The location is excellent, the environment is elegant, the surrounding scenery is also very good, the warm reception, the room is clean and clean, let people look comfortable, have a good mood, very satisfied, worthy of praise.

Our room had a bathroom with a western toilet and was very clean, which was nice since my son had a stomach bug for two days. The hostess personally made porridge for him that night since all the surrounding restaurants had closed for the evening. Breakfast every morning was cooked fresh on arrival instead of made ahead of time.

The hotel was fantastic! I was even a bit surprised that the rooms are so big. The people working there are super friendly. But the rest was great! If I will go back to Dali I will 100% stay there again!

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The view from the room and balcony is amazing. The interior design is perfect, the eye for details is outstanding. The location is difficult to reach by public transport. We got a little bit lost on our way there but the lovely couple that runs the hotel came to our rescue to pick us up and also drove us to the train station on our last day. (I highly recommend to rent a car anyway when visiting DaLi and ErHai Lake.)

The hotel is built around two charming, well-restored courtyards, with beautiful wood paneling and carvings. Service was excellent. Good western breakfast and the one dinner I had was very good. Walking distance to Xizhou Town morning market. Modernized room with spacious bathroom. Very quiet setting (there were no other guests, so I can’t say how well-insulated the room is from other noise).

Beautiful hotel. Good food. Great service. Not easy to find all of this in one boutique hotel. Every employee you come across in the hotel is there to make sure you have an exceptional vacation.

he hotel is housed in a magnificent traditional Bai house which is more than 100 years old but has been tastefully restored. The room is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. It is within walking distance to Xizhou old town and easy to catch a minicab to Erhai Lake.

Lastly, Yunnan ham fried rice at the hotel is very yummy!

The Sky Valley Heritage Boutique Hotel is a restored central courtyard Bai property. Nestled into a residential neighborhood, its gates conceal a lovely garden and quiet refuge. Close by is a vibrant Bai market that is a must-see. Bicycles enable visitors to pedal out into the country past rice paddies, vegetable gardens and painstakingly worked family farms. Rooms are restored with respect for the past but with an appreciation for modern comfort. The staff is warm and welcoming and communicates well in English.

The rooms are nice and cozy. The atmosphere sends you to the ancient China. It’s a very nice surprise when you arrive there since the neighborhood tells you the opposite. The people welcome you with a smile and are prompt to help. Breakfast is simple, both local and western but it’s enough. Dinner is nice too.
