Built in a large raised garden, this wooden house offers all the latest ecological innovations : renewable energies for a zero carbon house, Japanese toilets, tile purifying the air, terraces… Only 3 rooms and 2 suites in this amazing guesthouse. Luxury, calm and voluptuousness in the heart of Paris.

The location is convenient enough with a great bus just outside that takes you to the Marais and onwards, and a subway station close by as well.

The Hotel itself is charming, with a peaceful garden, interior designs inspired by the 50ies and 60ies, and smelling wonderfully of fresh wood.

The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom was so beautiful that we had to photograph it…

The breakfast is set up in the charming kitchen and is small but with everything you need (fresh coffee, bread, butter, jam, cheeses, ham, fruit salad, yoghurt and croissants…). Everything was of great quality and presented with love and care.

The staff is equally lovely!

Hotel is nicely hidden behind two massive doors. It’s like a nice kinder surprise 🙂

Very eco friendly hotel, nice and comfortable design. Surprisingly big bath, surely for two 🙂 Japanese loo!

Clean, comfortable bed, really good and rich breakfast. Friendly and helpful personnel. Lots of places to eat or go out around.

After the Old Red door, there was another wooden door across the hall which she opened with a key card. When the door opened we entered a green Oasis in the middle of Paris. There is a massive Pine Tree welcoming you and plenty of more plants. On the left hand side this beautiful old house and at the back of the garden a Grand Design master piece (the building we were going to be sleeping in).

The place was introduced to us from the common areas (lobby, kitchen, central garden) to our room upstairs. Great big room with the most comfortable bed, very clean and to our delight a massive bath that could have fit the both of us comfortably (although we didn’t have time to try it) and the best of all East meets West….. a Japanese loo. I have never seen one of those out of Japan so if you have been to Japan you know what I am talking about… the top experience in loo visiting.

The building has just been completed, smells still new. The breakfast was so French and beautifully served. Frederique is an amazing hostess. Always available but letting you go on your own time and space.

We just wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended. Metro station is just about 5 min walk. It is not in the centre of Paris but it takes about 20 min by metro to get there. we loved the area as you can have a proper Paris experience with a market on Saturdays and all.

Don’t wait any longer to book your stay at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel and immerse yourself in one of Paris’s most prestigious districts.
Pullman hotels seem to vary greatly but this one served us well and was a stone’s throw from the Eiffel tower. I like to support those hotels that are trying to implement eco friendly practices as it makes a real difference on larger scales. On multi-day stays, Pullman practices Planet 21, whereby you place a dedicated card on your pillow only if you want your linens to be changed. If you don’t mind skipping the service for your room for the day and want to support the planet, receive a ten euro voucher to enjoy in the Victor Bar or Restaurant. You don’t have room service at home, do you? Enjoy a cocktail instead!
We had a deluxe room with a king bed and an Eiffel Tower view. Granted, you cannot see the tower unless you go out on the balcony, and you need to stand to the left of the balcony to get a great view, but it is a view of the Eiffel Tower in all her glory. There are not chairs and a table on the balcony as you might expect, so that was a bit disappointing. If you like soft beds, this may not be the hotel for you.
Booked a deluxe balcony room with Eiffel view. The room exceeded our expectations. The king bed was very comfortable, the room and bathroom very spacious and the balcony had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. Seeing the tower lit up and sparkling at night and waking up to it was something we will never forget.
A nice hotel located very very close to Eiffel Tower. Nice big modern rooms and bathroom. Comfy big bed. The lady in the reception was very polite, helpful and tried to satisfy all our requests. The food on the restaurant average, room service slow, WiFi amazing. Walking distance to Metro and a lot of taxis and Uber drivers outside of the hotel, so it was easy to move around Paris.

3. Grand Hôtel Du Palais Royal 4* – Green Hotels Paris France

Grand Hôtel Du Palais Royal
Grand Hôtel Du Palais Royal

Set within an 18th-century building, the Grand Hotel is located in the heart of Paris, 200 m from the Louvre museum and Tuileries Gardens. It features fine works of art, a spa by Carita, à la carte restaurant and 24-hour reception.

The designer rooms at Grand Hotel Palais Royal include a minibar, free Wi-Fi, en suite facilities and a HD flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some rooms have a balcony with views Paris’ monuments.

