With an urban population of 46 000 people, Šibenik is quaint, but also has everything you might need. Like Split or Dubrovnik, the old town of Šibenik is brimming with medieval architecture. A few gay friendly hotels Sibenik are available to be booked online. But, unlike some of the other better known Croatian cities, Šibenik is relatively free from tourists.
Šibenik is a city on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. It’s known as a gateway to the Kornati Islands. The 15th-century stone Cathedral of St. James is decorated with 71 sculpted faces. Nearby, the Šibenik City Museum, in the 14th-century Prince’s Palace, has exhibits ranging from prehistory to the present. The white stone St. Michael’s Fortress has an open-air theater, with views of Šibenik Bay and neighboring islands.

Tastefully furnished renovated apartment in a beautiful old Stone house in the Center. Very clean.
Very nice flat and quiet. And you are in the middle of a fantastic old city. Many good restaurants nearby.
Location is fantastic, right in centre of old town. Surprisingly quiet though. Room was beautiful old stone wall with modern furnishings. Bedding and towels clean and fresh. Roberta stayed late for our arrival with no problem and was helpful throughout our stay.
The room was a great size and the bed was so comfortable! The staff were friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and ideas of how to spend our time. We stayed for one night after visiting Krka National Park but could have stayed for so many more!
The location is great, and Roberta was lovely! Really welcoming and incredibly accommodating. Located right in the middle of the old town, the apartment is ideally located. The apartment was clean, and had a very small terrace. There are also many great restaurants right near Mediterraneo rooms- so big plus for location!

We stayed for ten days and had a lovely room with modern, contemporary furniture and shower room on the top floor overlooking the marina. The large balcony had sun all day from ten o’clock and it was great to watch the boats sailing in and out. It was a privilege to stay there. The staff are great, a credit to whoever selects and trains them. My partner and I loved the stunning design of the hotel and foyer. It has two infinity pools and it’s set on a headland with great views on both sides, and the restaurant at the top of the hotel, where you take breakfast, makes the most of them. The breakfasts are great with lots of choice, and a variety of eggs.
There is a good spa and gym too. It’s a shame there was no tennis court and the one table tennis table and its equipment was only fit for young children, sadly.
The old town of Sibenik has not yet lost its heart to tourism so it was always a pleasure to walk its old narrow streets, enjoy the shops and eat in the restaurants.
It was a little far to walk into town but a taxi is about 50 kuna or so. Well worth the money. There are cheap buses to places like Zadar and Split from there and the national park at Krka is certainly worth a visit. In retrospect a car rental would have been useful.
Attached to a Superyacht marina with quite gobsmacking boats from around the world. Nothing cheap or tacky about this venue, staff lovely, breakfast outstanding, exceptional hot and cold buffet with something for every taste. 2 pools, one a short walk up a slope with beautiful changing facilities, towels and bar/ restaurant attached.
The other at the front of the hotel with access to the sea also. Taxis into town 50 kuna (about £4.50) Sibenik town pretty and has a varied selection of bars and restaurants along the front. Delve further into town for some shops and more bars and cafe’s. Marina view rooms lovely, town view rooms also lovely with view of slightly rustic marina/ lit up town at night. Rooftop restaurant and bar very nice and also used for breakfast service, so possible to sit inside or out.
The design of the hotel and foyer was stunning. Our room overlooked the marina and was huge with everything you needed, modern contemporary furniture and a state of the art designer bathroom and lovely large balcony.
The two pools were clean and warm – the first right at the end of the peninsula with a great bar/grill open during the day but the spa pool was even better – an infinity pool with lots of seating areas, bar and cafe and indoor jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The breakfasts were wonderful – absolutely everything you could want and hot food cooked to order. The rooftop restaurant and bar were fantastic – great fresh food and not too expensive for a hotel.
D-Resort is a super slick place to stay, complete with golf buggies and great views of Sibenik. Lots of amazing design features, 2 lovely pools and rooms that are large, airy and spacious. Lovely big balconies too. Lots of channels on the TV (BBC included). I would opt for a marina view as some of the views on the other side are of closed down factories, not the old town. The hotel has a bit of a feel of a conference hotel. The staff are uber efficient and the place is super clean. It is very quiet. Easy to get to Sibenik via boat – ferry or water taxi. Good airy gym – lots of new equipment. Spa is really amazing too.
ts location means that it is very quiet and peaceful, and there are beautiful views of the marina and towards the town of Šibenik. (Ones that you might have seen in Game of Thrones.)
There are golf buggies available to take you around the resort to the pools, bars, shopping and spa areas. The spa area is very beautiful, with 2 saunas, a steam room, a fitness area and many beauty treatments available.
Breakfast time was a very leisurely 07:00 until 11:00 every day.
The breakfast buffet in the Art Restaurant (included in the room rate) was fresh and plentiful, with cold meats and cheeses, fresh fruits, pastries and eggs cooked to order. There is even fresh honeycomb.
The Art Restaurant has an outside seating area, and the views are beautiful, so there are plenty of photo opportunities.
We were in a Superior Double Room with Marina view, and the room was large, light and pleasant, with a plasma TV, a balcony with a table, chairs and a lamp. There was a large bathroom with 2 hand basins and a rain shower. The bed was king-sized, with two separate quilts, an idea that I think I might adopt at home!

