Most importantly of all, South Korea & Busan is very gay friendly, especially for foreigners. There are plenty of Gay Friendly Hotels Busan.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in South Korea face unique legal challenges and discrimination not experienced by non-LGBT individuals. While male and female same-sex sexual activity is legal in South Korea, marriage or other forms of legal partnership are not available to same-sex partners.
Busan, a large port city in South Korea, is known for its beaches, mountains and temples. Busy Haeundae Beach features the Sea Life Aquarium, plus a Folk Square with traditional games such as tug-of-war, while Gwangalli Beach has many bars and views of modern Diamond Bridge. Beomeosa Temple, a Buddhist shrine founded in 678 A.D., is at the base of Geumjeong Mountain, which has hiking trails.

1. Hotel Hilton Busan 5* – Gay Friendly Hotels Busan

Featuring ocean views, Hilton Busan is set in seafront location. This hotel provides an ATM machine and newspapers that guests can use.
All rooms are fitted with a seating area and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. With a private bathroom, certain units at Hilton Busan also have a sea view.
A buffet breakfast is available each morning at the property. Various dining options are available at the interactive on-site restaurant with open kitchen. The hotel also has a rooftop bar with ocean views, offering cocktails and a la carte menu.
Located east of Busan and minutes away from the bustling Haeundae Beach district, Hilton Busan sets a new standard for destination hotels in Korea. This beachfront ‘urban resort’ offers a range of first class facilities with intuitive service against a backdrop of the stunning Korean coastline. Be it a meeting, wedding or family getaway, Hilton Busan is the perfect business and leisure venue. – Standard guest rooms starting from 60sqm, with private balcony – 4 unique ‘destination’ restaurants and bars – 3,000sqm conference center with 2 ballrooms, outdoor function venues, and a wedding chapel. – 3 indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Arriving at Hilton Busan, I was absolutely captivated by the entrance. It has a modern and simplistic design to it, and once I entered the hotel, it was even more captivating with all the wooden frames. The interior design is fantastic and also when you get to the lobby, you are absolutely captivated by the full view of the blue ocean. The rooms are nice as well, and the bathroom is absolutely huge.
As Hilton Group is an international hotel chain, I really think the hotel needs to consider the transportation for foreign travellers. So many hotels in Seoul will offer free shuttle bus services to main tourist attractions, even if that hotel is in CBD. Given that the Hilton Busan is so far away, they really need to be more accommodating and offer some shuttle bus service. If not, I believe they will lose foreign customers staying at this hotel.
My advice to potential travellers interested in this hotel – please consider to rent a car otherwise, it’s not worth staying at this hotel because you will waste a lot of money taking taxis everywhere.
The Resort offers everything to all customer groups (gay couples, friends, business, etc) and with a top notch customer service from A to Z. The Executive Lounge staff and manager (Krissy) are excellent and very customer service oriented. The hotel offers several excellent restaurants inside or adjacent to the hotel, sauna, several outside and inside pools, Executive Lounge, high quality bakery, wedding hall, conference rooms, free parking, free tour bus to downtown Busan, very relaxing place to stay, enjoy or conduct business off-sites meetings. Will be nice if in the future they offered shuttle bus to/from Gimhae airport as more overseas customers will likely use it as the airport is about 30 to 45 minutes away depending on traffic,
First of all, the location of the hotel is excellent in terms of view and remoteness. Unlike other hotels in Busan where they are located in very crowded beach or in the city center (i.e. Westin or Paradise at Haeundae), Hilton is located in somewhat remote area with few distractions other than the guests of the hotel and adjacent Ananti Cove. However, it would be less accessible via public transportation, though there is shuttle bus operating from hotel to key locations.
The view from the room was magnificent. I had stayed in the Ocean View, and view was superb. Also, I was able to enjoy sunrise from my own bed.
The staffs were professional, and seemed to be very well trained. As I speak enough Korean, I had no difficulty communicating with them, and not sure about their English or other language skills.
The main pool called McQueen’s pool is located at top floor of the hotel where the lobby is located (10th floor), but make a note that the pool can only be accessible through 8th(Men) and 9th(Women) floor where reception for Gym, Spa, Sauna is located. So, I ended up walking up and down after changing to swimsuit. However, if you request at the reception, you could get assigned for change room in 10th floor, still you need to take stairs entering the pool from the reception.
There are 1 medium size indoor pool, 1 kids pool, and 1 hot tub. Also, outside, there are 2 or 3 hot tubs with sunbeds.
Overall, the experience at the hotel was very smooth and enjoyable.
The location: set aside from the hustle in Busan/Haeundae, but still only 10-15 from anywhere in Busan in a cab (and they they are cheap) and the staff are super helpful arranging. 10 mins walk to a bunch or authentic Korean restaurant (Boribap, and Han hongshik – which we hit up a few times). Shuttle bus to a Lotte premium outlet mall and temple and (free) quirky fishing museum – good for a day for kids (you could walk these actually).
More broadly – the Hotel is in a developing area outside of Busan, but that’s the point – it’s a resort set aside. If you want sand/beach, bustle, Haeundae is for that (split your stay like we did). Hilton is set overlooking a very pretty rocky outcrop / ocean – very tranquil and quiet.
The Staff: Super friendly, helpful and you can tell really proud of the place. I speak almost no Korean and nearly everyone, anywhere in the hotel I came across was able to help me.
Tips:
Like many hotels in Korea – the Sauna and Gym? (and McQueen’s/indoor pools, in this case) are “extras”. Pay as you go, or included in Exec rooms. Standard rooms (view aside) have the same amenity – huge shower / bath / balcony. Bath overlooks the window and ocean view for us. Enough for 2-3 days, but I think if longer you would want to spring for the extras. As a Diamond member, all Pool / Sauna perks are included in a standard room…. so not an issue I had to grapple with.
Exec Lounge – great view on 9th floor…. no kids… but they run a dinner service in a separate lounge. Relatively busy. TV for kids.. so parents can chill with a drink. smart. Decent machine coffee (no barrister). Check in/out times on weekends are busy – it’s a resort everyone rocks up at same time.

