Stayed 1 night in the Studio Skyline room. All rooms are above 40th floor with 40th floor being the reception area. My room was on the 44th floor and could see the KL Tower (Menara Kuala Lumpur) and partial Petronas Twin Towers. The hotel is a 3-min walk to Ampang Park LRT Station, which is just a stop away from KLCC.

The room is clean, spacious and bright with the floor-to-ceiling windows! The washroom spots an elegant style – marble flooring and walls with a standing shower (be careful that floor might be slippery when wet!). Overall, the hotel adopts a very contemporary design. The corridor and lift lobby felt like an art gallery!

I like their focus in being green and such initiatives are ubiquitous in the hotel (eg. skip the straws, bike lending system, etc). The room has a 3M filtered drinking water faucet (no drinking water provided in plastics bottle), bring along a bottle if you want to bring some water out.

The closest to home feeling in the heart of Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan. Spectacular view with a free flow hot beverages & the whole entire hotel is so artistic. Eco friendly hotel where they serve filtered tap water. So easy to drink without asking for bottle water. You can either dine in with the touch of western infuse with local taste or you can have the comfort of cooking your own food in the hotel room.
Amazing hotel located right in the klcc area and close to all the main tourist attractions and places of interest. The hotel is very clean, appealing and eco friendly. The rooms are very spacious and there’s enough breathing space. Breakfast, amenities and services are spellbound.

Element Kuala Lumpur is located on the top part of the building. This is actually a green building so there are some kinks that I needed time to get used to. It is currently the tallest eco-friendly hotel in the city.

Service here is decent and prompt. Recognition is good. I love the fact that they have a fully functional kitchen that we could do our own cooking. The gym view is pretty amazing. I’m totally in love with it. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a gym that frequent as I do here in any other place. Great pool, but however it isn’t a heated pool any more. Lights were not lit as much as it use to be and the pool seems to be dull. The pool itself is an amazing piece of art. They use to light it up at night and you would understand why I say so.

This is our second time staying at the tallest eco-friendly hotel property in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, and we are thoroughly impressed with the high level of hospitality and service rendered by the hotel staff again.

The level of service from the team is very high and customer-oriented. Kudos to the General Manager Ms Doris Chin who is very much on the ground greeting guests and ensuring that everything is well taken care of. That personal touch from a GM is very much commendable. Her team of staff from all departments are also service-oriented and hospitable. We have experienced it from their reservations, front office, restaurants, concierge and housekeeping, just to name a few.

I applaud the green initiative of the hotel and must mention that as the hotel does not serve mineral water in bottles. But nevertheless, the filtered water from the dispenser are extremely drinkable, pure and refreshing and taste better than the classic mineral water from bottles. From someone who drinks a lot of premium mineral water daily we know the difference between a filtered water and tap water just from the taste.

If you stay some of the room category of the high floor you can be amazed by a panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline that is breathtaking. The location is also just a few minutes walk from KLCC shopping mall. There is also a minimart at the lobby of the hotel that is open from morning till late night. In-room wifi is also strong and you can watch Netflix from their smart TV seamlessly. There are also dual usb charging ports conveniently located in the bedrooms to charge your mobile phones as well as universal power sockets on the wall that are very much appreciated and convenient for travellers.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom skyline suite that has a pantry area that includes a washing machine, dryer, coffee machine, microwave oven as well as a kitchen. The room has a great view and is clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable (just like their Heavenly Beds very well known of the Westin brand) and if you’re here on a vacation, you would feel lazy and wanna just stay in the cozy rooms, dream at the amazing skyline and just chill deep into pleasant thoughts.

Breakfast is from Trace Restaurant and Bar is above expectations even though at times it might get a little crowded but the friendly and hardworking staff always manages the heavy traffic flow and clearing of tables and managing food stations with ease. One or two of the staff there is always very warm is welcoming and deserves to be mentioned here but we could not get their names in time. There was not much changes in food variety the last I was there but have been told that they do rotate the buffet spread periodically. The freshly pressed juices are great and healthy as well as the egg stations which are nicely done.

Elements Hotel is consistent with their level of service as we had remembered it for when we visited, a year back. The handwritten welcome note still warms our heart as much as it did the first time we received it.

Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel should you visit KL. This property is highly recommended and definitely value for money. Would definitely be back again.

As the tallest eco-friendly hotel in KL, this hotel offered plastic-free products within the hotel premises which were great.

