This hotel was breathtaking from the minute you walk in the door, the straight view from the main lobby to the bay and the arch in Cabo San Lucas is enough eye candy to sell the hotel.
Very good service everywhere awesome party pool with DJ’s fabulous sun beds around the pool and beach! Very fun totally for adults and very gay friendly.
The spa is also incredibly calming and beautiful. They had a steam room, dry sauna, hot tub, and outdoor cold waterfall when you book any service.
The Blue Marlin Ibiza restaurant, bar and beach service is clean, delicious and fun.
Worth a return. Amazing drinks and delicious food at Blue Marlin Ibiza restaurant. Highly recommend the octopus for appetizer, red snapper for main, and churros for dessert.
The hotel itself is beautiful and the location is prime. 5 min walk to tons of restaurants including Ediths and The Office.
Our upgrade included breakfast and it was a great start to our days.
Oh I almost forgot about THAT VIEW. Incredible. We were on the 5th floor directly in the middle and couldn’t get over the scenery! As for the pool party-yes it’s loud on Saturdays, but unless you’re attending that party-go explore and play in Cabo.
The hotel is secure with a gate and the door staff are so courteous enjoy conversing.
The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the rooms are modern and equipped with great amenities.
The location was perfect, right on the beach and within walking distance to the Marina and shops and restaurants.
Water sports were available on the beach, and we chartered a boat one day for a fun snorkeling experience.
The breakfast buffet was delicious, as was the other on site food.
There is a great little gift shop boutique on site with unique local items, as well as a full-service spa and an on-site doctor.
Location is everything. Right on Medano beach where. all the action is.Pool is great with plenty of sunbeds with shade.
Pool is bath temperature and feels refreshing under the hot sun. There’s also some sunbeds by the beach which the area is roped off so the vendors can ‘t bother you.
Property location is perfect. Beach front. Medano Beach is clean loose sand, you can swim in the sea water, or take a long walks on seashore.
During one of my morning walks I was fortunate to witness a sea turtle nest hatch and baby turtles making their way to the water. Hotel is 10 min walking distance from marina and 5 to 10 min from most of restaurants.
Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Service is excellent.

So, if you’re looking for a smallish but all inclusive resort with easy access to downtown Cabo San Lucas, Breathless is your place.
It’s situated right on the mouth of the harbor and every room has what they call a “harbor view”. It’s beautifully located because from your private balcony you can sit and enjoy the view of not only the harbor but the town itself and the surrounding hills.
In the mornings there’s all the hustle and bustle of the fishing boats heading out to sea and in the evenings there’s the beauty sunsets. No worries, once you go back in your room and close the balcony doors, all is quiet and peaceful.
The room is a bit plain but well appointed junior suits.
Roomy with everything you’d expect in a first class hotel. The bathroom area has double sinks, large counter space, a separate large shower with a rain type fixture in the ceiling.
Robes and slippers complement the fluffy towels. We stayed on the Exhale side vice the Allure side (better in room amenities, Mimi bar, etc).
The bars and restaurants are excellent. In the main building there is a great lobby bar, a 24 coffee bar, and a Tapas restaurant “Bites” open for B, L & D. Excellent!
This is also where the “quiet” infinity pool is located. All overlooking the town/harbor.
For the guests staying in the Exhale side of the resort there is also a private lounge with a small bar, coffee, pastries, hors d oeuvres, etc.
In the entertainment/main pool building are 4 other restaurants, Italian, Sea Food, Mexican, and Lebanese. So called foodies may find issue but we thought they were excellent.
This is also where the main/party, huge infinity pool is located overlooking the Bay. Plenty of loungers and small tables situated where getting sun all day is easy to do.
There is a nice bar up there as well as the buffet restaurant that is open for B, L, & D.
There is music out here all day that only gets a bit wilder as the day moves on with a DJ working the tunes. A great party atmosphere to soak up the sun, enjoy a cocktail or three.
The guests are a real mix of young and old (mostly younger) gay & straight, ladies groups, etc. So really, come one come all, just a fun place to be.
Last comment is that friendliness and service is the best way to describe the 😃Breathless staff.
You will be well taken care of by the great people working there. No one is expecting a tip for their service but tips will go a long way getting lots of personal attention.

Video Review of Nobu Hotel Los Cabos
The beachfront Nobu Hotel Los Cabos features 200 guestrooms that seamlessly blend contemporary Japanese minimalism with locally-sourced natural, Mexican materials and finishes.
Drawing design inspiration from the sophisticated palette that alludes to the Japanese aesthetic of the Nobu brand, as well as the unique elements of Cabo San Lucas.
