Very good looking. Employees are fantastic. The food is correct but there are a lot of restaurants close. Even one employe speak english. I was very surprise.there is a safe in each room and its always very clean. And very quiet.

This hotel is a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights if you are in town and want a clean convenient, inexpensive place. There’s nothing fancy about this but everything works well. I like what hotels do not have excessive towels or pillows and things like that that I know are extremely wasteful. This place is kind of like an IKEA. Everything is small but clean and efficient. It’s pretty comfortable and the rooms are relatively quiet considering the noise of a big city like this. I opted for breakfast every morning which is an additional COP20.000.
It was worth it for the convenience though the food is only average for this area. Coffee and fruit are good. Breads are OK, eggs are good. Juices are pretty good as well. Again, this is great for convenience though you have to choose ahead of time and there were some mornings when I would have chosen to not eat there so that I could explore some more. That being said it’s 100 times better than the typical awful breakfast that come with hotels in the United States.

The Hotel is very beautiful boutique Hotel in a residential neighborhood with a relaxing, mediation, fengshui vibe (think of a W hotel in the States- just lack the music) and is beyond clean and the staff goes above and beyond to exceed your expectations!!! The Front Desk Staff Maria and Luis are very attentive of any needs that one has and Alexandra with the housekeeping department will give also, go above and beyond to ensure that your room is very clean and that you extra towels etc, added notes- As a Gringo the AC which is one of the most important factor to me while traveling outside of the US is up to par as any in the US, The bedding is to the same standards.
The breakfast is a cook to order style and you have plenty of local fruits to savory and it was great too!! I have been traveling to Cali now for over 4 years and I go six times a year, and the Malik exceeded my expectation. Its been the best hotel in Cali so far, I’m a Hilton Platinum Level member but, be adventurous and stay at much nicer property which will give you the VIP treatment!! I highly recommend the Malik, as it even has a pool for a small size property, a steam room, and some garden areas too. The Wifi works fast and throughout the entire property.

Best location to stay in Cali, near the best restaurants and bars. Best places are walking distance from the hotel. People in the hotel were very friendly. The room was very comfortable.
Clean, elegant, walking distance to restaurants, night life, transportation. SUPER location. Staff is super friendly and english is spoken. The hotel is clean and well maintained, new rooms and internet works perfect.
It’s in one of the best and hippest neighborhoods in Cali, El Penon. Great bars and restaurants within walking distance. You are smack in the center of a hip area. The hotel is being remodeled and we we booked a junior suite but were upgraded to a deluxe junior suite, which are the remodeled rooms. The decor is clean and basic but modern.
Shower is great and the bed is very comfortable. No view from the room but that’s ok. The breakfast is at the restaurant next door and is super super yummy. That was one of my favorite things about this hotel. The hotel staff is also very nice, as are all people in Colombia really. Very good value for the price at this hotel.
The rooms were large and very clean. The location was in a very clean and safe to walk around without any worries. Night life was also great with many places to eat and with live entertainment.
Barrio El Penon is a great place.. there are some sweet restaurants including Restaurante Argentino (a few streets over) that will serve you the BEST meat ever. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable and overall very reasonable in price.
