The service was fabulous, free internet, cheese and wine was lovely the valet parking excellent! The bed was huge! The hotel is trying to be as green as it can be using eco-friendly toiletries and having a card to not change the sheets every other day.
Fresh and beautiful, decorated in modern style with clean lines and relaxing colors. Perfectly located for business or leisure, surrounded by great restaurants and shopping, and convenient to all local attractions. This hotel offers everything travelers need for convenience and comfort. Beginning the day with a healthy and refreshing breakfast, and ending with a relaxing afternoon happy hour of cheeses and wines – all complimentary.
Staff is very professional and helpful. Rooms are bright, very clean and comfortable, and eco-conscious with earth friendly bath products. I have stayed at numerous luxury hotels throughout Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, and this is definitely a luxury class hotel without the luxury class price! An absolute must for any traveler looking for ease, comfort, style and value.

My room was very clean and well-maintained; I found the bed very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t fancy (bagels, other breads, muffins one morning, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice) but it was sufficient to hit the spot and get us started in the morning. My only complaint was that one morning there was no hot water, so my shower was fairly uncomfortable. Had I simply waited a bit (maybe 30 minutes), however, I could have enjoyed a hot shower. I received a $30 credit on my bill and a sincere apology.

The immediate neighborhood of the hotel isn’t pleasant — lots of fast food places and a Goodwill shop across the street. But aside from the surroundings, the location is terrific — easy walking distance to the Beverly Center and a longer walk to the Farmers‘ Market and the Los Angeles County Art Museum.

The location of the hotel is very convenient for going to Hollywood, Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, as well as not far from Santa Monica and DTLA. The room was slightly small but a comfortable bed and well furnished bathroom made up for the size. Nice to also have a small balcony to step outside. The weekday wine and cheese happy hour was a nice offering.

While you’re here, be sure to check out some of the wine bars, including Restoration Kitchen and Wine and Rain Wine Bar and Lounge, all of which are a short distance from Miyako Hybrid Hotel.

Overall, this branch of the Miyako franchise is wonderfully quiet, clean, with amenities that would put it at the very minimum the same level as many mid to high range business travel hotels. It’s also an eco-friendly hotel with several energy and water saving measures in place! Bonus points for being family friendly.

Pros:
-The price point is very affordable, ranging from $150-200 for a standard double or king room
-Every room has an incredible Japanese-style bath, which means that there is an extra-deep tub (bath salts provided), right next to the shower head/rainforest overhead shower
-Very very clean & quiet rooms, with great amenities: free water bottles, mini fridge, bath robes, slippers, Aveda bath products)
-Free parking
-Amazing location near Mitsuwa Marketplace and many other delicious eateries (I highly recommend checking out Musha or Izakaya Hachi for late night izakaya fun!), with one solid onsite Japanese eatery.

They had heated toilet seat *(which my niece seemed to enjoy the most :)). The bath tub was amazing. It’s felt almost like your own private swimming pool. I usually don’t take baths bc I don’t like the tubs in hotels (they look dirty, old and small) but as soon as I saw this tub I felt urge to relax and take a long bath. I also like fitness center. It’s small but it had everything you needed to work out. The lobby was amazing with beautiful decor. And not to mention restaurant/buffet. Great food. Good room service. I also like the fact that this hotel is eco friendly. Great place. Definitely coming back.

The hotel area was ok. The hotel is modern and was a great hotel! The staff was friendly and very nice so we felt welcomed. The hotel is eco friendly and the rooms were so relaxing and the beds were comfortable. The huge tv in our room was a plus and the bathroom was nice. I would stay here again.

Eco-friendly, modern Japanese with a soundless a/c. (So soundless that we called Maintenance to ask if the a/c was working!) Room was average size but had great design extras like a desk/dresser top that ran the full length of the room, bathroom slider door, lots of plugs for electronics, lots of lighting options and an ingenious in-drawer safe. Great location next to Mitsuwa (Japanese grocery store/food court) ,just opened Daiso. and only a few minutes to the highway.

