1. Hotel Martin’s Relais Brugge – Gay Friendly Hotel Brugge

Offering free WiFi, Martin’s Relais provides rooms with original features and antique furniture in 5 historic 17th-century canal houses. The hotel benefits from a peaceful rose garden and several comfortable lounges within 450 m from the Market Square and the Belfry.

Satellite TV, a minibar and a work desk are provided in the rooms at Relais. Each of the rooms has been uniquely decorated and includes a modern bathroom with luxurious toiletries. All rooms offer coffee and tea facilities.

The cosy bar serves local Belgian beers both inside and out on the terrace in summer. Martin’s Relais also offers a breakfast buffet with cava in the grand breakfast room.

The hotel was within walking distance of the main square. It is an old building and requires lots of maintenance and care.

As well it is located in a quiet canal side street so away from the noise and revelry of the Main Square but still less than 5 minutes walk from it.

This hotel is an amazing find not far from the main Market square and right in the medieval splendour that is Bruges. It is beautifully furnished with antique furniture and paintings throughout the common spaces and the rooms, which added to the feel of being in a medieval city.

Situated in the historical canal house right in the heart of Brugge, Martin’s Relais Hotel is a very classy place with antique furniture, canal and garden views, breakfast with bubbles.

The rooms have nice artwork on the walls and antique furniture as well as a TV and a massive bathroom with two sinks.

The bathroom is huge and modern with a fabulous walk in shower. The room itself was spacious with a very comfortable bed.  Bathroom is little compact but all the things you need there for you. Rooms are warm and had nice garden view.

Spacious rooms are very comfortable bed overlooking canal. Lounge and bar area on the ground floor luxurious and welcoming with glowing fireplace.

The breakfasts are as good as any we have seen, with hot options like eggs, bacon, and sausages, as well as a complete buffet of cold options like cheeses, cold meats, juices, fresh fruits, yogurt, fresh baked croissants, etc. And of course there is PROSECCO to make wonderful Mimosas! The service in the restaurant is excellent – the buffet well topped up even if it was near the end of the breakfast time, fresh, sparkling linen and very helpful and efficient staff

The staff are friendly and polite and its location is ideal for accessing all the sights, but Brugge is only a small city after all.
