Located in the heart of Naples, a 5-minute walk from the Church of Santa Chiara and 500 m from the harbour, Hotel Le Orchidee offers air-conditioned rooms with a TV.
Le Orchidee Hotel features a 24-hour reception and internet point. A typical Italian breakfast is served at the café downstairs.
Le Orchidee has good public transport links around Naples. Stazione Napoli Centrale is a 20-minute walk away, while ferries to Sicily, Capri and Ischia depart from the harbour nearby.
This property is 6 minutes walk from the beach. Located in the heart of Naples, a 5-minute walk from the Church of Santa Chiara and 500 m from the harbour, Hotel Le Orchidee offers air-conditioned rooms with a TV.
Clean and large well equipped room with a small balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money. Fantastic location in the heart of Naples, close to the metro station and historic city centre. Extremely good value for money.
The location of this hotel couldn’t be handier, right in the centre and the new metro has just opened literally right outside the door I would also recommend the restaurant at the bottom “il’pomperdora” I think it was called.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were big and very clean. Breakfast was limited but find always managed to find something I liked.
Extremely large and clean room, impeccable service every day by friendly and polite staff, located in a fascinating early 19c palazzo with an astonishing view on a typical Neapolitan Piazza and the Vomero hill with S. Martino monastery overlooking our balcony.
Can be noisy if you sleep with windows open in summer but this is a vibrant 24h style city, there’s always something going on or it wouldn’t be Naples. Otherwise, given the elegant solid structure of the building, you wouldn’t hear a fly. The location is very good, with a University metro stop round the corner, the central station and the ferry port at walking distance.
Our room had enough space to stay and function in with a quite big and comfortable bed; was clean up every day and the towels were changed as well.
Breakfast means a croissant (with chocolate, jam or pudding) and coffee served in the restaurant on the corner. The restaurant with good prices, kind waiters, fully crowded in weekends.
The main door of the hotel is very hard to open that brings a nice impression that you stay in a castle, an antique elevator for money never know when you have to put the coins to start (in the whole 4-day stay we have paid once ), but using the stairs to reach the 5th floor only for heroes or people in a good form 🙂
Very friendly atmosphere is created by the people working there. The guys are very kind and always willing to help. It was no problem to leave our luggages after check out until late evening.

Fresh, nice B&B in the middle of Naples. The room had all we wanted and was very clean. Good beds and space to put your luggage. The breakfast was a fine continental one, and we could use the breakfast room to have a drink with our friends staying there, before going out in the evenings.
The breakfast was simple, but more than adequate, choice of pastries, cereals, meats, cheese and fruits. The location is just perfect, right next to Universita metro, so travelling in any direction was so easy.
A great BB in such a grand building. We were taken aback at how good it was. Located off the Main Street, through an arch, huge gate into a courtyard, quirky lift upto the second floor.
Rooms were very clean, only moans wound be the towels were not changed during our 5 days and no courtesy room if you have a late flight.
Breakfast was good, self service, cereal, fruit, toast, juice, danish, croissants etc. We would certainly return as it was a great base / location to explore from next to universita metro.

Romeo hotel’s gastronomic offer includes a refined Lobby Bar and the Michelin Star awarded gourmet restaurant Il Comandante on the 10th floor. An authentic luxury experience.
The hotel is easily in walking distance of some of the tourist attractions – while Naples itself is filthy, I would recommend a visit to Napoli Sotterranea which is only a short walk from the hotel.
Hotel itself is amazing. Michelin restaurant on the top floor, 3000+sq ft gym with free weights, machine and cardio. Location is in the port so great for cruising to Capri or taking a car to Pompeii. Rooms are very modern and well built. Clearly the owner or owning group of this hotel knows a high quality product line.
The Romeo Hotel is situated close to the old city and the ferry harbour of Naples. It is the perfect location to be staying when you are in Naples. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the ferry terminals where you can get a boat bringing you to Capri, Procida or the Amalfi coast. It’s also close to the old city where you find the best Pizza places and other great restaurants. However, especially US travellers must get used to the fact, that the hotel rooms are rather small. The roof terrace offers a spectacular view over the harbour and the Vesuvio.
The staff at the hotel is very friendly, helpful and very professional. Everyone from the receptionists, the bell captain, waiters and the chamber mates are just great.
The room was very modern, but classy too. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The one very small complaint was I struggled a bit with the lights and other switches. For instance the drapes were on a motorized system and the controls were by the bed. But if that’s my only complaint, then they’re doing well.
The breakfast was very nice and filling with a beautiful presentation. The location was good as you could walk to many places in the old city of Naples including shopping. Also it’s very close to the cruise ship port so if you were leaving or arriving this would be a perfect hotel. Definitely give this property high marks.
Everything about this hotel was amazing! Located across from the harbor area with a view of Mt. Vesuvius and Capri, this luxury boutique hotel is only a few minutes walk from the old city and many of the city’s sights.
The interior is modern and inviting with Japanese inspired design elements, and offers multiple bars, rooftop dining and pool, and a gym and spa (we did not eat at the restaurant or enjoy the spa or gym).
The breakfast buffet is very nice, offering views of Mt Vesuvius and with coffee and eggs made to order. We booked a deluxe room with a harbor view, which was roomy and comfortable with a king size bed and walk in shower (the bathroom design is a bit queer in that you must walk through the toilet room to access the shower).
All of the exceptional staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, recommending and helping us to reserve tables at amazing local restaurants, bringing us their delicious Naples sfogliatelle pastries during breakfast, and quickly switching our room’s ventilation from heat to a/c when we complained of the heat. The king-size bed was truly large with lots of pillows, although the mattress was a bit hard and the sheets seemed rough.
The hotel is very lovely and modern especially the wellness suite which boasts a personal sauna, steam-room and jacuzzi – which we made the most of.

