Very central location. Nice renovated rooms. Very clean. The “sport rooms” are small, but functional. The bathroom indeed extremely small. The spa was ok, but given the size of the hotel not great. The gym, somewhat disappointing. No reclining bike.

Although they would have the space. Breakfast except for the eggs, outstanding. A lot of choices, from fruit, to vegetables, to cheeses, cold cuts in good quality and a very beautiful setting in Da Moro restaurant.

Room is spacious, very cozy when it was snowing outside :-). The location is perfect, next to public transportation which is included in the room anyway. Sauna and wellness areas are the highlighted of this hotel.

This hotel has a stylish lobby area with functional conference facilities. My room was nicely renovated, with usual facilities, only the bathroom showed the original age of the place (but still in perfect shape, featuring shower and tub). I liked the private balcony and the free bottled water. The “theft proof hangers” in the wardrobe were a bit out of place, but I guess they must have been installed for a reason.

Excellent rooms, staff and location. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and the kindness of the employees, that were always ready to help. The breakfast was very good. Will definitely come back.

One of the most comfortable, reliable, friendly, and service-oriented hotels, the Morosani’s warm hospitality begins from when you walk in through its doors. Everyone is pleasant and helpful, and the hotel does a great job of ensuring top quality and service is maintained throughout. Always a real pleasure to come back.

The staff were all excellent, the ambience is very nice and the rooms are very good although small in the bed area but large in the bathroom. The overall appearance of the inside of the hotel is classy and new. The lift arrangement had us a bit confused at first after leaving the underground parking area!

There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but I asked at reception and they provided us with them. Dinner in the restaurant was expensive compared to the price of the room but it seems that Switzerland as a whole is an expensive country. Really nice hotel worthy of its 4* rating.

Good:
– very friendly reception when we arrived
– good size, modern, clean rooms
– nice balcony
– good size bathroom
– breakfast buffet with a wide choice
– Ski room with individual lockers
– Always good music in the hotel and in the elevators

We see potential for improvement
– A user manual for TV and Bose-sound box would be helpful, especially because the personnel didn’t really know how to help (Yoga program on TV, help promised but not sent/available, …)
– Nice wellness area with two saunas, steam room, and pool. However to place the resting couches next to the pool is maybe not the best idea.

The hotel is well located, a very short ride by bus to the ski station (you get a free bus pass at the hotel). The place is very clean and the bed is super comfortable, perfect for a nice sleep after a day of skiing and a night of drinking at the hotel bar. The staff is AMAZING.

Without massive branding inside, I would not even have noticed, that this hotel belongs into a HR chain. Nevertheless its still a very good 4 star hotel with good restaurant and very modern rooms, which feel clean, cozy and user friendly. SPA is top class. Just missing the raw Hard Rock spirit, that I can see in almost every restaurant/bar I visit.

Everything is new and very cool! The hotel has several buildings connected by underground corridor – there are hotel rooms, apartments and even hostel. There is a parking (additional cost), restaurantbar, spa area (small swimming pool, lounge area, jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath)

Music plays everywhere, staff wears pins with favorite singers, design is modern and bright, humor touch.

Really enjoyed staying in our room, having dinner in a hotel restaurant, spending time in spa.

This hotel was very surprising. The rooms were elegant, the bed soft and inviting and the balcony was great for sitting and watching the sunset. The staff were very friendly but not pushy and I felt very safe.

The hotel is close to many bars and restaurants but the bar and restaurant in the hotel were very good and I highly recommend. I would stay there again without looking anywhere else. There was live music when I stayed, I was on the second floor above and couldn’t even hear the music at all, a very quiet room and the black-out curtains are great as well.

Nice little hotel, well located next to the main bus route which goes all over town. The lifts are 5-10 mins away on the bus and there are a few bars around.

Our room was small (it was not the cheapest category either) but very comfortable with a great shower and lovely linen. Housekeeping didn’t do the best job of keeping amenities refreshed though. It had a big, sunny balcony with comfy loungers which was great.

Breakfast is plentiful mid-range (no fresh juice, small selection of hot food, no gluten-free options or much in the way of vegan food). Other food served in large portions, but quite expensive and pretty average. The bar is small but nice and there was great live music nightly.

Boot store rooms had lockers and heated boot warmers which was a nice luxury.

Overall a pretty decent property and quite different from anything else in Davos but seems quite expensive for a hotel that doesn’t feel quite ready to rock just yet.

Set in a peaceful park close to Davos’ Promenade, Sunstar Hotel Davos offers regular shuttle service to and from the main ski stations of Jakobshorn and Parsenn. The large spa area and the indoor pool can be used free of charge.

You can select from a delicious range of starters, salads from the buffet, various soups and 3 main courses (meat, fish, vegetarian) plus the chef’s seasonal recommendations. A breakfast buffet is complimentary. Other amenities include a warm restaurant and a lobby bar, as well as an indoor pool and a gym. There are also saunas, steam rooms and spa treatments, plus a game room and meeting space. Parking is available.

The hotel is quite near the train station but beware, it is quite steep uphill. The reception was friendly and explained all to us as well as gave us our travel package that we had ordered.

The room was clean and well kept although the whole hotel tried to give the impression of a alpine hut which gave it a rather gloomy and dark impression.

The staff did not necessarily speak well english but did their best and we had no difficulties communicating.

Breakfast was plentiful and very good, they have a separate egg menu for omelets and fried eggs.

We went with the dinner buffet and it was really almost too much with starter buffet salad, soup, main course and desert.

We ordered the take away lunch with us on the daytrip and it was plentiful, so much that we did not really feel like having dinner that day but only a light salad. There is a vegetarian option available.

The hotel offers a minibus to the train station which is well appreciated if you have a lot of luggage.

The location is near the centre. The hotel’s decoration is vintage but really comfy. The staff is very friendly and answers your questions. The service is excellent, they have a bus that drives you to the train station,Parsenn or Jakobshorn.

They also drive you back to the hotel. The rooms are very clean and cozy (every morning the staff puts sweets on the pillow). There is also free WiFi.

This hotel was one of the most comfortable skiing hotels we had ever stayed in – the rooms were immaculate, they had balconies overlooking the slopes and only a short distance from either skiing area.

The hotel is located close to shopping and skiing. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and most spoke English. They were very helpful deciphering bus and train schedules. The meals were exceptional and included a variety of dishes to satisfy even the pickiest palate. The pool and spa were welcoming after a long day of activity. The rooms were modest and impeccably clean! I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again soon.

My room on the top floor was spacious with a balcony and a large bathroom. I would highly recommend one of the South facing balcony rooms as there are spectacular sunrises over the Eastern mountain ridge. There was a complimentary minibar in the room which was replenished daily.

The service by all staff was to a high level and the restaurant waiting staff were very efficient. All the staff were very obliging.

The standard of the food in the restaurant was excellent and could not be faulted in any way. There was a very large breakfast buffet and the bread was the best I have ever tasted.

There is a comfortable lounge area with piano, real fire and waitress service and also a very nice circular bar area. Unfortunately I didn’t have the opportunity to use the wellness area or the swimming pool.

I would highly recommend the Sunstar Alpine Hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Graubünden.
