The property is beautiful, modern and yet earthy at the same time. I appreciated the efforts they make to be Eco– friendly and do so in a luxurious way. The beach is gorgeous, the sand soft and the water perfect. The King suite was massive and included a large living room, sectional couch and even extra bathroom. There were nice touches like the cute beach bag they give you and refillable water bottles that you can fill at the triple filtered spouts in your room.
The hotel has a lovely smell throughout, we even bought the candle they sell that is the same smell so we could take it home and enjoy it. The food offerings were delicious and included farm to table ingredients. The Tesla that can take you to close destinations was handy as well. I have stayed at many 5 star resorts and after coming here I can’t imagine staying anywhere else the next time we visit Miami Beach.
The rooms are beautifully appointed and very generous in size and carry that sea breeze, eco vibe that the hotel is trying to to achieve throughout.
This eco-friendly hotel features well-appointed, clean rooms and has many nice outdoor areas, several pools, a great fitness center, and direct access to the beach. But what really sets this hotel apart from others is the staff. Everyone was very helpful and responsive and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
The 1 hotel is spectacular and truly fascinating with all the eco friendly aspects. I loved the atmosphere at this hotel but I had an even better experience at the beach!

The rooms are large and comfortable, the food (esp the breakfasts) is great, there are three pools to choose from including a spectacular rooftop pool with great views of the ocean. This becomes very much part of the Miami scene at dusk with lots of beautiful people hanging out.

The hotel has great attention to detail – eg it seems their commitment to the environment is genuine and there were lots of eco touches and the place smelt great too. Service is very good too.

Location wise the hotel has a plum spot on South Beach next to a wide and good beach.

All in all a great base for business or pleasure.

From arrival to check in to a day at the beach or pool the ambiance and service are truly exceptional. There are so many of the team on the lobby floor observing and ready to assist you don’t have to search for assistance, it’s there whilst your still thinking about it!

Hotel – design and quality are high.
The entrance is better than any on the strip. We love the contemporary touches mixed with the eco friendly and use of nature… my favourite design is unlike any other hotel, on SB their pools and grounds are elevated so you can view the beach from the pools… the rooftop adults only pool is a great retreat with a unique view also.

Service – attentive, friendly, eager to please and genuinely interested in making your stay as good as it can be.
Rooftop Pool – Just cool. Think upscale Las Vegas. The team interact and fellow guests are all there to just have a great casual time with drinks, great service, cool music vibes and nice food. There are also several other fabulous pools to suit every need. No shortage of space to laze the day away….

Beach – The beach service is fantastic.

1 hotel is consistent with their quality and service ! I love their mission to be class=”_3f5ztoLj”>eco friendly. From the recyclable room keys to the Teslas shuttling guests within a 3 mile radius. Everyone is what to help . The valet , housekeeping, beach boys . They all are so polite. When we check in they say “Welcome home” and it’s feels like home . The spacious room , natural ambiance, clean scents are always so welcoming. Calling Guest Services is never an issue . Requests sent via the Cell phone app are always received and addressed promptly .

The lobby is a dream ! The gym is equipped for ANY training session ! They are above and beyond the best hotel on SOBE!

The building was beautiful and room was very clean. The toilet was awesomely eco-friendly, which I loved to see. Aveda products in the bathrooms was a nice treat.

This is how hotels should be. It is clean, the staff is friendly and the rooms are wonderful. The staff found out it was my birthday and I found a bottle of champagne in my room. The pool is wonderful and the grounds are well maintained. This hotel likes is an eco friendly hotel.

Pros:
Family friendly
– Nice rooms and decor
– Nice Bfast
– Most friendly beach and pool bar staff ever
– Nice but small spa
– Breakfast staff super friendly
– homegrown salads and eco friendly resort
– Good program and service from Concierge
– Great quiet location

This was our first time to Miami, we stayed here for three nights before a cruise. The hotel is nice and clean, lovely pool and beach. Staff very helpful. Loved the eco friendly touches, like the sink to wash your hands collected the water to flush the toilet. We had a lovely day by the pool and pool bar, great cocktails and bar staff work very hard. We did find Miami very expensive to eat out especially with the service charges added.

The guest rooms I have stayed in were very comfortable and clean, with modern bathrooms. The layout of our specific room this time was a bit difficult (too many bathroom doors, the awkward eco-sink on top of the toilet, the desk/bureau too close to the closet doors), but apart from showering and sleeping we were out and about, so not the biggest deal.