The rooms are always immaculately clean, with beautiful decor, comfortable bed, and an amazing bathroom.

The bathroom has separate areas for the toilet, sink, and a bathtub with a shower outside of the tub! One person can take a bath while a second showers! We have never seen a bathroom so well appointed, yet practical. We even purchased a Japanese toilet for our home that is comparable to the appliance at the hotel.

Security is great. No one can access a room on any floor without an activated card key. Then a card key is needed to enter the room. Each room has a free safe. The door lock is good quality, with an extra latch and metal stopper at eye level.

The parking lot has plenty of free parking in front of the hotel or across the street. Best not to park under the trees on the west side due to bird droppings and sap during some times of the year. There is also special parking for disabled persons and another special area electric hybrid vehicles.

The hotel is green, with heat and electricity generated by solar panels on the roof. Amazingly, the rooms always have plenty of electricity and hot water.

A world class Japanese restaurant is on the premises. The breakfast buffet features traditional Japanese breakfast or American breakfast, with a very large selection. Lunch and dinner menus feature many classic Japanese dishes, with extraordinary sets of complete meals.

A gift shop is open limited hours. Ask at the front desk. The shop sells wine, soft drinks, snacks and souvenirs.

The location of the hotel is great for all attractions in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. We always bring our car and can travel anywhere south of the Santa Monica Mountains in under an hour. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from I-405 or the 110 Freeway.

The hotel is next to Mitsuwa Market, which has a food court. Immediately south of Mitsuwa is a commercial center with about eight more restaurants. So, plenty of food is nearby! Downtown Torrance is a quarter mile to the west of the hotel for more restaurants and boutique stores.

hotel is steps from UCLA, Westwood Village, Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills. The luxurious guestrooms feature sweeping city views and modern artistic décor. Double Take, our on site restaurant is a stylish, modern American bar and restaurant for guests to enjoy fresh and flavorful cuisine using local sustainable products.”,”viewport”:”DESKTOP”}]}”>

Hotel Palomar Los Angeles – Westwood is a stunner of a boutique hotel in Los Angeles’ most vibrantly beautiful neighborhood. Located on Wilshire Boulevard’s Golden Mile, this stylish “Art in Motion” hotel is steps from UCLA, Westwood Village, Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills.
The luxurious guest rooms feature sweeping city views and modern artistic décor. Double Take, our on site restaurant is a stylish, modern American bar and restaurant for guests to enjoy fresh and flavorful cuisine using local sustainable products.

The Kimpton Hotel Palomar Beverly Hills on Wilshire is located in a residential neighborhood near the UCLA campus. The location makes for a nice morning jog or walk on the side streets near the hotel with their gorgeous lawns, succulents and many roses. A Peet’s Coffee is not too far away if this is your thing. Sometimes it’s mine when I am away from home for a week and I feel like something more “normal” than another generic coffee downstairs in a hotel.

The provided “Atelier Bloem” products were amazing. The shampoo, bath gel, and conditioner were all eco-friendly, provided in shower in full-sized bottles with pumps. The hand soap bar for the sink is also delightful. Small bottles of amazingly scented lotion are also provided, as are cotton balls, cotton swabs, and a shower cap.

My room also had a comfortable desk, and a couch. Decor and throw pillows are modern and tasteful. The room has an attitude, in a good way. Not every detail of the room is ultra-luxurious (I.e. The ample-spaced granite countertops in the bathroom are reminiscent of a Marriott, and the tubs are not deep soaking), BUT the modern decor and details make up for what it lacks, giving the room more personality than you would find at a more generic chain. For example, the generic granite counter in the bathroom is juxtaposed with an interesting mirror, a hanging light fixture, and the wall paper (which is CLEAN, no stains) is in an easy, modern print. The hairdryer worked well.

