The gourmet restaurant, Salt, serves innovative dishes made with traditional and contemporary Danish culinary techniques on its a la carte menu. Creative cocktail combinations are crafted at Salt bar along with a menu of light snacks. During the summertime, patio dining is available and offers views of the harbour and the hotel’s 3 vintage schooner ships.

Next door to royal residence Amalienborg Palace and just a short walk from Nyhavn, this imposing 200-year-old former granary warehouse is one of the largest hotels in the city, with 366 rooms – but don’t let that put you off. It may not be boutique but big can definitely be beautiful.
Beyond the two cast iron cannons at the entrance is a neon-pink bar (great for a pre-dinner tipple), while guests retire to rooms showing off classic Danish touches such as teak furniture, low ceilings and original wooden beams. Best of all are the panoramas across the water towards the city’s shiny Opera House and Christiania: a view fit for royalty.
This hotel gave me the best of everything: service, location, food, eco-friendly, ambience, great bedding (I travel often and slept remarkably well); all in all a fully Danish and home away from home experience. Highest recommendations.
Excellent – convenient yet peaceful location for walking into the city. Everything was spotlessly clean and staff were very friendly and helpful, whilst speaking excellent English. Our room was at the back, thoughtfully and tastefully designed, simple and clean. We loved the original beams and the walk-in shower as well as the comfortable bed. Pleased that the hotel also aims to be eco friendly, but they could turn the heating down a little (although it can be controlled in the rooms). Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent hotel and the newly renovated rooms are luxurious, well designed and 100% impeccable. Staff is so friendly and courteous all the time. Breakfast is what Scandinavians appreciate with a lot of fruits and vegetables and scrambled eggs from eco eggs. Lovely. Go there.
The room, with a view of the Amelie harbor was bright, clean, spacious and reflected the huge efforts that the hotel invests to upgrade the accommodation.
The hotel staff was very welcoming, and the Concierge has offered excellent advice on restaurants. WIFI is very good.
We will return and highly recommend this hotel & location as it close to Nyhavn, where you will find loads of good restaurants, city sights and historic buildings.
Best location in Copenhagen, friendly service, beautiful rooms with a sensational view to the harbor and the opera. Definitely a hotel to be recommended to friends. I would book the hotel again in case of a trip to Copenhagen.

Hotel GSH is located wonderfully on Strandvejen in Rønne – in the middle of the city, the forest and the beach. You will be welcomed by large and well furnished rooms. Even tough the hotel is very new – you cannot expect all the furniture to be totally new as well. This is because it is more environmentally conscious to re-cover old danish design furniture with new organic material than to buy new furniture in China.
Overall a very nice stay. Staff was very helpful and provided excellent service.
The location is good – only a short distance to Roenne, but still nice and quiet surrounded by nature. Breakfast was very good (and organic) which we appreciate.
A nice place very close to the beach. Lovely rooms, with at little garden with chairs.
The restaurant served good food og nice vine. Close to the city off Rønne and a bus just outside the hotel. Bornholm is very beautiful with plenty of nice places to visit.
A Nice hotel at the outskirts of Rønne. The rooms are Nice and clean and the restaurant serve good food. But being located 2 km from Rønne, You do need some kind of personal transportation if You plan a trip to Rønne. A rented bicycle can do the job.

This brand new hotel is awesome. Location is very close to both the Metro and city center and the lively Islands Brygge.
Beds are made up of four layers of mattresses and the room are extremely quiet – I slept like a baby. The breakfast is to die for and the showers are recycling your water. Such a great idea. The entire place is beautifully decorated like all other Guldsmeden hotels.
You will definitely love to stay here.
The hotel is new and modern, but it has yet a unique and wonderful identity. The decoration in the hall, the buffet for breakfast, the rooms are incredible. Thank you so much from your work. The team is efficient and has very kinds attention. I always book in Bryggen Guldsmeden now each time I come to Copenhagen;) I can only recommend this wonderful hotel with my best smile;)!

The staff are lovely and it feels like a family run place. The room was beautiful in decor and the facilities were all fabulous quality. The area is calm and the metro station is an easy walk from the hotel. The breakfast was mainly organic, tasty, healthy. Our stay here was a total treat and I look forward to coming back here as a base to Copenhagen.

The bedroom was absolutely stunning – a Nordic/Bali vibe. The cafe and communal areas were also really beautiful and immaculate. We had an amazing time and already want to return. The hotel was literally 30 seconds from Copenhagen central railway station where you can go directly by train in 15 mins to the airport and by tube to many other places.