Grand Hôtel Du Palais Royal serves a daily American-style buffet breakfast, which can be taken in the guest room upon request. Guests can also enjoy fine dining in the restaurant or relax with a drink in the hotel’s bar.

Housed in an 18th-century building, this posh hotel opposite the Palais Royal is a 2-minute walk from the Musée du Louvre.

The bright, luxe rooms (some with balconies) feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, as well as en suite bathrooms with designer toiletries. Suites add Nespresso machines and separate living rooms. There’s also an opulent penthouse suite with a furnished terrace.

An airy restaurant serves contemporary French cuisine. Champagne and afternoon tea are available in the lounge/bar. There’s also a full-service spa, a 24-hour exercise room and a steam room.

Ideally located between the Louvre Museum and the Opera house, opposite the Palais Royal gardens, this 5 star hotel, a refined cocoon beautifully decorated by the renowned Pierre-Yves Rochon, is a must-visit address in the heart of Paris. Behind its majestic facade listed as a historical monument, the hotel counts 68 rooms and suites, some with spectacular views of Paris, a restaurant, a bar (after work, tea time), a meeting room, a fitness center with Turkish bath and a Spa with a double cabin.

This hotel was outstanding. It has everything one might find in any exceptional hotel…. nice lobby; good small bar for after dinner drinks; tasty breakfast buffet; very nice workout facilities with a steam room; and, of course very comfortable rooms with very contemporary baths and excellent toiletries.

But what really makes an outstanding hotel is an outstanding staff. This team was more than just friendly and very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect. Great directions, great recommendations for dinner, and many offers to help with bags, luggage, cabs, etc.

This hotel is also very conveniently located near many restaurants, the Louvre and many other attractions.

The Grand Hotel du Palais Royal was an excellent choice, from start to finish.

There are two reasons to recommend this hotel: First, it’s a stone’s throw away from the Louvre (and thus the river), and a fairly short walk from many other sites and interesting neighborhoods. We easily walked to and from the Marais district, for instance. We also walked south to a variety of shops and galleries.

But beyond the location, the hotel really lived up to its name when it comes to service: The staff was, without exception, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about what to do and how to do it. I want to particularly point out the phenomenal concierge, who knew about current museums and exhibits, including what is and isn’t currently open. He arranged tickets at a jazz club and restaurant reservations for us, as well.

Our room wasn’t tiny, but it wasn’t huge — but our aim wasn’t to stay in the room, but rather to explore adjoining areas of Paris. The fact that the hotel adjoins a small, one-way street and a courtyard makes it extremely quiet.

We had the breakfast buffet one morning, and it was more than satisfying to the two of us, even with our restrictions as vegetarians. The service and food quality was top-notch, as expected. However, the price (50 euros/person) was a bit steep — so we had breakfast one morning, and bought bread, cheese, and vegetables at a local supermarket the next day. There are so many nearby bakeries and markets that this was not an issue at all.

The “tea room,” a nook in the basement where you can get tea and small snacks 24 hours a day, was a very nice touch. The exercise room and hamam both seemed quite good, but we were so busy going out that we didn’t have a chance to enjoy them.

All in all, we’re delighted with our decision to stay at this hotel, and recommend it highly to others.

A very nice, luxury hotel. This is the second time we’ve visited. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for an eco-conscious option, and if you’re not, the hotel is still one of the best in Paris in our opinion.

Hidden Hotel is one of the better hotels in the city center of Paris. The rooms are very charming and comfortable and the whole hotel has a certain “eco” twist to it. The bed was one of the better beds I have ever slept in (usually I find it difficult to fall asleep in a new bed for the first time, but that was not a problem this time).

The bathroom is comfy and has a great shower. The staff is very welcoming (showing me around as it was my first visit) and friendly. Breakfast is certainly one of the attractions of the hotel: a lot of options, everything freshly made with quality products. It goes without saying that it does not come cheap, but if you manage to arrange a special deal, it should be affordable.

The Hotel is really beautiful , very cozy and Eco friendly, the food at the breakfast is delicious and we ate there every single morning.

It is well located just couple of minutes by walk to all the main attractions,

The heart of this place is its staff whom are very helpful and who will pamper you from the moment you check in till the check out.