The room was very spacious and cozy. The breakfast spread were very good and the taste were excellent as well.

3. Alila Bangsar Kuala Lumpur 5*  – Eco Friendly Hotels Kuala Lumpur

Alila Bangsar Kuala Lumpur
Alila Bangsar Kuala Lumpur

Located in a vibrant district, Alila Bangsar Kuala Lumpur offers 5-star accommodations above the hustle and bustle of the city. It features an outdoor swimming pool and guests can enjoy meals at the in-house restaurant or have a drink at the bar. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

Featuring interiors by Neri&Hu, air-conditioned contemporary-style rooms are fitted with a desk and a flat-screen TV. Certain units feature a balcony. En suite bathrooms include shower facilities. Guests enjoy access to the Alila Living Room on every floor for complimentary refreshments.

On a bustling city street, this sleek hotel in a high-rise is a 4-minute walk from Bank Rakyat Bangsar metro station and an 11-minute walk from the eateries and shops in lively Brickfields.

Sophisticated rooms offer city views, rainfall showers, free Wi-Fi, flat-screens and sofas, plus safes. Some feature balconies. Minibars are available. Suites provide living rooms and welcome refreshments. Room service is offered 24/7.

Area chauffeur service is complimentary. Dining options range from 3 bars (1 is rooftop) to a semi-formal French restaurant; breakfast is available (surcharge). There’s an indoor pool offering city views, as well as a gym.

Elevated above the bustle of Bangsar, one of Kuala Lumpur’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan districts, Alila Bangsar is a modern urban retreat that fuses a haven of relaxation with a lively city vibe. Comfort and personalised service meet contemporary style and a variety of dining and lifestyle facilities, ideal for young urbanites, leisure travellers and sophisticated executives. A place to feel at home, and in the heart of it all.

Wood and greens can be seen throughout this eco-friendly hotel. toiletries are found in wooden containers to avoid plastics, room size is comfortably large, tastefully designed and decorated. Free shuttle to the nearby malls was very useful.

The hotel is also next to the Bangsar LRT station which connects you to the rest of the city. the restaurant at the ground floor is similarly decorated with menu that is interestingly curated and wait staff friendly and efficient. can’t ask for more. been back second time and nothing disappoints.

There is also juice in the morning with small bites for free if you don’t want a regular breakfast. iced/ hot tea available throughout the day and a coffee machine with fresh beans grounded on every floor. spectacular view from the pool and bar, gym was adequately equipped. the air conditioner was a bit dodgy, went off by itself in the middle of the night and a little noisy but other than that, a perfect stay.

Alila Bangsar is a nice hotel close to KL city center. Good location next to a LRT station making it very convenient to travel around traffic congested KL. We appreciate the fact that Alila is eco-friendly and the young staff is friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a great view over Bangsar.

Truly a hidden gem! Nestled in a rough neighborhood but once you enter the hotel premise it give you a sense of serenity and calmness with its tropical setting. It’s an oasis in the city. Spacious room with its functionality and not forgetting their living room providing free flow brew coffee and snacks all day long.

Morning pastries and juices are also provided. Eco friendly hotel, filtered water bottles are provided and refillable. Accessibility is amazing, there is a linked bridge to train station and top all these, they also provide free shuttle to Mid Valley, Bangsar Village and also KL Sentral! Lastly, the restaurants and bar serving delicious meals and drinks. Will definitely come back.

Went there on a random weekend, and it was surpassed all expectations. Staff was great and attentive. The lift floors open up to a mini lobby with a mini bar stocked with coffees and teas as well as light snacks for everyone to enjoy.

The rooms were clean and Alila practices this eco friendly concept, where they only offer toothbrushes upon requests. Bottled water are not provided and instead are stored in glass containers. Soaps are individual dispensers and not in readily stealable little plastic bottles.

The hotel package also came with a breakfast package which was really nice. Along with their sustainable concept, they’re breakfasts are made when ordered and not a buffet spread to reduce wastage.

Only downside, is it’s location, for those from out of town or unfamiliar, reaching the destination can be a little tricky and confusing. Approaching the destination, you’d have to pass by a really old neighbourhood which might make you feel as if your taxi driver might be taking you to the wrong place. However once you’ve reached all that dissipates.

All in all, the hotel really felt like home away from home and would definitely like to return.