Excellent location just off the waterfront. Easy walking distance to local attractions and city centre, also close to public buses & metro.
Excellent location in the city, great neighborhood: it is on the bank of the sea, close to downtown, places to see, and Molo Beverello from which it is very comfortable to go to airport, Capri island, Pompei, Vesuvio, etc.
Ideal location only a stone’s throw from Castel Del Ovo and the marina with lots of restaurants to choose from; half a mile to the tube station, ferry terminal & bus tour stops.
The room was large and clean a/c good and breakfasts were fine no complaints everything went satisfactory would recommend.
The area of the city is much cleaner and quieter than other parts. The view from the entrance was beautiful, and we were warmly welcomed with a front desk attendant who spoke to us in English and gave us recommendations around the city.
Our room was spacious and included a mini fridge, and the air conditioning was really good (for American standards). Castel del’Ovo is almost across the street and is surrounded by many delicious waterfront seafood restaurants.
The hotel is very quaint and cute. There is no elevator but a bellhop takes your luggage to your room. The location is perfect, however be aware that a cab ride from the train station can take a long time due to crazy traffic in Naples.
he hotel is perfect walking distance 10/15 mins to the metro so getting around was easy and this area was a really nice part of Pompeii.
The hotel itself had very friendly staff, rooms were as expected for a 3 star, simple yet nice.
Breakfast was perfect for getting the day off to a good start and prepping for 20k plus steps a day.
The location of the hotel was superb. You step out of the front door to views of the bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The local Metro station is a 15 minute stroll away, as is the port and you have plenty of restaurants and facilities just round the corner.
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful even before we turned up, making sure that the room was ready early as we were on an early flight in. The room was very nice and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and a nice hot shower. Breakfast was superb and the breakfast area doubles up as a nice area for a drink in the evenings. Coffee, tea and water was always available and the free wifi was good. We cannot find fault with anything. This place is a gem.

Getting to the hotel from the airport:
Buy a bus ticket for Alibus in the airport, it makes it easier when you get to the bus. Take the Alibus from airport to the central station (Garibaldi Station).
If you are coming into Naples by train, you will come into the Garibaldi station.
Garibaldi Station:
Get on L1 metro line. Should be starting point so the endpoint is not needed. It could be Aversa Centro. Get off the Toledo stop and walk to hotel. The hotel is right next to the Toledo stop, 3 min walk.
I highly recommend you download the Rick Steves’ Audio Europe app. It’s free and has a free city walk tour to take on your own. It was amazing and shows you parts of town you might not see.
For craft beer drinkers:
We found a craft beer bar with lots of beers on tap and a ton in bottles/cans. We had a great double IPA on tap. They have popcorn and if you sit at the bar, they keep your bowl full. The bar is called Mosto and can be found using google maps. The neighborhood is much more upscale with stores like Rolex, Louis Vuitton and other high end.
The position of the hotel is excellent, just off via Toledo, the main shopping street, 10 mins from the old city and 10 mins to the port where you can catch a ferry to any of the islands in the bay of Naples. Toledo Metro station is 100m from the from door. Naples is such a vibrant city and this is a great place to stay if your visiting.
The room was clean and comfortable, with stunning views across Naples. If I was being very picky, my only complaint would be the lack of shelving space in the bathroom. Apart from this no complaints at all.
The bar on the top floor of the restaurant is great, excellent prices and good wine selection. The staff are always extremely helpful and friendly.
The hotel is ideally located right next to Toledo underground station, with most places you’d want to go reachable by foot. We love this hotel, it is the second time we have stayed here and would definitely come again! Thank you for a wonderful break.
This is a great place to stay. Absolutely central: metro stop 100m outside the door, 2 stops to the museum and 3 stops to Garibaldi station for Pompeii/Herculaneum.
The decor of the hotel feels brand new.
The room and bathroom were very nice indeed, walk-in shower, all fixtures and fittings gleaming and in good order, powerful shower, always a bonus.
What is really lovely is the lovely modern restaurant/bar and terrace on the roof. It’s a spectacular view across the bay of Naples and the city, perfect for a bottle of wine. Breakfast was very nice indeed, including a fresh honeycomb every day. Fresh fruit (sweet and lovely) and pastries came with hot alternatives.
I would highly recommend this hotel for any length of stay in the city.
