Great place exactly in the middle of town. Clean and big room. Tourist area, restaurants and a future mall very close. Spent 2 nights there. In the night is quite quiet.
Everything was great. Very nice, friendly and helpful people are working in this lovely hotel. Room very clean. The location is near the old city so you can walk there. We enjoy our stay there. Highly recommended.
Nice hotel, clean, good-sized room and bathroom; comfy bed and pillows, it also provided toiletries, hairdryer, mini fridge, towels changed each 2 days. There were public parking spots right in front of the hotel, but you need to pay (there’s a parking machine close by) (except for nighttime and public holidays).
Breakfast is optional and served at the Residence Pension (some 5-10 mins walk at a leisure pace); decent buffet selection. Very good location, close to city center and most interest spots. It also offers discounts to some tourist attractions in the area – you need to ask at the reception desk.
The place is very nice, close to the city center; the rooms are big, cozy, clean; you have a space for eating with everything you need; parking lots are paid by day and you can park everywhere in Brașov and Poiana Brasov; the staff is very friendly.
It’s a beautiful building, located near the center, renovated and nicely furnished, clean room, large bathroom, large bed, beautiful furniture, and the staff was very helpful. We will definitely return and we recommend this place to others.
The building is well positioned, with plenty of parking spots in front. In approximately 10 minutes of walking you can reach the city center’s main square.
The room was huge with plenty of spaces to deposit your personal belongings. In the room there were 2 coffee tables, 2 armchairs a cupboard and 2 wardrobes. Lots of electricity outlets throughout the room and especially near the beds where there are 2 Lan (internet) outlets for connecting a laptop should you wish to do so ( the WI-FI signal was pretty strong though).
On the second floor there is a kitchen for the guests where one can make coffee, tea or store some food in the freezer.
The place is pet friendly and very flexible. We left 1 day earlier and the hotel refunded the money even though it was on a short notice.

This is a very modern hotel. On entering our spacious and light room the first obstacle was trying to understand the array of light switches,we never did truly figure them out but just kept pushing switches until we arrived at the correct lighting.
The bed was extremely comfortable, one of the nicest we have slept in on our travels.
The bathroom had a large stand alone shower and a bathtub which was behind glass walls and nice fluffy bathrobes and also decent sized bath towels. This is a plus as a lot of hotels bath towels never seem large enough. Also a separate toilet which is very convenient.
The buffet breakfast was also very nice with an excellent selection. The train station is virtually next door which is ideal if travelling by train.
Overall, this is an excellent modern hotel. I very much doubt we will ever revisit Brasov but if we were to this would be the hotel of choice.
It is a new, modern hotel. Situated near the train station and bus station, the hotel has a pretty large free parking facility.
The staff is well organized and helpful. Breakfast is various and adequate, lunch and dinner is in fine dining style.
The hotel has also wellness facility – which i did not tried -. Room size is ok, it is a little bit strange the glass wall in the shower.
Overall it is a hotel I would recommend to use.
Kronwell hotel is the perfect choice if you are looking to visit this beautiful town of Braşov and want to experience quality service and excellent accommodations during your stay.
The amenities offered by this hotel are stunning to say the least, starting from a flawless booking prior to arriving, to the welcoming service of the professional staff and modern and high quality accommodations you will find in the room. The time spent at Kronwell was amazing, the bed was so comfortable, the room was exceptionally clean and well stocked with any requirements you might have needed or imagined and the location is extremely well positioned in Braşov.
You will be minutes away from the train station, a short nice walk to Coresi mall which is the biggest in town as well as a short taxi ride away from old downtown area where there are so many places to see and visit!
The minute we stepped into our room, we were impressed. It was such a large room and the layout was spectacular to say the least. They had this magnificent glass shower with rain feature between the bathroom and the sleeping area. There were sliding panels to close it off from the room. Everything was stunning. Walls were covered with a faux suede.
Everything was put away behind a handle-less doors. Behind one panel was an access point where you could plug your laptop in and watch on the flat screen TV. There was a wireless keyboard that you could have used in conjunction with the TV. The electronics in this hotel were cutting edge to say the least. Clean smooth flow through the room. The bed was the most comfortable.
All amenities were available. It is a short, inexpensive taxi ride away from the old town if you want to go there for dinner. We chose to eat in the restaurant which was very good and reasonably priced. We had a provide buffet breakfast that was excellent. I doubt that we will be back in Brasov soon, but we truly appreciate the quality of the room, hotel, and staff. We thank you for a wonderful stay.

This hotel is a very old building converted to a hotel. The location is great 10/10 in the heart of the old town facing the town hall. The hotel has a restaurant downstairs and they offer a discount to all hotel guests. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The upper rooms have nice balconies. There is a paid parking lot nearby.
This is an old hotel with wooden beams, balconies, character and eccentricities. It is ideally located in a pedestrianized Piata Sfatului, with outdoor sheltered seating, a 24 hour front desk (oddly situated at the rear where luggage can be stored), friendly staff, a small lounge, dining area and bar, no lift & steep stairs, with a mix of ancient and modern furniture & fittings.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here: rooms were clean & comfortable, buffet breakfasts were OK, the location was ideally central & close to entertainment, not too noisy, and staff proved friendly and helpful.
We stayed at the Hotel Casa Wagner for one night while travelling through Transylvania and I must say the location could not have been better. The hotel faces out onto the town square where there are a good many patios set up from various establishments around the square.
Upon entering the hotel there is a small reception desk and a stairway up to where the rooms are located. There is no elevator which is common for these older hotels but if you have no mobility issues it should be no problem. For our room we had to go through an outside door, along an outdoor balcony and into our room from the balcony. I personally loved this, as being a smoker, I could just step outside on the balcony to have a cigarette.
The room was quite lovely with a high ceiling and antique furniture and quite spacious. Breakfast was included with our room and there is a separate dining room with a buffet breakfast served . The breakfast was lacking in imagination and there was not a lot to choose from. All in all a nice hotel for one night in Brasov.
Casa Wagner is in a historic building on Brasov’s main square. I enjoyed my stay in the heart of the old city. My room was under the eaves and had twin beds, wardrobe, small fridge, flat screen TV. The attached bath room had a shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rack.
The WiFi signal was OK in my room. Beds were comfortable, and the area surprisingly quiet at night. The breakfast buffet offered cereal (2 kinds), orange juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, freshly baked rolls, cold cuts, cheese, salads (tomatoes, cukes, olives) eggs, coffee and tea. I thought that the hotel offered excellent value for the price of the rooms, considering its location, generous breakfast and quiet, comfortable sleep.

Prices start 75$/night for Standard Double Room. The Deluxe Double Room with Mountain View is 155$/room per night with breakfast included – if coming on a honeymoon this is the perfect choice for gay couples.
