The hotel facilities are brilliant two large pools and roof top terrace with hot tubs for over 18s, plenty of sun beds so no ridiculous cues or fights over loungers.
Supermarket on site was half full and very basic and expensive. There is a supermarket just up the hill to the left of they are fairly priced and everything you need. Down the hill next to the Knights in is another supermarket that have a variety of stuff.
It is easy to get around by the local buses but I would recommended buying a bus card H10 gets you 10 trips for around 15 euros and a H20 gets you 20 trips for Just under 30 euros it is well worth doing it as a single journey is around 2-3 euros each way.
There is a small beach down the hill at the side of the bus shop or you can walk further up past the knights inn put to Platja De LLarga that is a larger beach with sun loungers costing 5 euros each and they have sport activities. Salou because the sun loungers are the same price but does get packed.

Rooms are luxurious and comfortable, with excellent sheets and pillows which were changed regularly throughout our week long stay, as were the soft, clean towels. The addition of clean pool towels was excellent as well. We loved the rainfall shower, the huge tv with Netflix and Amazon prime apps (handy for an evening in relaxing as it’s an adult’s only hotel) the coffee machine (although it would have been nice to be able to buy some pods in the hotel as well as the 2 provided free each day) the fridge with free water each day, and the high security bluetooth safe.
The ice machine on the end of the corridor is very useful and so is the vending machine selling snacks and drinks on each floor.
The food, this was a highlight of the hotel. We were half board. Breakfast was nice but it was the same each day. Hot food at breakfast was not hot, the rest of it was very nice. Both coffee machines were working every day we were there, there were queues not it didn’t take long to get the coffee. The addition of cava, even for half board guests at breakfast was very nice. Evening food was of an excellent standard.
We had parma ham and asparagus, and smoked salmon for starter some evenings (amongst many other choices), turkey, beef, wonderful pulled pork, fish, lamb and numerous other dishes as main courses and the desserts were the best I’ve ever tasted.
The young girl making the desserts at the show cooking station was incredibly talented and friendly. I complimented her regularly on her amazing desserts. She made intricate chocolate baskets, creme brulees that were perfect, cones filled with chocolate, light sponges with fruit toppings and so much more.
This is our first time at an adult’s only hotel, and it has encouraged us to try more as this was a very relaxing and luxurious holiday, We would recommend this hotel and felt it was good value and felt that the negative reviews have been a little harsh, there are some teething problems but I feel this is on the way to becoming an excellent adult’s only hotel and I think that if they can put right the few opening issues they have encountered, then I would have given them the full 5 stars in my review.

It was our first time staying in an adult only hotel as we travelled without kids and I highly recommend this to any adults travelling to Salou you won’t regret it. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else now when i am travelling without children to Salou.
The room was lovely with a really big comfortable bed. The bathroom area was the highlight, the toilet is separate to the wash hand basin area, it also has a very large separate wet room. The breakfast was continental and the staff were really nice and friendly. The pool and spa area’s were lovely and very clean. Towels replaced and room tidied daily. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
Rooms were fab with comfortable beds and a large bathroom with walk in shower and bath. Breakfast was served in the outside area, huge variety of breads, fruits, yogurts, breads, smoothies and wide variety of hot food to include omelettes, pancakes and full cooked breakfast.
Magnolia hotel is nice, rooms are spacious and airy, nice balcony although a small table would make it even more ideal. The bedroom has a huge, comfortable bed, good wardrobe space and a bathroom which was the best one I’ve ever had in a hotel.
Finally the spa/gym….great place to relax or workout, unfortunately it was only open for 2 hours a day, hence you had a mad rush from guests to use the facilities which sort of killed the supposed zen like spa area completely!
The bathroom is massive with walk in jet shower bedroom very nice with very large double bed fridge in room as well as flat screen tv. Pool area very smart lovely area to sit in the sun would defo go back to this hotel p/s breakfast continental style but very nice.

Additionally, the hotel has a decent size fridge for all your refreshment storage needs. Breakfast is served from 8 to 10. There is a good choice of fruit, cereals, fried fruit and delicious pastries. Most importantly, the staff is helpful and very efficient
Hotel is slightly dated but very clean, our room was made daily. I found staff very pleasant & helpful.
The pool is tiny but why would anyone need it when the coastline is magnificent!!
Breakfast was ok, plenty of choice but nothing too special.
The hotel is a 15 minute stroll from the main tourist area and a beautiful walk along the prom with colourful fountains & palm trees .
Some fantastic shopping here for ladies, there’s a train ride that can take you up and down . The beach was stunning & safe with a sea that has golden sparkles in it , quite special.
The hotel is not a bad place and is perfectly located adjacent to the beach on the ‘main strip’. It may be busy and the beaches are very average, however there is much to walk and see.
One highlight was certainly sitting on the beach watching the sunset water-fountain-lights-later show that they do for free every evening. Also the AMAZING THEME-PARK was also great fun. As for the hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the hotel is very nice, the room was lovely, had a kettle & fridge, bathroom was lovely with brilliant shower, the Spa was lush, as a hotel guest you get to use the spa as much as you want which is great.
The hotel is near a very nice beach and a there are a few restaurants and shops nearby, perfect location.
Beginning with the strengths – the choice of food (we were half board) was fantastic with buffet and food cooked on demand.
There are some wonderful members of staff (it the restaurant, on the bar and in the spa)
There was such a great choice of pools too.
Some of the rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable.
