The room is a little too small for us, who is traveling with two luggages. We had to “reconfigure” the room by shifting the chairs and table around so that we can only our luggages and also having the walking room. In general, the room is clean and comfortable. But the facilities are a little outdated and seems old. There are also not enough electrical plugs for us to charge our phones and camera batteries.
The staff are very nice and helpful, and it is always a pleasure to be greeted with an “Ohayo gozaimasu” in the morning as you head out for sightseeing. Overall, it is a great place, expect for the small space.
5 star rating for the location, reason why I recommended this hotel to my friends. Umeda Station is right below the property, while Osaka Station is nearby. The airport buses to and from Itami and Kansai also stop right outside the front door.

The location of the hotel is just magic! It is only a short walk from the Kyobashi station which is literally 2 stops away from Osaka station on the JR Loop Line. Beside the station is a underground supermarket called Dacai – which is brilliant for food – they have their own bakery, deli and sell fresh fruit and vegetables and also pre-packaged food such as Sushi, Gyzoa, Kebabs, Pizza and loads of Bento boxes!
There is a family mart 24 hrs open daily with very yummy bento boxes for lunch and dinner very close to the hotel.
A place to experience true hospitality. The hotel is designed to emulate the ever evolving city of Osaka through a modern design inspired by the Art Deco of American cities such as Boston, Chicago and New York. Through the use of Deco design, visible in the architecture and furnishings, the hotel maintains its own unique character amidst the skyscrapers of the Osaka Business Park.

This hotel offers excellent price value for Japan. The rooms are bigger than what you would expect in this price range and the breakfast buffet, although not extensive, is of high quality food. Service is decent as you would expect.
There are no facilities like gym or pool.
The location is mostly good, as it is close to several subway lines and has 2 convenience stores in vicinity. Other than that it is within a business area, so don’t expect bustling narrow streets. Osaka castle is in walking distance (15min).
The atmosphere, the rooms and the great and friendly staff are just adorable. Osaka Castle within walking distance, subway and train station nearby and great nightlife just around the corner. The Ofuro (Japanese bath) is very pleasant with a great old style restroom.
But be careful, the restroom (not separated according to gender) may only be entered modestly dressed or in a bathrobe. If it happens to you like that, that you will enter the rest room only with entwined towels, then you will be asked very politely and discreetly to dress and to return accordingly.
The beds are comfortable and there offer free bed clothes provided which is great!
There is a convenience store within the hotel premises. Mcdonald’s outlet is close by about 2 minute walk from the hotel. Access to Business Park and Osaka Castle is very easy, and within walking distance. The Japanese is beautiful – the seaweed salad, miso soup, rice porridge, sui mai, takoyaki, soft boiled egg with ponzu sauce, natto, spring greens, carrot and other vegetables in dashi stock and noodles.