Beautiful amenities with the most thoughtful details. It wasn’t super crowded so we never felt unsafe. Beautiful pool areas with lots of seating areas and cabanas.
All servers were friendly and made themselves available to assist in any way.
Upon arriving we were told we would have a local Ambassador.
And let me tell you, our local ambassador Yomali made it a perfect stay. She was always available by text, even when she wasn’t onsite! She always checked in to ask if we needed to make reservation for dinner and the spa.
If there was an issue in the room, she made sure it was followed up with right away.
She’s a truly hospitable and welcoming person and I’m so grateful we got matched with her. We love Yomali!
Overall, the hotel is beautiful. Food was delicious at all the restaurants and we never had to wait for a table even without a reservation.
The spa was soooo relaxing and one of the best massages we ever had. I definitely want to come back post-Covid or a girls getaway.
Nobu got it right with their Los Cabos location.
The hotel has the beautiful architecture, zen design elements and excellent food that you’d expect at a Nobu property but the real stand out for me this trip was the service.
From our arrival to our departure, every staff member we encountered was pleasant, attentive and eager to please.
The personal concierge was easy to communicate with via text message to arrange travel, reservations and to provide recommendations, at our convenience.
The hotel also did a great job with required sanitizing, social distancing, and wearing masks to ensure that we felt as safe and as comfortable as possible given the ongoing pandemic.
Since it’s such an airy and spacious property, I never felt crowded or uncomfortable with the number of guests in any of the public areas or restaurant.
The Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is a top-notch and exclusive property far away from all the bustle of LC and SJC.
The property is located within a beautiful golf course and has an amazing and relaxing stretch of uninhabited beachfront.
All facilities exude luxury and exclusivity, from the three pools to the amazing (yet small) Japanese style rooms.
The food, especially Malibu Farm, is far from memorable, nothing to write home about.
At the Nobu restaurant, the food was good but extremely expensive. Average of US$400 for 2 people, much more expensive than in other Nobu locations (and food portions are tiny).
Grab a reservation at Nobu Restaurant – ate for 3 hours ordered all the specials and then some; YK35 Sake is amazing (YK40 too).
Although we returned one tasting for what we perceived as excessively citrus, it didn’t sour the evening. The restaurant is a multi-Michelin star in the making.
Malibu Farms – get the pizza, any pizza! all accompaniments to the meals were fresh and flavorful as advertised including our breakfast burritos and omelets too.
Pacifica – breakfasts and one dinner. Every bite was that of a well seasoned establishment. Braised veal cheek was our favorite.
Mr Encyclopedia, Sommelier Miguel’s outstanding Sake tasting (he also arranged in person for just the right champagne and wine for Poalo’s dinner event).
Miguel’s love of wine and superlative teaching was a standout to our trip. thank you!
This hotel is amazing. From arrival to departure everything was perfect, except a day of overcast skies.
The hotel arranged our transfers and they went off without a hitch. The room had everything we needed (including a Chi hair dryer) and was very clean and quiet.
Despite our length of stay, we had no problem finding different great food for every meal.
We ate breakfast daily at Malibu Farms, and often dinner there also.
The hotel is about 45 minutes from the airport, and other than the Hard Rock Hotel being next door there is nothing in the area or nearby.
We knew that and were happy to chillax at a resort. First impressions are important, and when you drive into the entrance of the hotel it’s a very impressive view.
Instead of going up to a person in the lobby to check-in, a person greeted us, took us outside to a couch and we enjoyed the view while he registered us. A great start.
The original room, while advertised as “ocean view”, would be listed as a “partial ocean view” at other hotels I’ve stayed at.
The new room we got had a fantastic view of the pool, beach, and ocean.
You could see humpback whales migrating to the Sea of Cortez from the deck of the room – it was amazing!
We stayed for 5 nights, starting every morning with breakfast via room service. Exceptional food and service! We hung out at the pool all day and had dinner every night at their various restaurants.
The pool water temperature was extremely warm, which my wife appreciates.
The resort was not that busy when we were there so there was no problem getting shaded lounge chairs at the edge of the pool, as well as lounge chairs that had a cabana behind them.
No extra charge or reservation needed for the cabanas, although they have a small number with TVs that do require reservations.
The room was very nicely appointed and had a fantastic bathroom with a teak bathtub.
Our room also had a great deck which was fun to hang out in during the late afternoon.
We dined at all 3 restaurants. The Nobu restaurant was a big disappointment (separate review to come), but we loved Malibu Farms and the Pacific Mexican restaurant was phenomenal.
The Nobu Hotel is expensive – certainly more expensive than a comparable all-inclusive, but I thought the facilities and service justified the expense.
