The rooms are clean and airy. Breakfast is good and they serve free tea and coffee during the day and free wine in the evening till 8pm. The hotel is interestingly decorated particularly the breakfast room. The buffet breakfast offers a good range of foods although the coffee was decidedly average. Staff were efficient rather than friendly.
Located in William Gladstone street, the hotel is about a 90 second walk from Vitosha Blvd, so its location is pretty much perfect for the centre of Sofia. I was there on a three day business trip; check in was efficient, and I as soon on my way to the room on the first floor. This was the only time I used the lift, otherwise the stairs were just as quick. The room was a good size: ample storage; decent sized desk and television; efficient aircon and good wifi. The en-suite was again well sized and very clean. Good shower. There was even an umbrella supplied, very useful to cope with the July rainstorms.
Breakfast is served from 07:30 in a lower floor dining room, which would be my only criticism as it’s a bit late to fit in with some business schedules. Breakfast was good though. I was very impressed that from 1100-2100, a terrace bar was open with complimentary coffee, juices cakes and pastries. The terrace was a nice spot to sit outside with some shady spots for refuge from the sun. I took advantage of it to write a report, not difficult as it was a quiet, calm oasis from the city. In the evening, beer or wine was complimentary too.

The shower is large and the bathroom is clean. Furnishings and manchester are a good quality. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is excellent with lots of homemade options. I highly recommend this place. Breakfasts were fresh and varied although with not a huge choice but we were perfectly happy with them. The staff were friendly and spoke very good English, it was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and lovely hot shower.
