Movenpick Shuwaikh is one of the best hotels in Kuwait, if you are looking for a nice quiet place away from the noise, this is your place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food quality and taste is amazing. Do not miss the Thursday barbecue night at the pool.
In general good hotel and excellent service with a variety of diner possibilities. Beds are nice and some complimentary tea’s daily available.
The Hotel and the servicing are great. They have good staff for servicing. I really enjoy it. I hope I will visit Movenpick again. The foods and all meals are very delicious. The rooms are very nice with their large. The view from my room is spectacular.
The hotel is very comfortable with excellent restaurants and a very friendly attentive staff. The swimming pool is large and the grounds are pleasant and well kept. When the weather was nice they have an outdoor barbecue that is most enjoyable.
The food is always fresh in the main dining room and the staff makes sure you have a good experience.
The hotel itself is lovely. The art work and attention to detail inside is beautiful. The rooms are clean and a good size.
The free bus to Avenues Mall and the Souq on certain days is very useful and convenient, a great touch.
The hotels location is not ideal for exploring the city. It is in the free trade area next to the port so the surrounding area is very industrial. A taxi to the center was 10KD (30 euro) which was very pricy for the distance. Also, there are major road works going on so many sections of roads were closed so it was a little like a maze getting there.
Overall I enjoyed my stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are wonderful.
The rooms are large, comfortable and clean.
During the evening is possible stay in the lobby lounge and listening piano live music (Very good).
The hotel restaurant it’s excellent, the menu offer many different choices and the food is really well cooked. They has also a gym and a garden where is possible stay and relaxing.
. The property is tastefully decorated with artwork that is a wonderful representation of the culture and history of Kuwait. The Hotel has beautiful grounds and a lovely swimming pool. We went during Ramadan and had the Iftar buffet and breakfast in the morning. The food is excellent. I have been to many iftar buffets but this one was by far the best. The buffet was a bit too crowded but thankfully in-house guest was seated in the tearoom and not within the noisy restaurant.
The staff at this Hotel are simply amazing. Joyce and princess at the reception were very helpful and made sure we had a very comfortable stay. Their warm smiles and jovial nature really made the stay even more pleasant. I found it amazing that despite the hot weather and the busy time of year, the staff always had a smile on their face and were always ready to make sure all our needs were taken care off.
The rooms were well decorated, clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and extra blankets were provided when asked for.
Would definitely visit again and it is the only place to stay while in Kuwait.

The Hilton Garden Inn is a very new hotel in an Amazing location for visitors as it is connected to the huge and impressive Avenues Mall.
The bed was comfortable and we had a good sleep every night except the first where there was a problem in the bathroom with a leak. However I will not say much more as the hotel responded and we were moved for convenience to another room which was equally nice. The rest of the stay was very comfortable in the room.
Breakfast is quite good and if you have children or like a waffle, you will enjoy the make your own waffles section.
Room service is 24 hours but this was one of the few areas that needed improvement. We were involved with an exhibition all day and were getting back to the hotel between midnight and 1 am and wanting a quick bit in the room before sleeping. One night it took nearly 50 minutes to get an answer from room service another night we gave up.
The hotel has direct access to the Avenues so very convenient if you have time you want to use or enjoy shopping. There are many restaurants as well to give you a good range of options.
