Great facilities and polite staffs. We truly enjoyed our stay at the resort. We love the wide range of Continental and Asian breakfasts served at the resort. Getting in and out of Hoi An old town easily (15 mins one way by car) with free shuttle provided by the resort.

The shuttle van is equipped with free WiFi from the resort! The bed is huge and pillows are soft. Pillow menu is also available according to your preference. The resort’s private beach is clean and peaceful. We love the idea that the resort provides tumbler for guests to fill drinking water to reduce plastic waste! Channelling positive vibe during our stay through reducing waste to the environment.

The food at this resort was fantastic you have 2 restaurants to choose from, one offers some western dishes Burgers etc, the other is Vietnamese food we loved them both and never had a bad meal or service, or you could do room service which we did a couple of times when the kids were exhausted.

We loved our stay here and really didn’t want to come home, Hoi An Old Town is about 10 to 15min Taxi ride which cost about $120,000 VND which is about $7.50, they do offer a shuttle into Old Town it leaves every couple of Hours and does a pick from Old town at different times, sometimes we got the shuttle in and Taxi backed or visa versa.

We were in a Garden view room which was spacious clean a,nice enclosed balcony, plenty of bathroom toiletries and the Waterfall Shower was good.

The 2 main pools were never too busy and the jacuzzis were welcome to jump into when you wanted a quick cool down.
There was always sunbeds available and Pool Bar Menus were placed by the sunbeds along with a device for summoning the waiters/waitresses to place your order so you didn’t have to leave your sunbed to get a drink/something to eat.

The Coconut Bar by the Length Pool was a nice place to sit and relax and have a Cocktail after leaving the Pool for the Day before retiring to your room prior to Dinner.

Our room was on the first floor and had a balcony which was enclosed with glass windows and sliding doors. This was done to keep the insects out but could be opened if you wished. Turned out to be a wonderful place to dry your washing in the mornings! The room was very comfortable with a King Size bed, as requested, and all the other amenities that you expect to find.

Included in our deal were two one hour massages each in the Peak Spa which were extremely good. The staff were excellent and the surroundings very relaxing.

Every day at the Lounge Bar and Restaurant and the Pool House Bar there was a Happy Hour from 5pm to 7pm when all drinks served in a glass were 50% off. This meant that the Cocktails and glasses of wine were only a little over A$5!

The Hotel runs a shuttle bus into Hoi An at regular intervals between 10am and 8pm. If their times don’t suit you then a Taxi ride only costs around 100,000 Dong or A$6 which doesn’t break the bank.
The pool is very welcome during the hot days and is well run by the wonderful staff. My only complaint here is that signs everywhere tell you that you cannot reserve a lounge all day by lying towels on them as they will be removed by the staff. This never happened that I saw and in particular over Easter every lounge was reserved by about 9am! Come on management, ensure that the rules are enforced and keep everyone happy!

All the staff, everywhere in the Hotel, were really lovely people. Always a smile and a welcome word, extremely efficient and helpful. So many deserve to be mentioned but I find it very hard to remember their names so a very big thank you to one and all for making our holiday so enjoyable.
We would certainly recommend Sunrise Resort to anyone looking for a quiet peaceful holiday.

Other facilities include a fitness centre, 24-hour front desk, bicycle rental and barbecue.

Located stone’s throw away from UNESCO – listed Hoi An Ancient Town, Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort is an oasis of comfort, relaxation and healing. This unique property with 139 rooms is built around a stunning tropical pool, and also features a Japanese garden with a large Koi pond. At Almanity, you will enjoy a very special offer with a free spa journey offer for each person every day at My Chi Spa, the largest resort spa in Hoi An.

Only a 10 minute walk to the lanterns of Hoi An and out of the hustle of tourists so it suited us brilliantly.

Having stayed at the Anantara in the past, for this child free holiday we chose the more boutique Almanity for its ‘wellness’ amenities. It’s palm-fringed pool area at the centre of the hotel is a welcoming oasis tucked away from the bustle outside. We stayed in a King ‘heaven’ room, which is the size of a studio apartment and comfortably appointed. After a lot of walking over the previous few days, we welcomed our complimentary massage in the surprisingly cavernous wellness centre tucked away at the back of the resort.

Like most of the resorts, the spa menu cones with relatively hefty prices. There are plenty of reasonable (if not so plush) massage and spa options in the surrounding streets. Be aware that Hoi An Old Town is a good 10 minute walk away through busy streets. Helpfully, the hotel supplies hire bikes, which we gladly used for our morning coffee excursion. Morning yoga is complementary and while it is a fairly basic level, there is enough of interest for any level.

Lovely hotel in Hoi An which felt like a calm oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the old town. The facilities and staff were all very good, and the spa treatments thoroughly recommended. The rooms were spacious but could do with some modernisation in my opinion.

The food here is of an excellent quality and considering it is within a hotel it is a fair price. Personally I would make the most of the breakfast and explore in the evenings.

There are beautiful restaurants, tailors and cobblers all within striking distance however the hotel is slightly removed so it feels like a sanctuary within the hustle and bustle of the centre.

The free spa treatments are not to be missed although we only made it to yoga once despite our best intentions.

