Swissotel Sarajevo is one of the best hotel in Bosnia and the newest , It has perfect location in Sarajevo downtown away from the old town max 10 min by car, surround by the biggest Malls in Sarajevo which are SCC and Alta Mall, friendly staff, delicious food and absolute comfort and clean.

The hotel is a 5 stars hotel in the Sarajevo city center. It is very close to shopping center, actually there is one adjacent to the hotel. The rooms are great in size and comfortable with full amenities. Breakfast was wonderful, in addition to that all staffs were kindness and they provided a very good service to us. What we like best is the swimming pool area and spa. all our stay was amazing, and we were satisfied from the hotel service and hotel’s staff.

The breakfast was very delicious, plenty to choose from and all the staff was always very helpful and extremely kind and thoughtful.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Right in the middle of everything. You can easily walk to the city center (Bascarsija, Ferhadija), there are shopping malls around the hotel and plenty of nice restaurants.

Located in the heart of the city, modern designed with the real comfort.Especially breakfast and the dinner service and the taste of the food was amazing. The SPA is almost look like a jewelry box, really shiny. All the hotel staff was professional with an attitude of a real luxury service.

Rooms
– The views are awesome, and the location of the hotel will mean most rooms will get a decent view of some sort. (Sarajevo does not have a lot of high density buildings for a capital city)
– Our room was clean and ready before check-in
– Bathrooms are spacious and modern
– Room itself was comfortable, good beds and ample amenities like lamps, USB and power slots etc..
– TV was a bit flaky with many channels not working or sporadically not working
– With dedicated lounge seating next to the window it’s a perfect place to read a book, or enjoy the view below.

Service
– Concierge service was helpful
– Limited to no assistance at the door. A hotel at this price point would usually have door staff to help with luggage. I found in both arriving and departing there was no assistance with luggage that similar hotels worldwide would provide, having to get my own luggage in and out of a car
– Overall not a lot of greetings or smiles by staff, like I received from the folks at the Marriott down the road. There did seem to be a lot of guests staying.

Overall was a pleasant stay, in rooms where the view is a winner.

The interior of the hotel is very eccentric, the hotel staff are very friendly and professional, especially the reception department. I am especially pleased with the rooms and the cleanliness of them, great recommendations!

Nice hotel with polite and helpful staff. Room is nice, clean and spacious but somehow unfinished, like something was missing. On the top floor there is a bar with “nice” view, if you don’t care to look industrial zone. There is also a spa in basement, pretty basic but ok, with pool, saunas and turkish bath. Breakfast is good and diverse.

f I disregard the surrounding, the location is very good and close to the city center. It took us 15 minutes with the taxi that costs us 5 euros.
Hotel has recently been renovated and rooms are very nice. We got a family room that was quite comfortable.
There is a Spa in the hotel that is really basic, but ok. Some small things like hanging hooks for towels and bath coats would make the difference – room for improvement.
Breakfast was delicious. Basic, but with some traditional local food that was very tasty.

Hotel interior is very nice and very different in comparison to traditional – they used the Sarajevo olympics in 1984 as the main theme for refurbishment. The same design is also present in very nice bar on the 15th floor, where everybody can relax and enjoy the view, especially at night.

In the “old part” of the hotel you have a large room with a double bed and a sofa, here you have also a large balcony.

In the “new part” of the hotel you have also big room, but smaller than old part. There is no balcony, only panoramic window.

In bathroom you have a shower which is not the best, because when you shower you can make a flood over the whole bathroom because there is no good drainage of water.

In both rooms beds are big, but mattresses are hard and there missing a safe and a minibar.
The cleanliness is solid and maintenance as well.

The public rooms, reception area, restaurant & bedrooms are lovely. Great decor, a bit quirky & with good amenities. The reception staff were very welcoming & helpful.

aught the tram into Sarajevo which took about 20 mins. There was no mini bar in the room as advertised & the rooftop bar did not serve alcohol. Would have been a lovely place to sit but many people were smoking indoors so it was not pleasant, such a shame. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection to choose from. A great place to stay provided you don’t mind being out of the city centre & you don’t drink alcohol.

The hotel is clean, modern and nicely decorated. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. I had a very comfortable stay.

There is a pool in the complex. It is very small but definitely nice and clean.

If you have a rental car, it is easy to park and there is plenty of parking. The public transport doesn’t seem too difficult either, a short walk to the tram station is sufficient to reach to the center.

There is a lovely cafe at the 15th floor. We enjoyed having coffee with the great view.

Rooms for improvement: I really like the Bosnian rug decorations. However, it causes a bit of a funny smell at the corridors. I wonder if there is a way to mask that smell.

Overall, I totally recommend the hotel for your trips. You will have a comfortable stay.

Relax in the indoor pool of our fitness room or taste authentic traditional and international cuisine in our restaurant Brasserie.

The beds were comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast buffet was good and the fitness room, pool areas were adequate for what we wanted.

The hotel is a short walk from a tram stop which took us down to the old town. Around the corner is a great little italian restaurant.

Perfect hotel to enjoy the city. Just 20 minutes by tram to the old town. The room was comfortable and with a nice view over the city. Our bathtub was very nice. You have different choices for breakfast, which is a good point for the hotel.

Recommendations to everyone for this hotel, everything was great and the location is excellent nearby is the walk-in zone. The hotel is in a good position because it is located between the old town and Ilidza and near the commercial and business centers of Sarajevo. The hotel is also good for business and tourist visits to Sarajevo.

Located at the quiet end of the city, this hotel is a brand new hotel.

The location is away from the busy old town but can easily access the old town. We took walks along the river, which lead to the old town. We also took the tram to the old town on our first day, the fare is around 2 Kuna one way.

The rooms are spacious, the mattresses and pillows are comfortable. Believe me, you do need a good night’s rest on comfortable beds after all that walking in the old city.

The breakfast is excellent. The spread is good and you can also taste the Bosnian breakfast. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent.

Service was fast and efficient. I would stay here each time I visit Sarajevo.

This is a modern hotel about 2.5 km from the Town Hall.It is on a quiet street on the banks of Miljacka river. I liked the fact that it was on a street that is closed to car traffic after 17:00.In the evening the street slowly becomes a family and young people promenade Reasonably priced, the hotel has all the amenities you need.

The location is not very central for Sarajevo sightseeing, but also not very far by car. The rooms are clean, though not very spacious, not much space to move around the bed. If you are looking for a good night sleep, comfy bed well serves the purpose.

The buffet style breakfast is really excellent with a great variety of food including local specialties (pita, burek) and specialties from Arabian cuisine (hummus, tabbouleh) whilst hotel bar offers turkish coffee served in traditional manner. If you wish to relax with a glass of wine or other alcoholic drink be prepared that serving alcohol is against hotel policy.
