The staff are so friendly and nothing seems a problem for them at all. The entertainment staff are brilliant during the day. There is a lifeguard on duty all the time the pool is open. Breakfast is nice and plenty of choice. We ate at the restaurant once and it did not disappoint.
This hotel is perfect if you do not want to stay within the hustle and bustle of Lloret de Mar, however if you do want to venture out it’s not too far from the main town and local bus station.
The room was spacious and had amazing views out over lloret from floor Rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh toiletries were supplied.
Hotel was spotlessly clean, bars and restaurant and communal areas were comfy, chic and well presented. Buffet breakfast had a reasonable selection of good quality products. Room was comfortable with a spacious private balcony.
Beach was around 10 15 minutes walk it was a stoney beach not proper sand but still nice enough. Turn right out of the hotel and keep walking you’ll find plenty of shops and restaurants that are open till late and are cheap and cheerful.

The beach facing room was a nice size with a great view and the rooftop pool, although small, was a great place to escape.
A brand new boutique style hotel right on seafront in the best bit of Lloret de Mar with the beach only metres away and beautiful for swimming and sunbathing – price was amazing value at around 110 euros for half board and a great sea view room – hotel has a buffet style Supper which is very fresh and varied with a chef cooking fresh seafood etc to your requirements and a very quiet dining area with restaurant feel – the shopping areas of the town are minutes from hotel and give an excuse for a shady walk – lovely seafront to stroll along at night – the hotel staff are all very friendly and efficient and the rooms a generous size with large walk in showers and very good air conditioning and comfy beds – and balconies on all seafront rooms – ours was a Juliette style but makes room very light and airy – with stunning view to wake up to – a rooftop pool has sunbeds and bar and great view over resort – but will get hot so head for beach with a brolly ! Fantastic hotel and outstanding value – and very Uber cool style.
This is a wonderful new hotel with a nice pool on the roof where you can enjoy views over all of Lloret. The beach is right in front, 50 meters away. It is located on the North en of Lloret, away from the hustle and bustle of the main street yet still close to the center of town.
The food was very good, and the dining experience is very relaxing and cosy. The staff are very nice and helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel, it is one of the best in Lloret.

The location was spot on for us as a few others have said, 2 minutes from a stunning beach and 10 minutes to the main nightlife, which would usually cost around 6 euros each way.
The hotel overall was beautiful and very clean, although the rooms where a little small they were fine for us.
The location to the beach was great as it was a few minutes walk. The hotel is in a good location as it is away from the town but not too far to walk if you don’t mind a 20 minute walk. The buses also go into town and are frequent.
The room overlooked the gardens and had sun in the morning. All the facility’s were good , clean bedding and clean towels every day. The food again was superb from a choice of breads meats hot breakfast fruit yoghurt and cereals. Omelettes eggs, toasted sandwiches pancakes etc were all cooked to your liking. As at the evening meal the meat of the day I.e. pork steak, beef steak, chicken etc cooked fresh .
A good salad bar , desserts especially the millefeuille were delicious with enough choice, if the food was not hot enough for your taste then there was a microwave to use. The pool area is small with plenty of sunbeds, but I imagine in the height of the season there will be a rush for them . You can have bar service round the pool and in the garden. The beach is only two minutes walk and there is lots of space there.
There is free wifi throughout the hotel. My experience was that it worked perfectly around reception but was patchy in the room and outside. Sometimes it worked fine, other times not at all.
Location of the hotel is ideal. Not immediately surrounded by bars, clubs or other hotels, all of which are a short stroll away. Very quiet area generally. Less than a gentle 5 minutes walk to the Fenels beach and promenade. Lloret-de-Mar itself is 10 minutes walk away. This involves 5 mins walk straight uphill followed by 5 mins walk straight downhill. If that’s too strenuous, then the bus stop is straight across the street.
The rooms are basic with a distinct lack of furniture. We had one bedside table, one chair and one small table designed to put your bags on. There was a built-in cupboard to hang clothes, this also contained a safe. A flat-screen TV on the wall worked perfectly. As usual, there are very few English speaking channels.
The air conditioning also worked perfectly as did the key-card entry system. I noticed that the ‘patio’ doors out to the small balcony looked relatively new.
No fridge. No kettle. Some toiletries supplied. Bathroom has a hair dryer. Tiled floors. Shower-head was brand new and there was copious amounts of hot water.
With all of the above said, everything was very clean and tidy. Chambermaids work hard. Floor mopped every day. Clean towels every day. No issues.

The location is a couple of minutes walk from the bus station and also from the beachfront. It is on the main strip so is busy with tourists.It is a large , family friendly hotel and we stayed on a full board basis which is very good value. The food has been different each day with lots of choice and flavours.The pool is not hugh but plenty big enough.The hotel is not super modern but is clean and rooms come with a balcony.
The hotel itself is well positioned in Lloret, a short walk to the beach and the shops are right outside, as are bars and clubs – everything you could need to offer a distraction from the limited WiFi capabilities on offer. It would be a great place to come if you wanted to sit on the beach or play in the pool, but for those who want to watch videos over the internet it is lacking in one very important area.
Hotel is well situated, set back very short distance from promenade and yet only 2 minutes walk to main bus station.
Our room on the 5th floor had been completely refurbished to a good standard, with traditional styled Catalan furniture. Room and bathroom not huge but of adequate size and comfortable. Everything throughout appeared to have been finished well and all the new fittings were of high quality. Bed was comfortable and mattress had obviously seen little use. Throughout hotel, mostly everything appeared to be new including in foyer and restaurant.
All the staff were extra efficient and most polite, albeit they could appear aloof compared to staying in Htop hotels where seeking tips upon leaving. Clearly this hotel is well managed and
able to remain quite profitable when almost all other hotels in Lloret have long closed for the season.
Would I recommend this hotel?
Well yes certainly, based upon our experience of it. However, because of its situation being so central, things are probably much different in the warmer months with the likely noise from all the surrounding clubs and bars. Also, I suspect that the Helios Lloret will always cater mainly for Spanish and French speaking clients and so other nationalities may not meet too many others staying to make new friends.
Lloret itself in January can be glorious, with the sunny days we enjoyed. Never experienced such empty promenades and beaches, which we had almost to ourselves on weekdays. Only just enough bars stay open for a few hours on beach fronts, where in obvious spots to enjoy a beer in the sun. Getting around by bus and train remains just as easy.

Starting from the cozy and bright design to the delicious cuisine served here. Our room was small but comfortable, on the 4th floor with a view on the Sould park (yeah, it was really noisy, even at 11 p.m, but if you close the balcony door you will be able to sleep well ??). Getting to the beach takes about 7 minutes, to the bus station – 3(you can get to Barcelona from here for 10€, but it’s better to use Bla Bla car for 5€) and to the Main Street –
The best and cheapest supermarket nearby is Bonpreu. The personnel in the hotel speak French, German and Russian as well as Spanish. Also it was a surprise that almost every evening here is a life music near the swimming pool.
