Guide to Gay Friendly Hotels in Dubai

Dubai is a holiday paradise for shopping and night & parties activities. There are plenty of Gay Friendly Hotels Dubai.

Dubai is not very gay friendly at all when it’s comes to law,  lacking any comprehensive pro LGBT legislation. But despite this, Dubai can be the perfect holiday for gay couples!Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights are heavily suppressed in the emirates of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras al-Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, Fujairah and Sharjah, which together form the United Arab Emirates. All sexual relations outside a heterosexual marriage is a crime. Punishments range from jail time, fines and deportation if you are a non-citizen.

Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. Burj Khalifa, an 830m-tall tower, dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline. At its foot lies Dubai Fountain, with jets and lights choreographed to music. On artificial islands just offshore is Atlantis, The Palm, a resort with water and marine-animal parks.

It’s close to the airport, lots of restaurants around, great rooms, and most importantly excellent service.

The hotel is a major resort with different swimming pools and walking areas during the day and restaurants, bars and even a disco for the night. Still it can be purely relaxing and one can have a rest by the pool listening to the birds around.

The rooms are great and are  fitted with a jacuzzi, massage chair a huge bed and a none nice touch was a night cap left for me by the turn down service – a miniature bottle of Cognac.

The advantage of booking a club room is that it comes with a many complimentary extras, i.e. Afternoon tea, serving sandwiches, cakes, with tea and coffee. Come 6.30 p.m. happy hour take off with complimentary alcoholic and no alcoholic drinks served along with canapés. If you are not a big eater, you could be satisfied with what was on offer

The other main pools are nearby and have swim up bars which is an excellent feature. Combine these excellent facilities with the huge choice of restaurants, most with big terraces and this is a hotel which you don’t really need to leave!

The highlight was the free breakfast buffet with a mix of international food islands. An incredible variety, fresh products, from healthy to hearty.

The hotel is very quiet as it is off the main road that is Omar Bin Al-Khattab Road (D88). It is on 38th Street which meets the above main road near the metro station. The location is in old Dubai known as Deira which is famous for its age-old markets (called souks). You can  prefer the location because if wanted to explore old Dubai part of the city.

The service is excellent, professional and helpful.

Room was quite dated and basic but was clean. No tea/coffee maker, but a freeze was in the room.  Great air conditioning system, the temperature of which you can control yourself. The on-site restaurant has a large selection of offerings for breakfast at reasonable prices.
