Room:
The room was spacious and well-lit, with a cozy ambiance created by the soft lighting and warm color scheme.
Our reservation was for a Large Double Room, specifically the “Copper Beech” room, which ended up being the highlight of our stay. The bed was absolutely amazing and provided a restful night’s sleep. Along with complimentary robes and a hairdryer, we were also provided with toiletries. It was also a nice touch to find ear buds, a shower cap, and ladies’ sanitary products in a jar under the sink. As an added bonus, there were bottles of still and sparkling water as well as cookies waiting for us in the room upon arrival. The only downside was the lack of an iron (although I’m sure reception could provide one if requested) and no air conditioning in the rooms. However, this aligns with their eco-friendly approach and may be uncomfortable during hotter months.
Breakfast/Service:
The fantastic service at this hotel truly sets it apart. Our breakfast was conveniently brought to our room at 9 and 9:30am, with the staff handling any issues promptly. They even provided us with more water when we ran out. While the breakfast itself was mediocre, my boyfriend’s dish (pictured) was decent and my hot chocolate was delicious. He also raved about his poached egg. However, we were disappointed that toast was not included as we assumed it would be. Despite this, I highly recommend this well-maintained hotel for its amazing staff. The only areas for improvement would be the air conditioning and breakfast (as mentioned above). If we return to Bournemouth, we will definitely choose to stay here again.
Having the option of staying somewhere that allows you to feel guilt-free about your stay is a real blessing for eco-conscious travellers. For this reason, I loved the Green House, since all the food and drink was local, and the furniture was even constructed from fallen trees! It has beehives on the roof, it has its own vegetable garden, etc. All of this and it’s still a luxurious hotel. I love it.
The Green House Hotel is a stunning venue, standing beautifully on the Dorset Coastline. The effort that the GHH team has gone to make their hotel so eco friendly is amazing, more hotels should be run as well as this one.
What a wonderful relaxing night at the Green house Hotel. Such attention to detail. All the rooms are personalised with names of trees. The rooms are calming and exceptionally clean. I love how the room information book explains in great detail how eco-friendly they are.
The bar is extremely well-stocked and the staff are attentive and very welcoming. The front outside bar area has been well thought-out with detail to seating. Following day breakfast was delicious and yet again the staff were very attentive. I could not recommend more for anyone to stay to receive such welcoming.

Excellent stay in this gorgeous boutique hotel in St Ives. Beautifully ‘Scandi meets Coastal’ styled, extraordinary attention to detail in every aspect. Luxurious rooms, attentive first class service from owners Angela & Olivier and front of house Kate, and top notch breakfast prepared with real finesse. The small lounge is a sanctuary, bright breakfast room in the mornings and turns into an atmospheric candle lit lounge bar in the evenings. Far exceeded expectation and up there with the top rate boutique hotels we have stayed in.

Perfect base in centre of St Ives for a few days away. Angela and Olivier (and all the other staff) were very welcoming. The hotel room was charmingly put together and there is a huge emphasis on small details to make your stay more comfortable including tea and cake on arrival, chilled water in the room, evening bed turndown service complete with homemade chocolates and candles and absolutely delicious offerings for breakfast.

Trevose Harbour House is the nicest boutique hotel that I’ve ever seen. It’s style is absolutely gorgeous, a mix of Scandinavian design with a few Moroccan hints all in blue and white, which make you then think of Greece and of the sea… The neat simplicity, cleanness and coziness made me feel happy. The service is excellent, the breakfast menu offers a few very tempting exotic options next to the classics – I would have loved to try all of them.

The whole house is decorated in a lovely mid century modern style with a fresh blue and white colour palette throughout. Our room was beautiful, light and airy and luxurious too. Neals yard toiletries in the bathroom added an extra touch of luxury!
The breakfasts were amazing, such an original menu of deliciousness, breakfast was a meal to savour and enjoy every morning. We felt like welcome guests, and have already booked to go back next year. If you are thinking of staying at Trevose, just do it.

There was lovely little toiletries, modern in style for use in the bathroom and we were advised we could request more if needed free of charge at reception.

There was a glass bottle of the water than the hotel extract from the land themselves (they have won an award for their eco efforts!) and I must say it was very lovely to drink and really added a personal touch to the room.

On arrival we received a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room. In the room was a real coffee machine and In the bathroom a jacuzzi bath with a tv! One top tip would be not to put too much bubble bath in as you may be having a foam party! Room was so comfortable.. we also had breakfast both mornings and again so much choice, fresh and the staff are absolutely lovely.