Room size is small but this is clearly stated so no complain on this, but actually is more spacious than expected for 1 person and 2 suitcases with the foyer/porch at the entrance. One-off amenities provided upon check in. Staff is pretty nice, friendly and helpful. Hotel is located inside an alley so a bit difficult to find. Overall quite a satisfactory stay.
Opened in June, 2018 so everything is still new, clean and well-maintained.
Location: Just a few minutes walk from the Beomil subway station (exit 2). It is quite far from Haeundae (about 40 mins by metro) but relatively close to other tourist areas e.g. Jalgachi Market, Songdo beach and train station (Busan station). Hotel provides directions, making it easy to find.
Room: Our double room is spacious, clean and our bed was very comfortable. It was also very quiet so had no problem sleeping soundly. Bathroom is also spacious and equipped with a tub.
Customer service: Very helpful and friendly. Always up for recommending things to do and restaurant recommendations.
Neighbourhood: Lots of old people and entertainment venues ( gay bars, karaokes) catered to old people. Not much else going on.
All in all, highly recommended and great value for money! Will definitely stay here again.

They hotel is conveniently located to all parts of Busan. Also conveniently close to the Geumnyeonsan metro station, down the street from exits 3 and 5. From Busan Station, the metro is located outside the front of the main KTX station. Walk out to the bus stops and turn left, the entryway underground is right there. This is Busan Metro Station…
To get there, take Line 1 (orange) to Seomyeong then there, change lines to Line 2 to Jangsan. The Geumnyeonsan station is the 9th stop from Seomyeon. Another way to remember is that it is the stop after Namcheon. Exit on the 3 and 5 side of the station and head down the street between 3 and 5 towards the beach. Turn left in the last alley before the beach, and hotel is on the right.
The rooms are nicely appointed and modern. We got the double deluxe without view and it is a large room with a nice tub, shower, and toilet all in their own locations. With heated floors, good air conditioning, it made the warm wood flooring and interior inviting and comfortable the entire stay.
They also are known for their rooftop view of Gwangan Bridge at night. It’s no wonder it’s a popular location for shooting music videos and films there. They have autographed items from productions that have worked on location there in the lobby. The breakfasts here are limited to korean rice or omelettes. It’s convenient and affordable if you want it. There is also a Starbucks, cafes, and other bakeries around the area you can walk to for breakfast.
The hotel is also pretty much on the beach in Suyeong. Miles of boardwalk you can walk up and down the beach for a while. There are shops and restaurants and cafes as well. However if you want to go to Haeundae Beach, I recommend taking the metro train to the Haeundae station or go by taxi. Visit the strip there.

Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel and an amenities pack were provided free of charge.
Haeundae Mall is about 700 metres away, as is the subway. This hotel is a good distance to walk to the “island” the Westin is on and see the nice gardens and views. Also easy to walk to the fancy Marina area away from Haeundae Mall.
I recommend The Pancake Epidemic for breakfast or Cafe 37.5 – both are on the main Haeundae Street (not the Mall but the main road running parallel to the beach) but in opposite directions. Walk through the Haeundae Grand Hotel car park to the Main Street and turn right for Cafe 37.5, which is about 350 metres away and is across from the Camelia apartments and Ops Bakery, near Starbucks. For Pancake Epidemic turn left on the Main Street – it’s in the same building as TGI Fridays and a Starbucks.
Pros:

Nice bathroom and toiletries