You can grab dinner or drinks at the bar downstairs (they even customized my avocado toast), but note that breakfast ends at 10:30am, so if you intend to sleep in, you will need to find breakfast elsewhere. American coffee In the morning is free and you must help yourself, but if you are in the mood for an actual breakfast or a fancy coffee of some sort, expect to wait: there is no longer table service – everyone queues up to order at a cashier, then is given a number, then must find a free seat somewhere at a table or the bar, and then must wait for them to bring you what was ordered.

All rooms have a hidden refrigerator, a COMFY chaise lounge that I would often fall asleep on, and a spacious bathroom. I stayed at this property for 14 days/13 nights and the staff was wonderful! The valets are polite and flexible (one had to come up late night to change the linens on someones bed & did a great job!), the front desk was more than willing to go above and beyond, there’s a complimentary evening wine hour and sometimes live music (acoustic guitars).

Rooms, views, close proximity to Westwood restaurants, movie theater 2 blocks away, close to Beverly Hills, customer service, pet-friendly (no additional charge), eco friendly, the decor, the lobby with fireplace, fitness center, complimentary morning coffee, tea and hot chocolate complete with white/dark chocolate shavings and a marshmallows and by far the CLEANEST hotel tub I’ve ever been in!

I have stayed in many Kimptons across the country and Palomars are by far my favorite brand. It was no surprise to me that this brand new hotel Palomar exceeded all of my expectations. Everyone was so warm and friendly, every time I had an encounter with a staff member they were always smiling and providing assistance.

There are a number of great hotels in LA, but i prefer to stay at one that is eco friendly and actively takes steps to help the environment.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful and the beds were amazing! I didn’t have a chance to eat in the restaurant, but I’m looking forward to stopping by on my next visit (and there will be a next visit!)

The hotel Palomar is a sheik, and sexy but not a place that I feel uncomfortable because it’s “too cool” for me! I can’t wait to come back.

Luxury linens, L’Occitane Bath products, High-speed WiFi, local certified organic Groundworks Coffee, Santa Monica Sips, 24 hour fitness center with Peloton bikes, EV and Tesla charging stations and a Tesla Model 3 house car service await all guests!
Appreciated the eco– consciousness and clean comfortable rooms. The downstairs living area is very welcoming and comfortable with a cozy fireplace and lots of seating. It is a great choice a bit away from the hustle of the downtown area. Love that they have free bikes to get around!
The staff and manager are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good, the area is nice and quiet and everything looks new and clean. I loved their environment protection policy and highly appreciated the eco-friendly take-away coffee cups :). For my taste two things could be improved: some fresh vegetables for breakfast and a window to open wide and really aerate the room. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely repeat it.

The newly remodeled, upscale, green, Eco-friendly, Boutique Hotel is off the beaten path, but right in the middle of a residential neighborhood, and has quite a few nice Restaurants within walking distance. This was great, as it eliminated the need to rent a car. Their own complimentary car service was such a bonus for us. It took us several times to the pier where the Tours began, and to the fancy Restaurants there. We mostly took the Uber back, and one day, we even walked back, since we were informed that it is a very safe place.

One of the best features of this place is the Staff. Everyone, from Manager Bill Shaw and all the people at the Front Desk, to the Driver and the Housekeeping are pleasant, polite, courteous, helpful and very welcoming. They made us feel like special guests throughout our stay.

The rooms are fairly large, the Beds are comfortable, the Bathrooms are very clean, and the amenities are basic, but adequate. The free Bikes were awesome to have whenever we required the exercise.

The complimentary Breakfast was good. There was everything from Bagels, Toast, Pastries, and Cakes to Fruits, Yogurts and Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate. True, that their selection was a little heavy on the carbs, but it was great to have something quick when one was always running around. The apples on the tables, and coffee all day in the library was a very nice touch.

Very rare to find an Eco hotel in a big city so this is a very nice find! It still presents itself as a VERY elegant hotel, for much less money than the pretentious ones around Santa Monica/Bel Air nearby. We will return for sure and look forward to visiting new locations of the same group if they ever expand.
