Excellent value, lovely rooms and relaxed ambiance. Wide choice at breakfast and easy 5 minute walk to the old town. A good base for exploring nearby fortified churches. Usually reluctant to stay in chain hotels but would definitely recommend and would stay there again. A good choice all round.

The hotel’s excellent location is within walking distance of the city’s old town and its center. Breakfast included a wide selection and the dishes were delicious We regretted that we actually had only one night in this hotel, but there is no doubt that if we will return to this city in the future, we’ll be happy to stay here again.

A small thing that the hotel management should pay attention to is, that at least in our rooms in the bathroom area next to the shower is missing a shelf to put on shampoo, shower gel, soap etc., so we had to put them ,on the bathroom floor what is inconvenient.

This hotel is a gem. It is nicely decorated and our room was just big and beautiful! The hotel is in a quiet location, at walking distance from the old town, the train station and bus station. Kindly staff. Very very good breakfast buffet with all you like.

he first word that comes to my mind when I think about this hotel is majestic. It looks like a countryside castle. The interior is so glorious, with lots of wood and little rustic details, that it instantly gives a warm and cozy impression. I don’t remember the last time a hotel impressed me this much!

The suite was spotless and extremely comfortable, with a huge king size bed and comfortable pillows – I slept like a baby. The hotel is in a quiet area of Sighisoara (but at the same time very close to the old town), so that helped too, there was no noise from the outside.

The staff were very nice and friendly, but seemed quite overworked in the breakfast area. Breakfast was good, with lots of options, including some local ones. There is also a lovely patio where you can have a drink and enjoy the nice weather, or you can sit inside, which is even more beautiful. I really cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Are we in Romania? We could be in a German ski chalet with walls lined in wood panelling. The German theme continues into our room which is large and comfortable. Recently renovated with quality inclusions.

The only comment I would make is that curtains would have been a welcome inclusion. Advice: when travelling in Romania take a sleep mask as every hotel we stayed in either did not have curtains, or the curtains were so thin that they were useless to keep the early morning light out. The BinderBubi is in a quiet location close to the beautiful old town of Sighisoara. Good service and adequate breakfast.

The hotel is located near the city centre and if you’re lucky enough you can enjoy the view of the old town from your room. The staff is friendly and greeted us with cookies and tips about the city. The rooms are very clean, providing you with everything you need.

We didn’t have lunch or dinner at their restaurant but the breakfast was good. I would definitely come back here next time.

The hotel is in the lower old town and only a short uphill walk to the historic upper old town. We had an executive double room which has a king size bed and a small sitting area. The room was clean, was at the front of the hotel and had double doors that opened onto a view of the river. Breakfast was included and was plentiful.

There was plenty of off-street parking too for those who are on a road trip. There’s also a sauna and a pool, open for most of the day, which we took advantage of as the weather was quite warm. Overall a very good experience.

Very well located with easy access from the main road into town and just below the old town that can easily be reached on foot in approximately 10 minutes. The pool is indoor and the other spa facilities such as the steam room and sauna were good. Receptionists were prompt and efficient and provided a cookie on arrival.

Hotel is located for 5 minutes from old city. There are openair restaurant, warm & comfortable spa zone with big swimming pool, underground parking in hotel.

Our room was with the view to old city and castles. We had big balcony and it was really nice to spend the evening.

But, the big priority of the hotel is existence of swimming pool. So, if you have nothing to do (and it can be in that town), you just can spend your time swimming in spa. 🙂

Hotel is very warm and it’s obviously the best hotel in Sighisoara.

The rooms are typical of the Doubletree brand although a little on the small side compared to some.

It is well located in the centre of town and only a five minute walk to the historic citadel. Many rooms have a view of this. The rooms are well appointed with tea and coffee. Good bathroom accessories and plenty of towels. There are bathrobes included

Check in was fast and efficient with friendly staff who could speak English.

The breakfast is a buffet and well presented with good choice from fresh fruit. Sales. Scrambled egg and bacon sausage. Ham cheeses. Cereals and fresh bread. All well cooked and presented

The dinner service was very slow and a long time between courses. One night had the diavolo pizza. This was excellent and very well made and spicy. Can recommend this

There is an outside terrace with bar and food. Leisure centre excellent with good pool and gym etc. Staff here also very good

For a doubletree it is quite good. Location excellent with car parking on site. In the main all staff were good and friendly. Speed of service in restaurant needs to be quicker. Would use it again.

At the same time, every unit includes private bathrooms with walk-in showers or bathtubs, including free toiletries. In each room, you will also find a flat-screen cable TV and free WiFi.

During the warm summer days, guests can relax in the cobbled and furnished courtyard, bordered by lush vegetation. You can take an energy boost at the on-site coffee house, play a game of billiards, or even prepare a barbecue.

Complimentary continental breakfast is served on a garden terrace that has BBQ grills and views of the historic center. A rustic cellar features a bar, a pool table and a piano; it exhibits paintings, and holds cultural events and wine tastings.

Savri House is a historic building of Class A ( meaning” of national interest”), which makes it part of World Heritage Site (UNESCO). It is a veritable museum dedicated to the craftsmen, with old authentic handmade pieces gathered from all over Transylvania. The furniture is solid wood, refurbished to the highest standards, the whole process of restoration being carried out over a period of 7 years. The guest house is situated at the foot of the medieval citadel of Sighisoara, a two-minute walk from the commercial and historical centre.

Each room has a unique style, both in terms of furniture and decor items. Each room has a private bathroom with best amenities offered (fine white towels, quality toiletries, slippers and hairdryer) including high-quality body care items. As a guest of our guest house, you will have access to the terrace overlooking the Sighisoara Medieval Citadel with picnic tables and barbecue equipment.

You can also admire here the craftsmen’s working tools – objects that represent some authentic elements of our pension. We welcome you every morning with breakfast – traditional dishes, with aromatic coffee and juices, homemade bread, cheeses, meats and especially fresh local seasonal fruits.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the building so solidly built that we heard no noise from other guests during our stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful for us all and did whatever they could to help make sure we enjoyed our stay, including local tips for places to visit, food and drink recommendations and arranging for a private walking tour of the citadel.

The breakfast was good with a varied selection of meats, cheeses, cooked items and continental offerings.

The location is ideal for visiting Sighisoara, with steps out of the back of the hotel directly into the citadel.

The rooms were great, had comfortable beds along with some authentic creaky floorboards but with it being a very old building not surprising.
Bathrooms were well done with natural stone tiles.
The rooms were solid so there was no noise from the other rooms.

The staff were superb. Always trying to make sure we had everything we needed and nothing was an issue. They arranged a walking tour and provided recommendations of what to do and see plus which restaurants to go to.

Breakfast was also very good. Lots to choose from, eggs, cold meats, fruit, cereal, vegetables, pickles, bread, cakes etc. plenty of tea, coffee and juices too.

Finally the location is great up a lot of steps at the back of the hotel would get you to old town. Or you could walk round. Still would not take long to stroll there.

I would recommend staying here.

The B&B is located in a renovated 450 years old house. There are only 7 rooms to offer. Our room, Sofia, even though not large, was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The shower was great.

The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and plenty.

The location cannot be closer just outside the ancient walls of Sighisoara.
