Zagreb Croatia’s northwestern capital, is distinguished by its 18th- and 19th-century Austro-Hungarian architecture.  There are a number of gay friendly hotel Zagreb, mostly in the downtown are Zagreb.

The gay community in Zagreb is small in Zagreb but there bars and night disco where locals and tourist alike tend to meet.

The Westin is a big US-style hotel located close to the business district in Zagreb.

The hotel is situated within a 15 – 30 min walk to most site of Zagreb. There are restaurants and shops all within walking distance.  (Zagreb is a relatively safe city so we were fine being out at night. As always, be aware of pickpockets.)

Rooms are a good size by European standards, well appointed, with a comfortable bed.  Rooms are  spacious, well equipped, very clean and functional.

The breakfast is nice, with bacon, sausages, different types of ham, eggs, cereal and much more.

The bathroom has a large vanity along with wash clothes and a US-style 110v outlet for shavers

If you need a gym, then there is a real one even with a swimming pool.

There is  a steak restaurant, bakeries, outdoor cafes, and money exchange places manned by people.

Prices start 185$/night for the Deluxe Room and no breakfast. The Executive Suite Room is 320$/night.

Situated in Zagreb city centre, right next to the Zagreb Main Railway Station, 5-star Esplanade Zagreb Hotel offers a fitness centre and sauna. Free WiFi access is featured throughout the hotel. The city is clean, feels very safe, and architecturally authentic. It has lots of gardens; a perfect outdoor craft, flower, and fresh food market in the very center of the city; and lots of cafes within easy walking distance of the Esplanade.

The hotel is within walking distance of the station and the central square of Zagreb can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The hotel has grandeur and is the place for the fine fleur of Zagreb and the rest of Croatia

The lobby is just grand and reception exceptional upon check in.

The rooms are however, modern except for the bathroom but it is clean and comfortable, with all the bathroom amenities, and slippers etc. Only the electric kettle which you find you most 5 star hotels was missing.

A spacious room and a spacious bathroom as well with all amenities needed. There is plenty of storage space for clothes etc

The Zinfandel restaurant is turned into the breakfast restaurant in the morning, which is great in many ways. Breakfast in a very chic setting, again great service and a good choice from the buffet. In addition, one can choose from the breakfast menu

Breakfast was beyond exquisite – from halal option to all the pastries you can imagine as well as champagne 🙂 Breakfast service is very good with a wide selection of appetising items which were quickly replenished when needed.

Prices start 190$/night for the Superior Room and no breakfast. The Deluxe Suite Room is 305$/night. A spacious suite furnished for leisure with a separate sitting area. 3. Hotel Jagerhorn Zagreb – Gay Friendly Hotel 

Situated between the main pedestrian street and Zagreb’s old town close to Ban Jelacic Square, this hotel was refurbished in 2011. Founded in 1827, Hotel Jagerhorn is the city’s oldest standing hotel.
The elegantly equipped rooms provide free Wi-Fi internet access. Free secure parking is located nearby.

Hotel Jagerhorn has a unique location : bang in the center of all the action in Zagreb and yet a little retracted from the road, so that there is no noise. We will be  pleasantly surprised with the soothing chirping of birds.

Hotel is situated very near to town central, super convenient where all the churches are situated with plenty of eateries within walking distance.

The adjacent cafe was also a great resource for a quick snack, wine or coffee with friends as well. The front of the hotel lead right to restaurants and shopping while the back lead to a set of stairs that brought you to Upper town in the center of all of the historic buildings.

The Jägerhorn is a ‘hotel garni’, not possessing a restaurant, but there is a spacious bar for alcoholic drinks, coffee and cakes.

Rooms are elegant, clean with a perfect bathroom. The mini bar is well equipped. Breakfast is very good, with a excellent choice of food for different tastes.

There is no elevator in the building, however the staff were all more than happy to help with our bags.

4. Art Hotel Like Zagreb – Gay Friendly Hotel Zagreb

Just a 5-minute walk from the main square, Art Hotel Like has a lounge room with flat-screen TV and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. There is a supermarket next door, and Draškovićeva Tram Stop is 30 m away.

Public parking is available in a garage 150 m from the property. The hotel provides a safety box and laundry service. All rooms have their own newly fitted bathrooms.

The hotel is located near all of the sites you would want to visit & its also close to the walking streets that allow walkers only. There are numerous restaurants, bars, cafes near by.

The rooms are basic but well designed, lots of storage space, place to work, etc. Everything clean and comfortable.

Rooms are large, light and airy, good quality bedding, bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. Safe but no fridge. Bowls of sweets in reception are, nice touch!

Breakfast was decent with fruit juices, tea, coffee, yoghurts, fruit, eggs, pastries, meats and cheese provided in a buffet made available around reception.

5. Best Western Hotel Stella – Gay Friendly Hotel Zagreb

The Best Western Stella’s modern, air-conditioned rooms are soundproof and feature a LED TV with international channels, a minibar, and a bathroom with hairdryer.

A varied buffet is served every morning in the Stella’s large breakfast room. In the evening, guests can choose from a wide range of drinks at the bar.

The location of the hotel is excellent as it’s conveniently located near the brand new airport of Zagreb.

The hotel has a fitness center and a sauna, which is nice before the flight. However what distinguishes this hotel from a lot of other comparably priced places is excellent customer service.

Room is clean and spacious, with a single bed neatly tucked away in a corner.

WiFi is fast and free, as it should be. Bathroom functional and clean – nothing luxurious but worked well.

Breakfast is a plentiful if simple affair. Fresh coffee and juice, bread, pastries, juice etc.