It is such a beautiful location right in the waterfront and very well located both for the beach and for restaurants. The owners have added some lovely personal touches to give it a cosy feel and we could have stayed for longer. As hosts they were very helpful and quick to respond.
Good Location, perfect accommodation, lovely city. Good parking spot 5 minutes walk from the property, close to the Banj beach. Restaurant next door serving good quality fresh food. Good sea view! Good place to stay for city break.
The rooms are just beautiful and you really feel like you are living in a traditional home and yet they have modern facilities.
The room was very clean and they were very friendly to deal with. They did have AC, towels and toiletries but no washing machine.
The rooms are just a short walk to the main town and there is a beach in the opposite direction.
Just a wonderful place to stay.

Check in was swift, pleasant and efficient. No issues there. We booked a junior suite and the room is immaculate in every way. Very clean, modern with sleek furnishings, large bathrooms and a functional smaller bathroom in the living area. Great, comfortable king size bed with super pillows and wonderful sheets.
Room was quite quiet with little to no street noise. Good AC.
Breakfast every morning had all the standard selections and then some extras. Service was friendly and they make a great coffee!! The breakfast room has great windows affording a super view of the water.
Great location on the quay. Just 25 metres and you can be on the promenade which runs almost the length of the resort. Bars and restaurants are on the promenade and dotted throughout the town. The old town is picturesque with fine old buildings including a number of churches and an imposing cathedral. There is a castle high up but it is quite an effort to pay a visit.
We had a deluxe double with sea and city views. Lots of storage space and a magnificent bathroom with walk-in shower and the biggest bath I have seen.
This hotel stands out for its striking exterior design even though the door is hard to find.
The parking is free but requires the front desk to let you in and out. A better system would be good. The rooms are great; the interior design is stylish and restrained. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast coffee was excellent.
Hotel has a perfect location in the city center, right between the ferry/bus station and city old town. You can park your car for free across the street (hotel has a deal with guarded public parking) and just leave it there – everything will be at a walking distance if you want to explore the city.
Hotel exterior and interior are both stunning with overall luxurious look and feel. Staff at the front desk and restaurant are extremely friendly and kind to all guests. I came with my dog, who was welcomed at a very reasonable price (app 110 kunas extra).
Theres a strong wifi connection all over the hotel, there’s also a tiny pool, gym and saunas available, as well as a cafe.
Rooms are a good size, comfortable beds, very soft floors, stunning seaview! What I loved the most was the bathroom, I just enjoyed large walk in shower with the most perfect shower head, minimalistic design, huge mirror and gold brown tiles. Toiletries… well, their smell just knocked me off my feet, they’re REPLICA by Maison Margiela. ? I usually never use most of the things provided by the hotel, but the smell of Margiela’s Replica Jazz Club was sooo good that I couldn’t stop using everything , all the time ?
What I also loves was the hotel breakfast. It’s not a big buffet, but everything served is excellent quality and extremely delicious. Croissants, smoked salmon, prosciutto and tomato mozzarella salad were my favorites. A quality fruits served as well, I would just probably add few more sweet choices.

This hotel was very stylish and beautifully designed. A great combination of old world charm and stylish modern design. The lights, TV, and A/C were controlled by a tablet. The bathroom had a glass ceiling. Very interesting.
This heritage hotel is located within the Old Town of Sibenik and has been recently renovated. It has less than 10 rooms and they are all very well appointed with comfortable beds and excellent washrooms…my partner rated the washroom in our room as the best of our trip! There was a great view of the harbour from our room.
The brand new Heritage Hotel King Kresimir (opened in 2018) offers a very warm welcome and a wonderful atmosphere. Located in a historic palace, everything has been refurbished with the highest quality and a big sense of detail. There are only 8 rooms in this boutique-hotel and this made us feel very exclusive in such a charming place.
The room was great and very comfortable : very high quality level as well for all the equipments and furnitures. You can take your breakfast in the library or on the terrace: it consists of a buffet and you can also choose anything you want from the menu. Fantastic! The staff was very nice and helpful and we appreciated to talk with the manager Fabiano about the hotel’s history or the successful renovations of the palace. We enjoyed every moment. Thank you.
