Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons in Paraguay may face legal challenges not experienced by non-LGBT residents. This was a great experience and a good rate of price/value. Comfortable, nice, clean, polite crew, nice service, great shower, bedroom, bathroom and property. good quality overall and nice breakfast. The hall was a nice place to wait if you needed to wait for someone.
Stylish relatively new Hotel in central location close to Shopping del Sol and Pasea Galeria. Good Restaurants and Bars around. Very hip and stylish Rooftop Bar and Pool. Great for chilling afternoons. The rooms are a bit run down already and with a bit too cheap materials.
But the facilities like the Gym, Rooftop Pool, Bar and Restaurant as well as the Breakfast Area are very nice. Breakfast variety could better and quality is not very good. But overall a fair price quality ratio and in my opinion within the Top 5 you can find in Asuncion for that price.
This hotel has a great atmosphere. It is also centrally located everything in the city is within a 5-15 drive. The rooftop bar is a great place to meet some friends and hang out. Service in South America isn’t typically great, but Dazzler had a great attitude with its guests.
Don’t expect great English in Asuncion. Be patient if you are unable to speak Spanish. The mall across the street is great. A lot of restaurants and good place to kill some time between work meetings.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Located in a great area of Asuncion, with big, comfortable and very clean rooms. They have a great pool area. Breakfast was not bad and service at reception was professional and fast.
The service was great, the rooms were quite comfy with great views of the city. The pool was amazing, extremely relaxing and on the rooftop so you can watch the city from above. The breakfast was quite good with lots of options to choose from, and the gym was also great, with a pretty good set of free weights and machines.
Very nice room with modern decor. Comfortable bed and sofa. Two separate bath and shower room, which was a treat. Nice bath amenities and towels. No wash cloths.
Hotel is in the suburbs near Shopping del Sol (with many good restaurants and a posh supermarket) and Museo del Barro. Buses to Downtown stop right across the street from the hotel.
No kettle or coffee pot in the room, but water dispensers (cold and cold) in the lobby and breakfast areas.
Breakfast was in our rate and was adequate for the day but very crowded and picked over quickly. Two areas for breakfast:just off the lobby and on the first floor.
I’d stay here again but would also look at the properties very near to the Shopping del Sol. It’s walkable from the Esplendor, but in the dark it can be dangerous with no street lights, standing water, sidewalks that end, and damaged road surfaces. In the daylight it’s no problem.

The great thing about an Ibis Hotel is, whenever you are, you know what you are going to get: nice room, nice shower, nice breakfast. Good service and fast response. And you can add a very good location to the Ibis Asunción. Near of very nice restaurants, very close to the Paseo La Galeria Shopping Center, close to the Paseo Carmelita and located in one of the main Avenues of the Capital.
This is a very well located hotel in Asuncion surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops . Although it is a chain hotel do not be fooled it is more like a boutique hotel . Most staff speak adequate English and on the top of that that are genuine , polite and service orientated . It is only a six floors hotel unlike other Ibis hotels which are mostly tower blocks .
The rooms are typical IBIS facilities and there is nothing special but there are doable . I have tried the breakfast once and it was OK but for few dollars more you can get a feast at other places . The price for the room is reasonable bearing in mind that Sheraton next door is almost three times that price.
Hotel is well situated, 20 min from airport, not far from centre and next door to two of the major shoppings. Breakfast is good for an Ibis, better than some latin american Novotels.
Limited choice for lunch or dinner, but many options in the shopping next door or in the direct neighbourhood. Good transfer service in the lobby.
This is a great hotel, if mainly use it for a nightly sleep and like to be out and around all the other times. There are no frills, but parking was free, the rooms were clean, beds firms and with good bedding. The water in the room was pretty warm and air conditioning strong enough to neutralize the heat outside. One downside, was that the room electricity was operated by the key card.
So, if you go out, the A/C and Phone charger stops. The hotel has a nice little bar and open late I think. I did not have to use it, as there were places open till 2AM around the hotel. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. There is a taxi rank on the other side of the street. Both the malls have excellent eating options. Breakfast can be pre-purchased and it it cheaper that way.
A transfer desk is available for transportation to the airport and other tours. I did a couple of tours with this company. Area around the hotel seemed pretty safe and upscale. A gas station is located in front of the hotel. Nightlife is within walking distance, as one of the top party areas, Paseo De Las Carmelitas is within walking distance. It was cheaper and good option to stay at this hotel compared to other five-star options around.
