1. Radisson Blu Limfjord Hotel Aalborg 4* – Gay Friendly Hotels Aalborg
Just 6 km from Aalborg Airport in North Jutland, this modern hotel offers free sauna access, free Wi-Fi and an in-house casino. Aalborg Train Station is 10 minutes’ walk away.
Radisson Blu Limfjord Hotel’s modern rooms have cable and satellite TV, tea/coffee facilities and a seating area. Some offer views of Aalborg city centre and the Limfjord.
Restaurant Brasserie Pascal uses local quality ingredients to create classic French dishes. The hotel lounge offers a selection of drinks and a relaxed setting with piano melodies.
The main pedestrian street, Jomfru Ane Gade, is just around the corner. It has charming cafés, bars and cultural attractions.
Modern hotel in city center with views of the city or the River Limfjord; offering bar & restaurant.
The hotel is just few meters from the restaurant and bar area close to Jomfru Anes gade, pedestrian streets with shopping and small cafes. Perfect location!
The location was perfect, right in downtown, across from the water and overlooking the nightlife of Jungfrau Ann Gade (although on the weekends it did get rambunctious and noisy, if you prefer quiet, request the water view side).
I did a lot of touring around during the day and the staff was extremely helpful in pointing the way to the right busses, laundromat, places to see etc… And the breakfast buffet was always fresh and full of goodies (for European and western tastes).
If you like soft beds, you will LOVE these (if you like to sleep on firm mattresses, then you might be out of luck), the beds are soft and fluffy with duvets (single duvets which are a bit on the narrow side) However, the rooms are very large but a bit dated.
They seem decorated and furnished in 80’s era standard hotel decor and the bathrooms have NO shelf space and are small. There are flat screens in every room and free internet as well as free parking (just remember to ask for a token to exit the parking area).
We have booked double room and the one we have received was great. It has big balcony overlooking the street and really big bed. We have invited some guests to come over for a drink in the evening and there was no problem about that. ıf you wish to explore the night life of the city you are in perfect location as hotel is in the close distance to the main entertaining street Jomfru Ane Gade.
I really think this hotel is a good choice.
This is a nice hotel with friendly staff and the perfect location for Aalborg nightlife… It is a bit loud at night on the city side because of the location to the bar district wednesday-saturday nights. The Fjord side was quieter, but there isn’t much of a view…
The breakfast was wonderful: eggs, sausage, fresh baked breads and the typical european fair as well.
The piano bar was a nice meeting place but never had a pianist to go along with the Steinway & Sons Grand Piano it boasted.
The Casino attached was nice and there was vouchers available from the reception for free entry to hotel guests. We also had free wireless internet passwords given to us by the receptionists. They also had a business center with fax, printer, and computers available just outside of the lobby. The Gym in the basement was small but nice to have nonetheless.

Is this the future of hotels, I don’t know, but the concept seems to work. Minimal visible staff, self-service & basic amenities. These things are reflected in the price, which I thought was very fair.
New, modern hotel with comfortable rooms (incl beds). Very clean. Staff very friendly. They Will charge you for early check in. Breakfast not included. Parking charges at 160 kr. Good choice in Aalborg. The Compass Hotel in Aalborg offers same standard, but have breakfast included.
The hotel is quite new and the decor is trendy. It’s not high quality so may not wear well but it was fine in these early days. Staff were friendly and made good dinner recommendations. No a/c but luckily we were comfortable when we figured out how to open the windows to deliver the most air. We didn’t take breakfast here.
The Zleep Hotel is a very modern property and it is next to the transit stations. Decor is modern and minimalistic. The room itself is clean, albeit a bit small. Breakfast is decent and plentiful.
Don’t like: The self-check in machine. The UX is too slow and the whole process is too lengthy.
Lobby is clear with bar and self check in automates. The bar staff member was helpful by offer assistance if needed with check in. She also helped with parking directions; the parking is located two blocks away, but to get there takes quite a long road. Rooms are very plain starting from the materials, but offer all the basics you would expect from a hotel room (with exception of air conditioning).
The breakfast was excluding our rate, but the supplement was very reasonable considering the breakfast; instead of quantity Zleep hotel focused on quality. Strong recommendation.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful!! The lounge was nicely decorated and there were plenty of sockets… Perfect while I was waiting for the 2pm check in. The location was great, right next to a shopping mall, a supermarket, the bus and train stations, and it was right on the border of the town (I could walk everywhere). It was very easy to get to from the airport.
The bed was comfortable and large. The bathroom was nice and spacious.
Small, clean, efficient rooms within easy walking distance of the Aalborg train station and the bus to the airport. The staff at the reception were very helpful. We were on the 7th floor and it was very quiet. We could leave our luggage after checking out so that we could walk around town. We didn’t have the breakfast. There is a supermarket and a movie theater just across the street.
Aalborg is a great town. We had excellent fresh juices and vegan food at We Fest a short walk away heading into town. Our trip to the nearby Lindholm Hoje museum and burial ground was also very informative.

Anyone who comes to Aarhus and is looking for a good and not so expensive hotel … come to this hotel.
Brand new hotel in very central location to wonder around Aarhus.
Lovely interior design with power sockets and usb ports available next to both sides of the bed. Excellent room furnishing and big smart tv as well!
Room was overlooking the inner part of hotel’s lobby, but quite bright and quiet.
We were missing hand soap and slippers in the room, but were provided upon request.
Staff through the hotel is really nice and work as a team, something you don’t see in many hotels, so congrats to you and the management!
Attended the DJ event at Fred&Co Bar in the evening and was very enjoyable. Drinks and cocktails there is a must try!
Felt safe at the hotel as needed room cards to use the lift.
Breakfast was a bit let down as many items were not provided (scrambled eggs, pancakes, wider cheese selection, fruit, and no vegan options) for the price paid. Also, packed items were missing description in english which we didn’t like from a chain hotel..only in danish 🙁 !
Few things maybe to add in the room – an additional mirror on the wall over the desk and pillow menu.. but overall we liked the ambiance of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.
The moment we arrived, the service was more than perfect and the rooms were super clean. The location is excellent. The facilities were also perfect. We did good when booked this hotel. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Impressive hotel of truly international standard. Vibrant, modern, and classy all the way from the bar and Pinterest-friendly decorated lobby to the rooms. Our room had a full size balcony, a walk-in closet, and all amenities – espresso maker and huge rubber duck included.
Suites should be even better, but they were fully booked. Comfy wide bed with 4 pillows made for a great night’s sleep. AC is efficient and whisper quiet. Fast internet. 6 USB outlets for watches, phones, tablets,… 4K TV even includes Chinese channels and Chromecast. Nice bathroom with no slippery surfaces.
Location is perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, museums, transport, and shopping. All in a safe area without street noise from the crowds.
