary were both incredibly nice towards our little dog too.

The room was magnificent and we enjoyed the sublime breakfast very much and the time we spent by the pool/lounge area.

This is by far the most friendly stuff I have experienced for a long time. Just amazing people who made our stay very relaxing. We had a big dog travelling with us and he was welcome at any time too. We appreciated the no stress dog culture very much.

The rooms with the sea view are amazing, our junior suite was nicely build with a big private terrace facing the sea and very clean and the king size bed was soooooo comfy. Public parking in front of the hotel was easy and for free. The hotel is overlooking a little nice bay just across the street and a few steps away from the harbour.

There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are some nice restaurants in walking distance around the corner. No comments about the Spa, we have not been there.

Boutique Hotel Valsabbion is industrial, if you want a fabulous 4 star perhaps 5 star small hotel with a clean private pool and seaside cabana this is it.

I ordered a small appetizer of tapas and wine. Huge serving! Great service and amazing views.

Quiet location. Plenty of parking.

Big beach 2 min walking and fun huge kids inflatable in the sea. Adults section to the right of the hotel!

Cheerful breakfast room with great service and wonderful food. Most helpful and friendly. l hosts. I warmly recommend it.

It is in an excellent location, close to the amphitheatre, the waterfront and shops etc. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room whilst not large was more than adequate, clean and with comfortable beds

Unlike some reviews we did not find it noisy and we were overlooking the main road. For good value, location, comfort and warm welcome, thoroughly recommended.
