There are a lot of nearby attractions you can access on foot, which was nice because it gave us a chance to walk and take in the sights on our way to places like the Royal Palace and riverfront walk. It’s worth walking to the Central Market, too, even though it’s a bit further. Be prepared to haggle 🙂 The Russian Market has slightly more authentic merchandise.
The hotel is nicely located in a small alley behind the Fine Arts Institute. The Blue Lime is centrally located in the city but is also quieter than expected as it is in a small alley.
Rooms are kept well. And was pretty surprised how good value for money they are, especially you can get a private pool in some of them. The room are great, clean, and very welcoming.
Breakfast in the pool area was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold and fruit. There is a limited selection – but I enjoyed the fruit, fresh French bread and pastries. There was a slo a menu for eggs, fried noodles etc
If the private pool in the room isn’t enough, the pool that serves as the hotel’s centrepiece has some comfortable loungers.

The swimming pool area is lovely and the pool quite cold and refreshing which is a change for a swimming pool in Asia. Likely due to the proximity of tall buildings situated around the hotel which is nestled in a small alley. The grounds and pool area a tropical paradise and very welcoming after a day out and about.
