It’s a nice property and is in good location. 500 m walking distance from LIC metro and Government estate metro stations and is easily accessible from airport. The rooms and ambience was very good with very cordial and polite staff.. overall my stay was comfortable and is a real VFM deal.

It’s situated at the heart of Chennai on Anna Selai, and is absolutely well-connected, being only 30 minutes or so from airport and appx. 10 minutes away from Chennai Central Station.

Room rates are very economical, and we got a suite room at a very less rate. The (suite) rooms were very big, with a hall, a kitchen, a bedroom, a closet area and bathroom. The room had 2 TVs. The rooms were also very clean.

The food at the in-house restaurant was also very good and light as well. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here and would happily recommend it.

The location is great as it is centrally located. Close to Metro and Express Avenue Mall.

The breakfast buffet was a feast. Healthy, Tasty and with lots of choices.

The Lotus Hotel Sameera does not have a fancy entrance to it but once you get inside, the place is a very comfortable. The reception staff and other staff (kitchen and housekeeping) are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. We had complimentary breakfast which was delicious and sumptuous. Both North Indian, Indo-Chinese and traditional South Indian food were very good. The hotel is extremely well located on Anna Salai close to the Marina Beach. A good landmark for the hotel is the Chennai GPO head office on the opposite side. The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and spacious.

the heart of the city with decent tariff this property is a must for any traveler. Buffet Breakfast is decent with variety of foods, stuffs are really courteous and efficient. Although the property is dated however whenever you face problems stuffs are always there to solve it promptly.

This is a decent hotel located in heart of the city. EA one of the large shipping mall is just walkable distance. most of the major attraction in Chennai city nearby. Excellent restaurant and nice breakfast. rooms are bit small and congested.

This 5 star property has a fabulous ambience. The Front desk is very hospitable and caring. In Particular Akshay and Supriya were cordial and helpful. The food was delicious and the room cleanliness is awesome. The house keeping staff go the extra mile to keep our stay comfortable. I would recommend this property to every one which is in the heart of the city and a great stay. Enjoy the cuisine and the spacious rooms.

Look at the hotel from the outside and it doesn’t look imposing, glass panel facade isn’t eye-catching. Step inside and the lobby is modern, efficient but not Uber luxury. Coffee shop adjacent to the lobby has nicely designed seating and is a good place to hangout. What sets this place apart are the rooms. Modern and supremely luxurious with high Quality materials. Interior decor and Lighting is spot on. It being Taj, comes with the usual perks of class leading service, fantastic cleanliness and maintenance. Noise levels were low. We had an excellent stay. Would want to stay again here.

The rooms are large and extremely well appointed, the view leaves much to be desired though as it’s surrounded by buildings like any large city would be.

The club house has a rooftop swimming pool, two specialty restaurants and a coffee shop as well, dinner was great at the coffee shop and with service as well.

Named after the Coromandel coast, the Hotel presents an urban oasis of bespoke experiences for both business and leisure guests, with attentive service and state-of-the-art facilities.

It is also strategically located in the heart of the city. Getting any place from here is within 10-12 minutes.

The Hotel staff is very well trained, they know exactly what you need, never say know attitude. Great Hotel ambience. The health club amenities are excellent. Breakfast has choicest array of north, south and oriental cuisine. We stayed in the Club room which had access to club lounge for Tea / High Tea / Evening Cocktail and Italian Red Wine.

The hotel is very close Gemini Flyover, T Nagar, Marina Beach. We can do your business meeting, do shopping and relax in the Sauna & Steam room or by the pool side.

Our room was the Luxury Room that was super spacious consisting of a massive bathroom, multiple seating options such as a couch, study desk, arm chair etc and also featured a myriad of creature comforts including complete automation for lights, curtains and what not. They also have a separate pillow menu thereby ensuring you get a pleasant sleep.

The buffet breakfast has a very generous and thoughtful spread including gluten free options. The Aloo paratha and Masala Dosa must be tried.

Taj Coromandel is a lovely property in the heart of Chennai city. Its about 40 years old property but very well maintained. The Experience begins right from the time one enters the lobby. The lobby is grand and classy. They have retained the traditional Chennai culture in a distinct way. The service is impeccable. The rooms are very spacious and aesthetically designed. Sleep quality is superb. Bathrooms are quite huge and they have bath tub as well. the shower cubicle has special rainwater option which makes the experience even more special and relaxing. They have free wi fi for up to 4 devices. Room service is prompt and the choice and quality of food is very good.

The swimming is fine and nothing great to write about. But the Jiva SPA is definitely worth a visit for a relaxing therapy and massage. The Gym is very well equipped and must visit for a quick jog. The breakfast spread is quite lavish and tasty. One needs to specially mention the lovely South Indian cuisine restaurant called ” Southern Spice ” for the lovely ambience, exquisite Tanjore paintings and the lovely food from the 5 states of India – Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra.

Overall excellent experience and a lovely, peaceful stay.

The food is very good. Breakfast is a buffet, very well stocked with both Indian and Western food. Chefs are on hand to cook eggs, dosa etc freshly. We ate in the Southern Spice restaurant: excellent South Indian food -expensive though- in a beautifully decorated room. The Thaali has a lovely selection of dishes. There is a selection of wine from India which is good but very expensive: as are all alcoholic drinks. All the staff are friendly and helpful. A lovely place to end a month in Southern India.

The Hotel is situated in the posh locality of Nungambakkam with several city hot-spots (restaurants, pubs, church, temples, public spaces) nearby. The famous Marina Beach is also 20-30 minutes drive away from the hotel. The room in which I stayed was having a comfortable king size bed, and a beautiful window seat.

The room had luxurious wooden flooring and single point control for all the curtains and lights of the room. The standard amenities like mini bar, electric kettle, cloth ironing stand with iron, electronic safe were included in the room.

The room is decently spacious and the bathroom also houses a large size bath tub to soak away your stress after a tiring day. The hotel has a large size swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam and spa in the lower lobby level. The swimming pool is 4 feet in depth throughout which makes it reasonably safe for kids as well. The pool is located in an isolated private sport which makes it ideal for spending some time alone.

The hotel staff is extremely courteous in its behavior and they will go to any length to make sure that guests are take care of.

There are 4 restaurants in the hotel: Anise (contemporary dining), Southern Spice (South Indian food), Prego (Italian cuisine) and Golden Dragon (Pan-Asian) and a retro-chic pub named “Chipstead”. The hotel also has a tea lounge where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the evening live piano jams.

Overall a mellifluous blend of tradition, heritage and modernity wrapped in the comfortable coating of pride, class and luxury.
