Good room clean modern with hard floor hence clean, no carpet to worry about. Good Wifi modern bathroom and good air conditioning. I worked easily in room on table and chairs. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection to choose from. The staff could not have been more helpful. Plenty of places to park as well nearby and a short walk across the downtown. Definitely try out the roof bar.
This is an excellent modern hotel close to the centre of the city. A notch or two up from a Novotel. Cool, well-designed feel to the public areas and rooms. Nothing, though, that tells you you’re in Leipzig, but if that doesn’t matter, then it’s a good-value, stylish choice.
Excellent buffet breakfast made even more enjoyable by the astonishing cheerfulness of the staff.
The location of the hotel is great for a first visit to the city, only a short walk into the café bar and shopping area, perfect. (about 15 min walk from the central train station). The hotel itself is very modern with nice rooms and a good shower, again perfect. The breakfast was also great, very good selection of food for a modest price, so don’t miss out the most important meal of the day.
Innside is an excellent choice. It’s comfortably located just a few minutes walk from towns center and most of the interesting sites of beautiful Leipzig. The Room is spacious with plenty of storage space. The free minibar was a real uncommon treat. Very clean, lots of light, wifi works just fine, and the service is friendly and efficient.
If you come with a car, I would recommend using the public parking on Zentralstrasse for 8 euro a day, rather than the hotel’s parking for 20 euro. It’s only 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel is very clean, great shower, comfortable bed/pillows, and the staff was wonderful. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants. We wish we had more time to explore around town. The bartenders were very friendly and made great drinks.
Melia Innside clearly is my favourite place to stay in Leipzig; as such we know what we are getting in terms of service, room and breakfast.
HOWEVER, now it just opened the rooftop bar Cabana – this is quite a nice one, with a great view of Thomaskirche plus city. its new, stylish and you can enjoy a Weissbier or an exotic drink there, nice place. recommend for the start of the day/night
The room is a bit on the small side, but is nicely decorated and has all amenities. Bathroom is large and nice. Everything was recently renovated.
The location is very convenient, some 6-7 minutes walk from the city center, but is also very quiet.
Would definitely consider this hotel again on our next Leipzig visit.

Just a short (maybe 10-minute) walk from the train station, this adorable boutique hotel was easy to find; the staff was courteous & helpful; our room furniture was Ikea-like (as a previous reviewer stated), but it worked just fine and the room was quite large. Walking distance to almost everything; easy tram access to everything else. Breakfast room and breakfast were lovely. We would definitely stay here again.
The location was excellent for us and just a 10-12 minute walk from the main train station. It is a 1 minute walk from the market square and also a short walk to all the major sites within the “ring”. The hotel check-in host was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was quiet and spacious and well appointed.
We would be delighted to stay here again! A fine breakfast is available for purchase.
It is a pleasant small hotel with the entrance and rooms facing a courtyard in the center of the city. It is only about a 5-7 min walk from the train station. My room and bathroom were large, especially to Europe standards, and furnished with a nice design. The breakfast buffet was small but the food was good. Hotel and breakfast staff members were friendly.
The hotel is in a renovated building that is built around a traditional courtyard about 100 metres from the main market square in Leipzig. Our room #10 was very large with high ceilings, great bed and bathroom.

GASTRONOMY The breakfast buffet at the Arthotel ANA Symphonie is legendary: And anyone who has ever been a guest in one of our ANA Arthotels is still raving about it: In addition to live cooking, a rich selection of hot and cold dishes, fruit, vitamin-rich juices and a generous selection of cereals and fresh bakery products are left unfulfilled! Of course, lactose and gluten-free food and drinks are abundant.
The coffee specialties come from the traditional Munich house Dallmayr and are available to our guests also outside of the breakfast times at any time free of charge.
The Arthotel ANA Symphonie was nice for our 5-night stay in Leipzig. My complaints are just on some minor things. The room was a little small – we were in Germany for a decent amount of time and had full-size luggage, and it was a little challenging having room to open them. I was also disappointed that the room did not have a mini-fridge.
The desk in the room had a cabinet that could fit one, but it was empty. We often purchase water (and often food) the night before if we have something going on the next day, so there was nowhere to keep beverages cold or food safe. It was also a little strange having to keep the television on in order to use the Wi-Fi.
Overall, none of these things were major issues and I would still recommend the hotel – just some possible suggestions to the hotel for improvements and to guests to be aware of the lack of fridge. The room did have temperature control so that was really nice, especially because it was extremely hot outside. The bathroom was also pretty spacious and had a nice upper counter level to store belongings. The front desk staff always greeted us when we came and went and seemed pretty nice. We also felt the hotel was very well-located – an easy walk to the main train station, shopping, and nice restaurants. Overall, a pretty nice hotel.
The Art Hotel is in a truly great location in central Leipzig. The room was much larger than we expected, given our experiences in other city hotels in Europe, with high ceilings and an entire wall of floor-to-ceiling windows. Beds very comfortable and nice bathroom and shower. The breakfast was really good with a fair amount of variety, including hot items, and was very reasonably priced. The main downsides were (a) no direct access by car, and (b) the air conditioning in our room was “just ok.” The lobby was considerably cooler than our room.
The street on which the hotel is located (Hainstraße) has no car access most of the time, which is great except for when you are trying to find the hotel by car, unload bags, etc.
Breakfast great with a good selection of both hot and cold items and also great coffee. The breakfast coupons that are required (one for each breakfast) was a bit fuzzy, since you easily forgot at your room and have to return to pick it up. Would have been much easier if they had the same procedure as most hotels have – that you just tell your room number.
Anyway, service in reception and restaurant is ok, but the location is really great! You are in the middle of everything and have lots of restaurants around the corner and shopping possibilities as well.