The front desk and concierge staff made excellent dining recommendations off-property; and the main restaurant on the property was worth staying on-site for — we all chose different starters, entrees and desserts and all were delicious and beautifully presented.

The Aveda Spa is thoughtful and restorative (the outdoor area of the relaxation room is extra special, post-treatment). I highly recommend Julia for massage therapies. She expertly crafted a customized experience combining the best of a Swedish massage and reflexology.

We wanted something away from the hustle, on the beach and close to the highways. This place hit it on all fronts. They even offer some great deals including some for Florida residents as most things and places on South Beach aren’t cheap. This helped as we wanted our car vs. taking Ubers/Taxis all over. The hotel has valet only which worked out fine for us.

The staff was great and grounds were nice and well taken care of. They charge a resort fee which included wifi & chairs on the beach + towels so you aren’t charged extra to rent an umbrella or chairs. The food and drinks were also good but can cost you.

If you are looking for a nice environment in South Beach on the water, you should definitely take a look at this place. We would certainly stay here again in the future. The rooms were clean modern and I witnessed by 1st eco-friendly toilet and sink combo there.

Revel in the generous living and dining areas of our oceanfront suites, ideal for entertaining.

Our luxury bi-level bungalows promote a sense of privacy and well-being with their plunge pools and serene terraces. Dining on the property is an exceptional experience, with restaurants developed by Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The Miami Beach hotel boasts two ocean-facing pools, a wellness spa with a gym, a nightclub, bowling alley and ice-skating rink.

The room is well designed with plenty of space to move around and lots of storage. Also, plenty of places to hang towels and clothes. I love the bathroom setup which allows two of us to get ready at the same time. The bluetooth speaker in the room was so great since we forgot to bring our own. The hotel is very generous with bottled water, which is so nice. They constantly provide new bottles (in eco-friendly bottles!) whenever they make up the room in the morning and at turn down. The gym was way better than the one I pay too much for in NYC and there were bottled waters there too.

The pool is lovely. The drinks are good. (Pricey, but yummy.)

The whole experience from the moment I arrived on Thursday night until I left was amazing. Everything from the food at Market and Matador to the drinks in the bar, to the staff at the beach was just wonderful. I found it lovely to spend a few days relaxing, and your hotel most certainly gave me the relaxation that I so badly needed.

The room that was assigned to me was simply gorgeous. I would say it was amazing. I had both an ocean view and a city view. It was really beautiful.

Pleasant, friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Attractive, up-to-date contemporary decor with very spacious room & bathroom. Great location. Excellent dining. Scenic views with convenient access to beach and two pool areas. More landscaping & vegetation than at many hotels, so the cabanas are secluded – ideal for guests who want more privacy &/or a quiet place to tuck a child down for a nap. Enjoyed adjacent beach-front path & boardwalk for a long run with ocean views.

Room:

The room itself was fine. Again, I don’t love the minimalist, tile and all white type of look, but it seems inescapable in Miami. I did feel the room could have used some freshening up. There was a stain on the ceiling, and the shower and bathroom area seemed to show their wear. At the price point we spent for the (higher rate) ocean view room at this very pricey hotel, I expect better maintenance.

Food:

The breakfast was excellent and we also had an amazing afternoon slice of confetti cake in that same little cafe.

Pool and beach:
I loved that the staff would coordinate finding guests seats to reserve by the pool so it wasn’t a mess trying to find a place to sit. Same for chairs at the beach, which was beautiful.

The pool itself was well maintained (I didn’t even see a single bug Or leaf) and the perfect warm temperature.

Other:

We had fun exploring the downstairs entertainment though I felt the ice skating rink was poorly maintained and honestly dangerous (and super expensive! $60 to ice skate even though we skated for all of 15 minutes). They should make the fee time-based rather than flat fee. But given the flat fee, that rink shouldn’t have wobbly guardrails and holes all over where you can trip. It was a fun idea though and I love the notion of a one-stop-shop: dinner and entertainment all in your hotel!

We were delighted to discover they were making complimentary snow cones in the afternoon. Very fun and refreshing!

Overall, we had a great time. The room could use updating but the rest of the spaces were lovely. Staff was great – very helpful and thoughtful. Food was great.
