The location of the hotel is fantastic. Praia Mole is across the road from the front of the hotel, and Lagoa da Conceição is out back. Access to the beach could not have been easier.
Other conveniences include the free breakfast and access to a yoga studio.
It is in the middle of the island, close to plenty of restaurants, bars and attractions. It is right on top of one of the world’s most famous and amazing surf spots and next to a stunning lake (see the surf out the window first thing in the morning). The lake is surrounded by little places for drinks and food, including a hidden away waterfall and diving cliff. The atmosphere is island style and more rustic (exactly what we wanted) with a nice little spa with a relaxing pool, sauna and massages.
There are bus routes passing the hotel and we went to ether end of the island with a hired car within a day.
Located at Praia Mole (Mole Beach), the Praia Mole Park Hotel is one of the best locations if your on holiday. The hotel has a restaurant/bar, outdoor pool and indoor pool, fitness center, and nice grounds. The property is older spanish style design. The rooms are a bit dated but everything is clean and works. The staff is very friendly.
It’s best to have a rental car and the area is very easy for foreign drivers to navigate. However, it is possible to walk to the Lagoa area if you’re in good shape.

This hotel has an amazing view of ponta das canas. We had breakfast and dinner included and it was delicious. The staff were amazing, the jacuzzi was nice, the sauna worked good and there are indoor and outdoor pools very kid friendly. They also have a play room with pool table and table tennis.
Just a few min walk from the hotel is the beach of Lagoinha. It is, for me, one of the best beaches in florianopolis still untouched by building with few people on it. It is a small beach with clear blue water.
Costa Norte also has one hotel in the Ingleses beach and hotel guest can enjoy that hotel outdoor facilities as well.
Excellent hotel, beachfront located, with very polite and friendly multilingual staff! Clean, with great oceanfront view! Great for vacation or a getaway weekend!

– Service was the best I have ever experienced at any Hotel worldwide. They went far out of their way to accommodate us – Vegetarian English speakers. Some of the staff spoke English.
– Good location by the water — excellent views of the bay and the islands. Great deck to sit and watch the sunset, supping cocktails.
– Good quality rooms, well maintained, clean.
– Able to book excursions quite easily through the front desk.
– Good food at Breakfast & dinner, with some vegetarian options (cooked specially for us!).

The room was modern enough with the exception of the bed which had springs but was still comfortable. I didn’t even know those kinds of beds still existed. There are plenty of outlets for electronics, I think I counted 13. There’s a desk for your computer and another for snacks and things along with a mini-fridge. Plenty of closet space. I found the sink inside the room itself instead of the bathroom to be a bit weird but the shower itself was nice with plenty of space and good pressure. I just felt like there was a lot of wasted space in the room.
The breakfast is pretty standard for Brazil along with the restaurant. No complaints about either. If it weren’t for the super friendly staff I would have given this a 3 star rating instead of 4. As stated, in a pinch this hotel works.
