Sleeping under a poem from Garcia Lorca is definitely a uniquely magical experience. Everywhere you look, there is another poem. You almost want to walk through the entire place to read them all! Our room was beautiful, impeccably clean, and totally comfortable. The location of this hotel is simply perfect. Service was excellent.
We had deluxe room with view to the cathedral which was like a flat with separate seating area/room. Enjoyed coffee/tea making facilities in room. Clean bathroom.Tea/coffee in room and lovely toiletries. Very handy closet. Beautiful and well maintained room- totally exceeded our expectations 😉
The receptionist was amazing- kind and helpful, she gave us great suggestions and all the information needed about the city.
Beautiful lobby and nice seating area in inner yard. Good location in the historical centre of Granada.
Good breakfast, lots of choices, enjoyed fresh fruit, would love more fresh vegetables.
Discreetly tucked in on the lane next to the cathedral, it is an oasis of calm and of stunning design with reminders of its forbears (they’ve preserved some of the archaeological remains). Our room, a standard one, was big, modern, very comfortable and spotless with nice features such as the rainforest shower head. It was the quietest hotel we’ve stayed in too: we couldn’t hear a thing from our neighbours. Our room faced an internal light shaft so perhaps that helped.
Breakfast is a wonderful buffet. The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help.
They even had a pillow menu so you could order a different type of pillow if the one they provided did not fit your preference. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Granada.

The hotel’s unique decor is inspired by the author Washington Irving. Each luxurious room has air conditioning, heating and a private bathroom.

Literature, romanticism and comfort are all together in this wonderful hotel. You will never want to leave.
The location was ALMOST perfect. It’s right across the street from the Alhambra grounds. I say almost perfect because there aren’t many restaurant options nearby and they are both uphill. However, it is only a 15 minute walk downhill to the city center where you’ll find shops and other food options. If you find the hills too steep, the hotel is very close to the city bus stop.
The buffet breakfast has a good variety of healthy and hearty selections – including pancakes. I thought it was a good value.
You can walk to the centre of town in 10 minutes all downhill and get a taxi back for €5.
The hotel is immediately opposite the entrance to the Alhambra so very convenient for that. It is about a 20 min walk downhill to the town and a bit of a slog back for the able-bodied and potentially very difficult for anyone else.
We booked a Double room and it was very comfortable, clean and a good size. Plenty of closet space and room for our luggage. Loved the bathroom! Very modern. Had a choice between using the tub in one room or the shower in the other room. Yes, there were two separate rooms. The shower head was amazing. Could have stood there all day after a long day of travelling. The air-conditioning worked well, no issues which was important because it was SO HOT outside!
A very nice hotel with decent gym and sauna facilities, a private rooftop pool area, and nicely finished guest rooms and bathrooms. Very convenient to the Alhambra and a good but doable hike to the old town center where the flamenco shows are.
Step out of the hotel and across the road is the main entrance into the medina of the Alhambra & Nasrid Palaces and amazing gardens. The facilities are excellent with a roof top pool & bar to relax after exploring the palaces and the staff are all very friendly and have good english language if Spanish is a problem. Breakfast is fresh, varied and fully stocked every morning. Finishing touches include robes and slippers in your room which are all modern and exceptionally clean

Ideally situated in the heart of the city, close to transport and within easy walking distance to all the sights. Lovely roof terrace where you can enjoy a sundowner.
This is a small intimate boutique hotel, perfectly situated in the centre of Granada, on a pedestrian street, and within easy walking distance of shops, eateries and the Alhambra. The room was spacious with the best bed we have ever slept in, just like sleeping on a cloud! The room was kept spotlessly clean by Sylvia. The breakfast was generous with an excellent coffee machine.
Modern bright but not over spacious room. Lovely Rooftop terrace to enjoy breakfast and wonderful views of the Alhambra band snow-capped mountains. I prefer a room with a bath but for a short stay I copied. breakfast is basic but more than adequate.
Hotel staff team really friendly, very well maintained rooms, exceptional breakfasts. An excellent base for our week away. If private outside space is important to you, ask if you can upgrade (a reasonable cost) to the rooms on the fifth floor – – we did, and it made all the difference to our holiday. A lovely place from which to enjoy Granada.
We recently stayed in an Executive Terrace room at Room Mate Leo, Granada, and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the room was stylish, modern and comfortable and featured a spacious, sunny terrace where we spent a couple of relaxing afternoons after full days of sightseeing.
Other highlights included blockout curtains and a quiet environment for a good night’s sleep, a great selection for breakfast at just 8 euros per person, a fantastic location near the cathedral, restaurants and a short taxi ride or 30 min walk up to The Alhambra and the price for our stay was excellent value for a room of this quality. We’d certainly stay again at a Room Mate hotel.

The 16th-century
Set in 2 Mudéjar buildings, the hotel features a salon with an authentic Mudéjar panelled roof, built in 1512. The ornate patio includes a fountain, ornamental tiles and original renaissance paintings.
All rooms come with a safe, minibar, pillow menu and private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some rooms are duplex, and Superior Rooms offer Alhambra views.

The 16th-century Palacio De Santa Ines, in the Unesco World Heritage Albayzín district, is a 5 minute walk from Granada Cathedral. Crossing the small hall at the entrance, visitors will be fascinated by the courtyard beauty because of its fountain, columns, balustrades and in particular, of Renaissance frescos painted.
Located in the Albaicin quarter which is full of winding little streets and wonderful bars and restaurants it was an oasis of calm and peace. We had a large room (7) which had a cozy sitting area, 2 bathrooms and a fully stocked mini bar. There is no bar in this hotel but a perfect little tapas bar a minutes walk down the steps from the hotel was a bonus. The view from the balcony was of the top of the Alhambra so very atmospheric although we spent most of the time enjoying the view from the tapas bar in the corner.
The staff were friendly and helpful especially around top tips for accessing the Alhambra. They provided a helpful map and directed us to great locations for food and shopping in Granada. The breakfast was buffet style and we had no complaints. They provide complimentary coffee and tea in an afternoon in the dining room.
We had an excellent stay at Palacio Santa Ines. The location is perfect for exploring Granada and is in a lovely historical building just on the edge of the old city. The room was very comfortable. We had a room with an excellent view of the Alhambra which was definitely worth the extra cost (and climbing up three floors of stairs). Breakfast was a buffet arrangement with a good range.
This hotel has character galore. The location is perfect – just a block or so from Plaza Nueva with shops and restaurants, right down the hill from the Albaicin, and very near the Alhambra. The breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly. If you have accessibility issues, please rethink – lots of stairs and narrow passages; but beautiful and so worth it, if you are able.
