This place is amazing. Apartments are big, spacious and excellent equipped. Furniture is new and everything is clean. Bed is huge and very comfortable
The best of all in my opinion was the wellness area: very well equipped with sauna, jacuzzi, showers, toilets, relaxing chairs, music, drinks and everything you need to be comfortable and you can use it in private for €10 per person for 2 hours; although when I booked the room I thought the spa was included on the price we were happy to pay anyway because we had a perfect time).
It shows how a hotel with self-catering apartments can operate to high environmental standards and provide a brilliant service. The rooms are well equipped, spacious and modern and there is a ‘wellness centre’ if you need it. The hotel is in a wonderful, quiet location just below ski lifts to the mountains which are great for walking and cycling out of the skiing season. The manager and staff are helpful and friendly and the cost is not high.
It has nice location overlooking hills of Pohorje. Apartments are huge, spacious with nice living area and kitchen wich will meet you every need. It is clean , beds are huge and comfy, bathrooms spotless with huge tub and all supplies you might need. The balcony is huge with wooden table and chairs and it is so quiet that it feels like you are alone in the woods.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city of Maribor. I could reach it from the train station very easily, and I could go around the city without too much hassle at any time of day or night. Staff is very friendly and check in was really easy.
Breakfast was good, you could find any sort of thing, from sweet stuff such as croissants, jam and chocolate spread, to eggs, bacon, ham and cheese.
Hotel is located few meters away from the old town. Nearby you have plenty of restaurants. Rooms are normal for this type of hotel, breakfast can be slightly better, juice from machine, coffee from machine, average choice of food.
A very conviniently located hotel, you even have to drive across a pedestrian square to park. The hotel is a basic place to sleep, shower and eat breakfast in between city sightseeing. The old town of maribor is the main attraction for this hotel.
The hotel is in the center of Maribor, and it has its own parking just next to it. We stayed as a couple for two nights. The double bed room was quite big with a spacious bathroom and a toilet as a separate. High water pressure and hot water in the shower is something we appreciated. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
Overall – great location in the center of old town in short walking distance to all sightseeing places, restaurants, shops etc., excellent breakfast and staff very friendly and helpful, good Wifi. Thank you for all.

This hotel was easily accessible from the train station. The reception was excellent and for an English only speaker, it was very pleasantly welcoming. The room was excellent and location within the city was ideal. Our room overlooked the river and the bathroom was huge and luxurious. I would stay here every time.

The Hotel City Maribor is located in the center of Maribor. Even the train station is within walking distance (about 15 minutes). The room was spacious, the design fashionable, and the equipment very modern – apart from the non-working TV. The bathroom was big and also nicely designed, beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful – the problem with our non-working key card was quickly solved. The breakfast buffet offered everything needed, and the restaurant on the roof terrace with river view was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and the obliging service. Excellent value-for-money ratio.
