We transformed the original, monumental building into a stunning eco-sexy, 89-room hotel. Situated in lush Westerpark, one side of the hotel overlooks the cultural grounds of Westergasfabriek (a former gas works) – a hotspot for cultural events and bustling markets – while on the other side, there’s a tranquil, green park – perfect for morning walks. T he hotel is 100% electric and has a sustainable energy system.

The rooms feature extremely comfortable Auping beds, some even 200 x 210 cm. Enjoy the on-site organic restaurant Bar Kantoor and sexy grab & go Conscious Café, for all your cravings!

Fabulous hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Eco friendly. Self checkout. Love the plant wall and aquarium. Rooms very cleverly designed. Good 20 min walk to and from centre of city so need to like to walk.

The hotel is lovely and very clean and stylish. All the staff were great and really helpful, and it was fantastic having the reception and shop open 24/7 – great in the morning when coffee was desperately needed, and also late at night when we got hungry and wanted crisps! Lovely selection of low waste and natural products too.

More like a little student apartment, very spacious, simple but modern design. Upon entering the room, the bathroom is on the right which was nicely decorated and designed, large shower space and all the products were eco/vegan friendly , there were little steps that led us to our bedroom area which had a nice large, super comfy bed, TV on the wall, hot drink making facilities, a safe, water and some little snacks as a welcome, and round the corner some more steps which led ‘upstairs’ to a sofa and desk area.

The windows were the biggest and our favourite feature of the room because we could see so much outside, and there were some binoculars on the ledge for us to use too. We had breakfast once at the hotel, which is a little pricey if you haven’t pre booked but the food was good, can help yourself as much as you want and can either be charged to the card you paid for your room on or another one once you check out. The staff are all super friendly, and the hotel itself is super quirky, quaint and just a nice chilled place to be.

The park is perfect for a stroll, or a picnic and some general down time away from the busy life of the city. I’m sure you can hire bikes from the hotel too but we didn’t want to risk our lives because people are crazy on them haha. We would definitely definitely stay here again if we visit Amsterdam again.

The Pincoffs Suite Hotel is a small luxury hotel. It resides in a national monument built in 1879 in the area currently called Kop van Zuid, the trendy Rotterdam left bank. The former customs office is full of atmosphere and authentic details. We can offer you charm, space and comfort in our 17 suites, luxury rooms, hotel bar and period rooms for meetings. The view of the river, the bridges and the skyline is heartwarming. There is free espresso coffee, tea and water in each room and suite. The Pincoffs serves breakfast, lunch and a small number of dinner plates. There is free parking in the street after 18:00h and on Sundays. The hotel has a private parking (20 euro per car per night).

This cute 17 room, small hotel is great! Unique rooms, great staff(will go above and beyond to make your stay great). Breakfast made to order every day for you. Cool location .7 miles to food galore just across the bridge. Make sure to have a drink in their bar and strike up a conversation with the staff. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and had great conversations with. Super comfy beds and rooms. Very eco friendly. Easy tram acces as well.

We only stayed one night (unfortunately) at the lovely eco-friendly Suitehotel Pincoffs. The time we did spend at the hotel was very good.

Everything was great about this hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Very accommodating, friendly, helpful, considerate. They were the kind of people with whom you just want to hang out, drink wine, and enjoy an evening of conversation.

The room was spacious — always appreciated in the Netherlands — had an interesting eco-design, a little espresso machine, an iPod dock, work area, and a small-ish but well-appointed, stylish and functional bathroom.

I also liked the eco/natural design touches around the hotel.

I have never encountered such a level of personable, caring and friendly service in a hotel. The staff and owners of Pincoffs really care about making you feel right at home and they absolutely succeed! It actually feels like you are visiting a friend or family member when you stay here.
The decorating style (as others have mentioned) is a bit quirky and there are many mixed elements here. Some work and some don’t. I found myself wishing that the owners had stuck more to the actual period of the original beautiful customs building the hotel occupies. Some furnishings were a bit awkward and just don’t fit. It would be wonderful if the hotel decorations and furnishings were more in line with the time period of the hotel or there was a more minimal feel. Also I would have liked less reading materials and more empty surfaces in my room to place my own belongings.

My large room actually felt a bit cluttered. The bed had superior sheets, blankets and duvets. The mattress was a bit saggy for me but still comfortable.

One thing I have encountered in almost every hotel I have stayed in are towels that are very skimpy and in minimal supply. I don’t why hotels do not provide larger towels. If I owned a hotel I would give ample and plentiful towels! It makes such a difference.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about Rotterdam and gave me tons of help and information to help me see all the sights I could pack in during my time there.

Very nice hotel, eco-friendly, personnel prepared and with an exceptional attitude. We tried the bar on 8th floor and the restaurant: great experience! I’d like to come back again and also try the Spa. A good reason to come back to Amsterdam.

Large room with balcony overlooking the water. Comfortable bed. Great shower, which was spacious, clean and powerful. Lush indoor jungle garden. Small, functional gym and indoor pool. Lots of choice for breakfast and chefs will make you eggs etc on request.

It’s a bit out the centre. Bikes available to rent from reception, which is the best way to get about in Amsterdam and means that nothing is far away.

Overall a fantastic hotel. Only downside was the cooling system, which couldn’t cope with the very hot weather when we stayed there. I understand it is an ecosystem, which is great idea, but it struggles on the hottest days. I think they are trying to fix this problem.

Hotel Jakarta came up as one of the cheaper options and from the pictures and reviews sounded amazing, so i booked. Well, i was not disappointed. Whilst it is a little way outside of the city centre, it is easily reachable by bus 48 from central station or a 15-20 walk if you so please. It’s an amazing hotel.

The rooms are perfect. Wooden cladded, classy but minimalist furniture and the most comfy beds ever! Amazing shower and so very clean. The breakfast was 10/10 with everything you could wish for and the spa area was outstanding. Relaxing, warm and a perfect place with a book after a long day sightseeing. It’s so great here, i don’t wanna leave! One of my top hotels i’ve stayed in for sure and eco friendly to boot. Highly recommend and I for one will definitely be back.

From the glass of bubbles at the check-in, the roomcard made out of Bamboo to all eco-friendly installations they have in place to keep this hotel CO2 neutral.
What I like most about this eco-hotel that it didn’t lose any points on comfort while on their mission for sustainability.

The rooms are quite, the shower is perfect and the beds are amazing! Also the spa is just the best place to stay forever.

Great choice of accommodation and restaurant. Eco materials, stylish, clean, comfortable, quiet. Very comfortable bed. Coffee machine. Complimentary water. Great food. Both breakfast and dinner. Accessible by tram or taxi. Wonderful views.

This hotel deserves all the praise. It’s beautifully designed and the inside gardens are a treat. Food is wonderful- Indonesian choices really nice. Rooms large and modern. We received some lovely sparkling wine for our anniversary. Such friendly staff! Why stay in an old fashioned hotel that is dark and pokey when you can stay here and feel like you’re at sea? I’d come back in a heartbeat.
