Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights in the United States have evolved in recent decades. However, LGBT Americans may still face some legal and many social challenges not experienced by non-LGBT residents, particularly in states with large conservative populations, such as in the Deep South; in rural areas; and in some Native American tribal nations.
U.S. federal law does not explicitly include protections against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. In June 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that sexual orientation and gender identity are included under “sex” as a prohibited ground of employment discrimination in the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The suite was huge, and featured a wonderful modern wine country vibe. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower, double vanity and huge soaking tub.

The hotel is large and is located in an excellent part of town. We walked to Oxbow Market, Model bakery (both are delicious) and some other bars in the downtown area. The check in staff was friendly and the wine tasting each day was nice. We had a two bedroom two bath suite and it was perfect for our group and less expensive than getting two rooms at some of the other local hotels.
It’s not a boutique or trendy hotel but it had everything we needed and we were very happy. Parking is free and we had no issues getting our car to go to the wineries. I would definitely stay here again.
Very good location close to the Oxbow Market, a trendy collection of small restaurant spaces within a large building. Walking distance to downtown Napa but there is plenty of free parking in that area if you don’t want to walk.
There is a $20/day resort fee that includes valet parking with in/out privileges. There is no self-parking even though you can park out on the street without charge, if you don’t want to wait for the valet. It also includes a daily wine tasting in the lobby. During our stay, moderately priced wines were featured (around $30/bottle) so it’s not cheap Gallo wine but it’s certainly not Duckhorn Vineyards either.
We absolutely adored our stay at the Westin Verasa Napa. The location was wonderful; we were able to walk to Oxbow Public Market, Gott’s, and many other nearby spots. The hotel also offered shuttle service in the evenings on the weekend, so we were easily able to explore the adorable downtown area!
The hotel also offered nightly wine tastings from different local vineyards, which was a nice way to unwind at the end of the day. The lounge/restaurant in the lobby was also lovely and had many great menu selections.
Oh, and to top it off, they had a Peloton in the fitness center, which was awesome! The rest of the fitness center was lovely too – a good number of machines and other equipment, plus chilled towels, water, and earbuds.
We loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back.
The hotel is in an ideal location in downtown Napa to base your wine country activities. Walking distance to Oxbow Public Market, the Culinary Institute of America and the rest of downtown Napa, this Westin can’t be beat for location. As has been mentioned many numerous times in the reviews, the suites are spacious – you’re swimming in space with multiple bathrooms, a dining area/kitchen and a sitting area. The suites are appointed nicely and housekeeping keeps the whole thing very clean. It’s valet parking and the valet is very helpful. The fitness center is adequate but can get crowded at peak times due to lack of equipment/space.
This property is close to Oxbow Market. A little walk from downtown Napa. Quiet and spacious rooms. We had a King suite with a large living room, dining area, full kitchen, patio, 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Very friendly and professional staff. Wine tastings and free massage in the lobby the day we arrived. Pool area is small but pleasant and cabanas are on a first come first to get it basis. They are free which is a nice perk! Drinks are not cheap but bartender was friendly. Beautiful walking path behind hotel. Would recommend and would stay again.
Nice relaxing resort in the Oxbow district within walking distance of the public market, wine tasting rooms and several restaurants. We enjoyed a suite that had a full kitchen. Room was large and well appointed. We tried the Bank cafe for a late dinner and also for breakfast. Good service and food was very good. There is a complimentary wine tasting in the late afternoon. Large lobby bar and also a Michelin rated restaurant on the property, La Toque. Nice walking paths and quite scenic.

We stayed in one of the small cottages and were immediately impressed with the cleanliness and consideration put into the room. Our cottage had a personal sauna, a very nice perk!
The restaurant is next-level good. We both decided it was our favorite dinner ever, without a question.
We also had spa services here and the spa was magnificent.
It was such a relaxing and luxurious time, I highly recommend staying here if you’re booking a trip to Sonoma county.