The rooms are cleaned each day and turned down each evening. While we were there a fashion show took place and despite simply being hotel guests we were treated with the same care and time as all the external guests. We sat down with a bottle of bubbly and proudly smiled at the beautiful ladies from the spa modelling a range of outfits provided by the designer.

The menu is very very extensive and the food well prepared and excellent in every way. Very varied menu, from wellness food to great Spaghetti Bolognaise. The breakfast buffet is huge and beyond diverse, catering to visitors from all over the globe. You can get a full British or five different types of kimchi and everything in between. Easy access to town, wonderful huge swimming pool and spa. Lovely relaxing area beside the pool. The rooms and bathrooms are roomy and both comfortable and attractive.

The location is great as it is 3-5 mins walk to the old town. We went there every day and night because it is so near and so nice to walk around.

PROS:
Excellent staff and management. They welcomed us, greeted us everyday, served us food, kept our room in immaculate condition, helped arrange various tours for us and gave us excellent tips for places to see and things to do in this amazing city of Hoi An. Literally everyone was fabulous.
* The complimentary breakfast had a rich diversity of choices including traditional local and western.
* the Spa was amazing. It was completely relaxing and rejuvenating. Ngoc the therapist was very good. Each room had an individual sauna and shower, which was a great touch.
location: historic old city is only a 5 min walk from the hotel. Therefore our room was quiet and yet the hotel is very close to all the attractions in the old city. The old city has a ton of food choices.
* There are 2 pools at the hotel. So we never felt that it was crowded.
* The rooms were very spacious and all of them have great views of either the garden, the pools, and city. The beds were extremely comfortable and we didn’t want to get out of bed many times. Many rooms have showers and several have bathtubs.

The hotel reception is smart and our room was spacious and very clean with very efficient air conditioning. We also had a small balcony to sit on which was welcome.
The breakfast selection was excellent and the restaurant was very well managed. The staff in there are pleasant and helpful.

We took advantage of the Happy Hour at the small bar to the side of Reception and the young barman was always smiling and happy.

We had a villa and it was towards the back of the resort on the 2nd floor which was great. Nice to have a small balcony and a little extra space, though I’d love it if they offered suites (calling it a villa is a bit of a stretch). But, can’t fault it as the room was quite comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Service was efficient and friendly. Very helpful and welcoming staff. They were well-prepared with info about Tet and what to expect and very proactive in offering assistance.

The beach shuttle was nice…it drops off and picks up at An Bang beach, which is fun and lively, and their own beach club, which was enjoyable for a pool with a view. The times are a bit limited and were more so during Tet, but still handy (we took it one way and then got a Grab/taxi back on our own).

We had a pleasant experience overall: extremely comfortable bed, great shower, walking distance to Ancient Town, welcoming and accommodating staff. Breakfast buffet was fine and offered a variety of options. We also took advantage of the free shuttle to/tour of the Silk Village (another sister property), which was pretty interesting.

This 5-star hotel brings boutique luxury to the banks of the tranquil Thu Bon River, whisking travelers away to another time and place.

The Hotel Royal is absolutely wonderful, our favorite hotel on our journey through Vietnam. The ground-level pool enclosed in a courtyard is wonderful, and smaller rooftop pool offers sensational views of the city.

Our favorite feature? Complimentary bicycles are provided by the hotel, so you can ride to nearby Ancient Town in mere minutes, the charming and popular shopping district.

The rooms are gorgeous and spacious, with balconies and well-appointed bathrooms. The breakfast buffet is the best we’ve had on our current vacation.

Location is excellent – around 5-10 minute walk away maximum from the ancient town and all other local amenities/sites/restaurants but totally noise proof.

The room itself was very well laid out with plenty of room to spread out. The balcony offered a view of the pool below, but better still was the unobstructed view of the river and beyond.
The hotel is very well located just a ten minute walk from the Ancient Town where we explored very day during our stay.

Just a few minutes walk from the ancient city of Hoi An, lies the hotel Royal which has recently acquired a new wing that also happens to host their rooftop pool.

June is a little too hot to enjoy the pool deck during the day as it offers little protection from the sun, but the hotel has a second pool on the ground floor where one can find some shade to sip a few cold drinks in between a refreshing swim or two.

The rooms are clean, large, modern and comfortable with both a shower and large traditional tub.
The buffet breakfast offers a huge choice of Asian and continental food which won’t disappoint.
Service is friendly and good and one can enjoy a drink at the various bars scattered around the hotel. The rooftop deck is ideal for an evening drink with a great view and romantic pool lighting but do note that swimming is prohibited after 6pm and with your clothes on.

Firstly the location is ideal for visiting the beautiful village of Hoi An, only a 10 minute walk, making it really easy to pop in for some food or coffee and ensuring you can visit as many temples, bridges market’s as you like.

The hotel itself is great to with 2 lovely pools, a fabbar (with excellent views) and a good restaurant! The interiors are stunning while always clean and immaculate and the beds super comfy.

it is a very beautiful and large hotel with an authentic and modern charm at the same time.
the restaurant’s outdoor area is very pretty, and the pool area is ideal at night if you want to relax while sipping a nice drink.