A few blocks away from the Arc de Triomphe, the location was awesome. The street it is on is quiet even though you are so close to the Champs-Elysees. The staff are so sweet, they all speak English perfectly. And if you want to practice your French, they are very accommodating.

The style is very rustic and eco-friendly, it is nicknamed “The Chalet”. Your room will look exactly like the pictures. Can’t wait for our next trip, will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are not the biggest, but you are in Paris and most rooms in Paris are small so this is just normal. The decoration at the hotel and rooms are very natur’ish and super calming.
Eco-friendliness are one of the hotels key drivers and got to give them a big plus for this.

The ambience is welcoming, trendy and eco-conscious. The staff is young, very efficient and high class, without ever being pretentious – they made me feel genuinely welcome.

. I fell in love with this hotel online and in person as well. It’s in a safe place near the Arc de Triomphe. It’s a small hotel but very personable with friendly staff 24 hours. It’s not always easy to find friendly staff in Paris. The art and decor were very rustic yet modern. The rooms were small yet comfortable and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and elegant with drapes around it. It’s an Eco friendly hotel.

There is a cute little bar on the first floor that you can relax and enjoy a drink as well as snacks they have out for the guests. There are many restaurants located within walking distance from this hotel. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for something smaller and affordable. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Paris.

5. Solar Hotel 2* – Eco Friendly Hotels Paris

Solar Hotel
Solar Hotel

Green and ecological, the Solar Hotel is only a 2-minute walk from the Catacombs Museum and 100 m from Denfert Rochereau Metro Station, in the 14th arrondissement. Free bicycles, a pleasant garden and organic breakfast are proposed.

All rooms are air-conditioned and feature a wardrobe, flat-screen TV and desk. They also have a private bathroom.

A full French breakfast with organic products is served each morning at Solar Hotel. Guests can dine in one of the many restaurants located within walking distance of the accommodation.

This modern budget hotel is a 5-minute walk from Denfert-Rochereau metro/RER station and a 15-minute walk from the Jardin du Luxembourg.

The vibrant, simply furnished rooms offer TVs with satellite channels.

Continental breakfast is included and served in a relaxed dining room. There are also guest computers, plus a courtyard garden and free bike rentals.

89€ for both single and double rooms Solar Hotel is the first low-cost urban ecological hotel. In this spirit we have a single price for all our rooms and it includes not only breakfast but also access to computers, internet, phones and bicycles. 89€ for either a single or a double room, with absolutely everything included!

In a city known for expensive hotels, this very reasonably priced hotel was such a great find! It’s eco-friendly, it’s small, and the price is unbeatable. Breakfast (a roll and croissant with butter and jam) is included. There is one very slow elevator so I just used the stairs most of the time and it was fine.

The location is fantastic, too. When I booked, I noticed it was close to a train and metro station which goes directly to the center which was very important to me. What I didn’t realize until I arrived is that it is just off of a pedestrian-only street lined with restaurants, bakeries, and specialty food shops (seafood, cheese, wine, fruit, etc), which gave the whole area a very cool neighborhood vibe rather than being touristy.

We just loved our stay at the hotel and we were blown out about their eco-friendly practices. Very nice staff and breakfast. I wish they could have had vegan options, fresh fruits, nut butter and soy milk or other alternatives to milk. Also, you have their fridge and teas, hot water, kitchen stuff at your availability if needed. Having bikes available for free was a saver to our journey touring Paris, but be careful with this crazy traffic! Great central location, with metro station close buy, that got you straight to the airport, locals cafes, restaurants, bakery, supermarkets and markets at walkable distance.
This hotel was a breath of fresh air, friendly, nice rooms, good breakfast and close to everything. I have already given the details out to friends.
To the person who says it is a B&B, clearly you don’t understand French hotels only international ones and french Breakfasts are what you get there, Croissant and bread with coffee.
I just wish there were more eco hotels around.
There are bicycles for use and nice tables to sit at and read. The breakfast is included with some of the best croissants I’ve ever tasted. The service is friendly and the entire hotel is spotless.
The hotel is about a block from Denfert-Rochereau with RER-B service to Charles de Gaulle airport. In addition, it is a central metro station with connections to other connecting lines. There is also a market street one-half block away. We will be booking into this eco-hotel again.
