5. Las Arenas Balneario Resort Valencia – Gay Friendly Hotel Valencia

This luxury 5* hotel is 2 minutes walk from the beach. This 5-star resort has a superb seafront location with direct access to Valencia’s Las Arenas Beach. The Las Arenas Balneario Resort features 2 seasonal outdoor pools surrounded by loungers, and a luxurious spa.
All rooms at this design hotel are elegantly decorated with neutral colours. They include free Wi-Fi and a 32-inch flat-screen TV.
The hotel is a member of the leading hotels of the world.
This hotel is very fancy, and it’s good for people looking to go to the beach. It is nowhere near the city–if you want to spend time in Valencia proper, do not stay here! The hotel has a pool which you can use for free, and there is direct access to the beach as well.
This hotel is huge 200 plus rooms over 4 floors, spread over a large campus which is also home to a large conference venue. It was built on the site of a traditional 19th-century balneario and was the first grand hotel in the Valencia region. The hotel’s beachfront location delivers ocean views and some accommodations have a private balcony or terrace with spectacular garden and sea views. Be specific, the rooms at front side of the hotel have views over a main road and no where to sit outside.
The rooms are nice; very spacious with plenty of spots to put luggage. You have to pay extra for a beach view. The bathroom is also large. There is a shower and a full bathtub. The shower is very small, though, and though it has a lot of functions, not many of them are useful.
The rooms are well appointed with the bathroom well equipped, with twin glass sinks, a bath with shower over it, and a separate cubicle shower which had more controls than the starship enterprise, and nozzles that delivered surprises to many sensitive parts of the body, and a seat to sit and meditate whilst the nozzles massaged your cares away. A nice touch if you enjoy a powerful shower. The bathroom also sports the usual toilet and bidet, nice towels, fit for purpose hair dryer, huge mirrors, and beautiful lemon fragranced toiletries from L’Occitane.
The concierge service is particularly good at Las Arenas – we were recommended a few restaurants that were excellent, and close by (walking distance) – one for traditional Valencian Paella, and the other for a ‘fine dining’ experience.
