Lesbiangaybisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights in the United States have evolved in recent decades. However, LGBT Americans may still face some legal and many social challenges not experienced by non-LGBT residents, particularly in states with large conservative populations, such as in the Deep South; in rural areas; and in some Native American tribal nations.

U.S. federal law does not explicitly include protections against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. In June 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that sexual orientation and gender identity are included under “sex” as a prohibited ground of employment discrimination in the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in the U.S. state of Florida may face legal challenges not experienced by non-LGBT residents. Same-sex sexual activity became legal in the state after the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Lawrence v. Texas on June 26, 2003, and same-sex marriage has been legal in the state since January 6, 2015.
The Florida cities were all highlighted for their year-round sunshine and lack of state income tax. Wilton Manors, Fort Lauderdale, Naples Florida, Miami Beach and Oakland Park  ranked among the most-demand gayfriendly cities for LGBTQ travelers during the holidays.
Naples has a long history of being a  gay friendly town and in downtown we can find a few gay friendly bars as well as Bambusa Bar & Grill – Naples or Yabba Island Grill are the most famous gay friendly bars in Naples, FL.
Naples is a city on the Gulf of Mexico in southwest Florida that’s known for high-end shopping and golf courses. The Naples Pier, first erected in 1888, is the city’s symbol, and is a popular fishing and dolphin-spotting destination. It’s flanked by miles of beaches with calm waters and fine white “sugar” sand, including those at Clam Pass Park and Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park.

We have already started working on a return trip in the near future.

The room was extremely clean and had a some overall amenities that we didn’t need to buy i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, soaps, shampoos and dishwashing soap. Fully stocked utensils, various glassware, and plates in the kitchen.

People in administration and who worked at the resort were extremely professional helpful and courteous.

The pool was a great temperature, very clean, on the waitstaff was attentive.

First thing about the property is how clean it is. The main lobby is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The Gulfcoast Inn is a reasonable alternative to major brand name hotels.
It quite funny that you pay more money for a brand name hotels and you sometimes get less. The little touches of accordion towel arrangement makes you feel welcome.
The rooms are quite nice with hardwood floors and comfortable beds. I had a double room on the second floor. My room had a recliner reading chair with a lamp and a sitting table with two chairs. A microwave with refrigerator/ freezer. Coffee maker and alarm clock with in-room iron and board.
The TV is on the wall with direct tv and HBO. The remote control is wrapped in plastic.

The swimming pool was nice and warm. The air temp was 61 degrees but the pool was so warm and inviting.

I went to their Japanese Restaurant that a chef prepares the food in-front of me on a hot grill. I had Steak and Chicken combination. It came with Soup, Salad, Delicious Mixed Vegetables and my Combination Steak and Sesame Chicken.

The Gulfcoast Inn also a bar and another restaurant that has comfort foods and drink. It also has sushi bar.

The pool area always had plenty of towels. The breakfast was amazing. We had a very enjoyable stay. This is a great place and in a great location.

We booked the basic ‘King Room’, but it felt so much like a suite. The room featured a small kitchen with a sink, fridge, microwave and coffee machine. The Bathroom was very nice with huge shower! And we even got our own private Balcony. There was free breakfast in the morning, much more than the usual continental breakfast you’ve come to expect from these places.

This is one of the Best, Best Westerns that I have stayed in ever. Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillow. Nice large fitness area with modern equipment and plenty of TV’s. Full breakfast.
