The accommodation offers a sun terrace.

Bolton Landing is 47 km from Shoreham Inn, while Ticonderoga is 10 km from the property. The nearest airport is Rutland State Airport, 50 km from the inn.

Housed in a late 18th-century building and an adjacent 19th-century sheep barn, this eco-friendly inn is 3.1 miles from Lake Champlain and the New York/Vermont border.

The 10 individually decorated rooms with country-chic decor have private bathrooms, air-conditioning and WiFi, while stand out features in some include fireplaces, high beamed ceilings and patios. Those in the timber sheep barn are loft-style suites.

A full breakfast is included, and there’s an on-site gastropub. Free bike storage is available.

The Inn is a 200 year old building. It is a true country inn that maintains its aged charm of creaky, uneven floors and steep staircases. There is a main sitting room on the first floor as well as a pub, which offers dinner five nights a week. All of the rooms in the main house are located on the second and third floors.
The rooms are quaint yet comfortable, and each is uniquely decorated with its own private in-room bathroom, as well as individual air-conditioning units during warmer months. While there are no televisions in the inn, there is free wi-fi throughout the house. There are also plenty of games, puzzles, books and magazines that can be enjoyed in the main sitting room, sitting by the fireplace in the pub during the winter, or outside on the deck in the summer.
The Shoreham Inn is a member of the Vermont Green Business Program. As a Green Hotel, we offer eco-friendly amenities, and employ practices that are more sustainable for the environment.
The room was spacious, comfortable and updated. The main house was cozy and the breakfast was delicious! Each morning, we had fresh baked goods and a homemade breakfast to order. The owners were very friendly and accommodating hosts, who proved that there are still very kind people in this world! We look forward to visiting again.
The outside of this country inn may not have that “wow” factor, but it is charming inside. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. The public areas of the inn were comfortable and pleasantly decorated as well. The innkeeper, Molly, was very welcoming. We would go back.
Loved everything about this historic B&B…the beautiful exterior, the steep staircases, the sloping wooden floors, the warm and cozy bar. Most of all, the Inn Owners, Elizabeth and Andrew were amazing. So friendly and giving of their time – loved chatting with them and learning lots about Vermont and the inns and outs of running a B&B. The dinner and breakfast were delicious too!! Such a unique experience – loved it!

. Our room overlooking the marina was spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and spotless. Even with a wedding going on, staff was attentive to all visitors and we heard no noise in our room at all.

We enjoyed the heated outdoor saltwater pool, although it’s somewhat smaller than I expected for laps.

We also used the fitness room, which had a lot of treadmills, 2 bikes (1 reclining, which we both used and considered very comfortable) and 2 stair steppers (not ellipticals), as well as lots of machines. Each bike-treadmill-stepper had its own tv and I really appreciated that the woman in charge was able to lend me a pair of headphones, as I hadn’t thought to bring my own.

We didn’t end up using the bikes, but it’s a fine area to use them. The timing just didn’t work out.

Plenty to see in the area. Not too far from Mystic, beaches, other nice shore towns, shopping. But we were happy on Main Street in Old Saybrook, enjoyed a crafts fair, excellent dinner at Val’s Oyster House, frozen yogurt, and breakfast the next day at Mirsina’s.

My only quibble was that in the eco-conscious Inn that the water pressure is really low. Honestly I took off a star because it’s more expensive than I hoped. That’s subjective, of course and it’s high season, so that’s the way it goes.

This is a lovely location on the water. Our room had views of the docks and the Long Island sound, really pretty. They have a wonderful multi-level patio area with clever seating arrangements and lots of pyramid heaters. Even saw a few brave people swimming in the outdoor pool on that remarkably mild Thanksgiving weekend.

The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The location of the inn was perfect! The view of Long Island Sound and the Connecticut River was breathtaking. Our room was quite nice, spacious with water views. The staff was very accommodating and professional. The spa was lovely and I engaged in a very relaxing aromatherapy swedish massage. Completely decadent!

The town was quaint, and we took advantage of the nearby venue, “The Kate” (named for Katharine Hepburn and contains lots of her memorabilia). We visited the town of Essex and took a foliage ride along the Connecticut River on the Essex Steam Train- a very nice take.

We plan on visiting Old Saybrook again in the not so distant future, and will be sure to make the Saybrook Point Inn and Spa our venue of choice.

Christmas Farm Inn and Spa is a historic country Inn with a state-of-the-art spa, offering dining and lodging in Jackson, New Hampshire. Our 15 acre campus is the perfect retreat to enjoy the amenities of the Mt. Washington Valley.

Our experience was incredible. We stayed in the main inn – full of history and character. The most comfortable beds (seriously, we travel a lot, best ever), great toiletries, amazing staff (friendly, courteous, fun), beautiful grounds. Indoor pool was fantastic with well-stocked changing rooms and a great adjoining fitness center. We had dinner at their restaurant our first night – excellent food, well presented, great service. Breakfast is included and cooked to order – very, very good.

My favorite was the jacuzzi tub and fire place of course since it got chilly at night. The fireplace was perfect place sit and relax from the world. We can not wait to go back again. Love it! We wish we didn’t have to leave. Our stay included breakfast with reservations at check in. It was delicious and every staff we meet was friendly and nice. Very easy to find and get around. We did lots of exploring as well. Our first time to the White Mountains was amazing and beautiful 10+. We will be back soon.

ocking in the beautiful rockers, basking in the March sunshine, and breathing in the nice fresh air. The cottage was very spacious, and clean. We own Timeshares and have traveled all over staying in Condos, and the couch in the living room here was more comfortable than any of the couches in our recent stays. The bed was extremely comfy, and the linens were crisp and clean. Dinner was excellent, and our server Josh, was just delightful and kept checking in on us all throughout our meal. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. I had eggs benedict, and my hubby had some excellent old fashioned oatmeal, with brown sugar and raisins.

There was a side table where you could help yourself to cereals, yogurt, granola, homemade muffins, homemade pumpkin bread, and fresh fruit. Breakfast was included with the room charge and was a very pleasant experience.

Decor retains the antique feel of the building while offering a wall mounted flat screen TV, plenty of outlets for charging electronics, and a relatively modern and nice sized bathroom. Despite being located at the top of the stairs, the room was quiet, it also offers lots of natural light. Bed and pillows weren’t the most comfortable but we’ve certainly experienced worse.

A delicious breakfast was included with the stay offering several menu choices (had an omelet both mornings) promptly served by a pleasant and helpful staff (don’t forget to leave a tip). We’ve stayed here several times in the past and are definitely glad we made another return trip.