Fabulous hotel in the most beautiful surroundings. Lovely location, beautiful gardens.
Stayed in the newly refurbished Deluxe room . Spacious, spotlessly clean and fabulous stylish bathroom.

Bed very comfortable so had a great few nights sleep .Staff friendly and incredibly helpful
Value for money and will definitely be returning. Would recommend eating at the hotel as food was some of the best I have ever tasted! Plenty of choices for Vegetarians. Very reasonably priced and lovely breakfast choices.

This hotel has some astonishing views, which may accompany your meal at breakfast or at dinner!

The decor is dated, however, it is cosy and inviting for a relaxed evening!

The staff are amazing and go an extra mile to ensure that you have a wonderful stay at the hotel!

The spa facilities are very modern in comparison and are worthy of a visit!

From the moment we checked in we felt at home. The receptionist greeted us and showed us all around the hotel and offered to help us with our luggage to the room. She went through all the hotels facilities and was very knowledgeable. The hotel itself is an old house that has modern features and elements throughout. The spa was lovely and looked very modern.

This was much needed after a few days exploring the Lake District. The views from the hotel are completely unspoilt and I have never seen such beautiful rose gardens which are all located in and around the hotel grounds. These can be viewed whilst eating breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. The food in the bistro was delicious, however the absolute showstopper was the restaurant food.

We both have never tasted food like it and have recommend this hotel to all our family and friends. A return visit is on the cards and can’t wait to come back. Thank you to all the staff and chefs there that made our stay so enjoyable.

During our stay in the eco pod, we were pleased to find that it was a cozy space equipped with everything we needed. 5. Landal Gwel an Mor – Eco Friendly Hotels UK

Landal Gwel an Mor
Landal Gwel an Mor

This airy countryside resort with eco-chic pine lodges is 3 miles from Heartlands Cornwall park and 5 miles from Carn Brea Castle.

The Scandinavian-style lodges with stylish decor feature kitchens, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi, as well as furnished sundecks. Some have hot tubs and barbecue grills.

There’s a Mediterranean restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Other amenities include an indoor pool and a spa, as well as a sauna, a steam room and a gym. Walking paths, tennis courts and rental bikes are also available.

Pulling back the curtains to sea views. Slipping into the warm bubbles of your private hot tub. Breathing in the fresh salty sea air. We know it’s the small details that add up to the perfect holiday, that’s why the aim of our day, is to make yours. From discovering a complimentary chilled bottle of wine in your lodge fridge when you arrive to plump pillows piled high on sumptuous beds, we will have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated from the moment we say hello.
Sea views are literally the name of our game – Gwel an Mor is Cornish for ‘view of the sea’. From high above the beautiful beach and fishing village of Portreath just 15 miles from Falmouth and St Ives, every five-star luxury lodge looks out across the dramatic Atlantic Ocean. From stormy winter days to calm summer evenings with soft breezes playing in the trees, the view is always changing but constantly captivating.
We stayed in a beautiful eco lodge which was sparking clean with lovely modern and fresh decor. A great size kitchen and amazing for self catering with huge cupboards and all you need to cook meals. We loved the whole place – a gorgeous deck and brilliant hot tub and outdoor space too.
From the moment we arrived and checked in, to exploring our “Stargazy” Residence eco assisted luxury lodge.
We can’t thank the staff enough for looking after us and the attention to fine detail was just phenomenal. Absolutely spotless and felt safe.
it was stunning inside and out, the decor was just beautiful and it was very well equipped and immaculately clean on arrival, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and a bottle of wine provided, a lovely touch after a long journey.

Our lodge had a hot tub and the views down the valley to the sea were awesome as was the sound of the waves whilst sat on the verandah having a morning coffee. The site where the eco residences are located appears to be a new part of the resort and they are very well laid out and surrounded by beautiful planting, positioned so none really overlook each other, making it very pretty and private.

The eco residences are clearly eco friendly and are warm and well insulated with underfloor heating.

This is the perfect place to stay if you’re wanting a 5 star facility, with great views, lots of walking, sports and activities, in reach of a number of Cornish hotspots.

It probably takes about 25/30 minutes to get into St Ives from here but, in actual fact, we were grateful for the quiet in comparison to the centre’s usual hustle and bustle. Similarly, there’s a great little cove just a miles walk away from the site. If you want beautiful beaches, they’re only a stones throw away.

The accommodation we stayed in, was a two person eco-lodge by the lake. It was finished to the highest standard and was the perfect home from home – not to mention the personal touches they had to make you feel welcome.

Would absolutely recommend!
