The place itself is just beautiful. From the surroundings to the natural water pool to the spa area, it is such a peaceful and relaxed environment.
. The food was good and portions huge, but it is a bit more pricier than in town. Except on Mondays when you can try local cuisine for half the price. I absolutely fell in love with their cashew turmeric & cinnamon’ latte! I don’t know how I can even be without it anymore. You can also take some yoga classes or relax in their natural pool.
They have a big sunbathing area where you can watch dragonflies fly above your head while you drink some coconut and catch some rays. To make your stay even more relaxing you can use infrared sauna or a steam room. I think it would be a perfect place to do some serious detox because their infrared sauna was especially good. They also offer some massages etc, but for that you definitely have to do a reservation at least a day before, because as I understood there is only one girl who does everything and she was very busy. Everyone who worked there were really friendly and helped us always with our weird requests and were always happy and smiling. I think this resort is a true pearl in Cambodia and I would definitely stay there again.
We loved the room we moved into the following night. Private bathroom and double bed. Clean, spacious, and cool, really pleasant.
Facilities are great, a pool (natural) and jacuzzi were really lovely to use.
Atmosphere really chilled with plenty of seating and relaxing areas, a lovely vibe all around.
Best to hire motorbikes to access as off the beaten path, but a tuk tuk would take you. We liked the tranquility by being out of town, and on route to the national park.
Highly recommend if you’re backpacking and you want a tranquil break in a different place to your normal, that is affordable.

This is a very cool place with a pleasant garden facing the river. The food is good, the place is clean, the managers are very kind and the resort is charming.
The location is a bit far from Kampot center but just a few minutes with a scooter or a tuk tuk (that the price to pay for the tranquility).
It is at the river approx. 5 min away from the city of Kampot with a fantastic view on the river, very relaxing, 2 pools, a nice bar and restaurant and helpful staff, you can rent motorbikes, a tuk tuk or tours.
Both the Khmer- staff and the Western management are very friendly and professional. In the reception they may assist you with anything you need of tickets for tour’s, information about the places you should visit, rent out equipment for water- activities, etc.
Good variety of food and drinks on the menu! 2 pools, and a small beach by the river to enjoy both the sun and a very nice view.
Beautiful quiet property right on the river. A 2 min tuk tuk ride into town (they also let you rent scooters for $6USD a day). Facilities were clean and staff attentive. Saw a review ripping on the food- this is nonsense. You’re in Kampot, a small idyllic town, not in a major metropolitan area. Food was fine. Nice bar set up and it was actually easy to meeting interesting people. Would recommend to anyone.

Guests at Boutique Kampot Hotel can enjoy a continental or a buffet breakfast.
The location is an easy walking distance to the riverfront and the durian roundabout (smallish night market). The location is good, and far enough from the main road.
The hotel is on a side road, close to cafes and not far from the river. It is has a pretty yellow exterior over 6 floors, so not too high and still in keeping. The rooms are very well appointed for a provincial town. If you can, go for a suite. We particularly liked the tiling and design of the showers. The view from the balcony and bathroom was stunning, as we could see the Bokhor mountain. The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets.
Love sleepy Kampot with its heritage buildings and riverside vibe.
The owners of Boutique Kampot Hotel obviously feel the same, from the hotel’s European-inspired façade to the vintage artefacts that adorn the lobby.
Best of all, the rooms are enormous and a great place to come home to after walking the town.
Breakfast was simple (order from an a la carte menu) but good, as was the WiFi.
Best of all, the hotel is tucked away on a quiet side street, an easy 5-minute walk to the Old Quarter with its great (and cheap!) international eats and the picturesque riverside where boats await to go on sunset cruises.
Highly recommended place to stay in town.
