Suppose you are looking to have a fun time at a Gay resort, while cleanliness and being respected are very important to you. In that case, Vista Grande Resort is the choice!

My friend and I stayed at this resort for 3 nights, and it was one of my best choices I have ever made. From the beginning, Calvin greeted us at the property, and he checked us in at 11 AM. , which was fantastic. I’ve worked in hospitality, and it is not easy to have a room ready at that time.
Calvin was super friendly and answered all of our questions.
He showed us the entire property, and we literally had no questions by the time we walked into the room. The room was completely renovated and nicely designed. I’m telling you, it was way nicer than the photos you see here! It was spotless and clean and smelled good (The room smell is so important to me when I walk in the room). Comfortable king beds were my favorite. Although we were right next to the pool and had a great view, it was tranquil and peaceful. We had a kitchen with all you need to cook and plates and utensils. A brand new big fridge, stovetop oven, microwave, coffee maker, and even a toaster!
The Vista Grande Resort was such a great experience. I would 10/10 Recommend if you need a weekend away at this all gay men’s resort. The rooms were spacious and super clean and the staff was beyond amazing. The breakfast in the morning was great to enjoy by the pool and you also have the option for lunch by the pool as well.
Vista Grande is my favorite gay resort in Palm Springs. The property is beautiful, and the staff are very accommodating. 3 meals per day are also included! When visiting this oasis in the desert, start by staying at Vista Grande.
Probably the best place to stay in Palm Springs for gay travelers. Smiling and very helpful staff.
Very friendly customers. We appreciate especially to have the full board during the week end. Very practical and to avoid to take the car to have meals in the city.

My boyfriend and I are now regulars at what is our favorite gay resort in Palm Springs.

In addition to general manager Tom being the best host with exceptional personal service and the most attentive staff – Vista Grande is comprised of what was originally three different properties with a wonderful variety of atmosphere.

Great rates that also include meals, endless mimosas on the weekends and let’s not forget the mid afternoon parade of popsicles and ice cream sandwiches delivered by Tom personally.

Amazing that the Vista Grande has been in successful operation for over 30 years, which makes us love it even more for the classic gay vibe and warm feeling, yet the resort never feels dated and they make an effort to update the rooms regularly.

Bearfoot Inn is a clothing optional hotel resort for gay men, bears and their admirers. Located in the historic Movie Colony, flourishing Uptown Design District of Palm Springs, Bearfoot Inn is your oasis in the desert and home away from home. Casual and elegant, yet masculine, this mid-century modern resort for men has been faithfully restored and upgraded so you can relax and be yourself.

I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Bearfoot Inn. I found the Inn to be clean and well run. I had a large upstairs room with a kitchen. There was plenty of space in the room around the bed and the kitchen is a separate room. I liked the pool area and found it to look like the photos on the website. There were plenty of lounges and tables and chairs even though the place was booked for the weekend. The Inn is a short walk to the Buzz Trolley which is free and covers all of downtown P.S. and has a stop near the gay bars, it runs until 1:00 A.M.

Gay men & clothing optional were the attraction for me. Great mid-century architecture. Only 11 rooms of varying size and accommodation. Rooms centered around courtyard with great pool and hot tub with plenty of lounge chairs & tables with umbrellas. Intimate setting so you can get to socialize all the other guests, Serve yourself continental breakfast with coffee, juice, cereal, fruit, and breakfast breads; not fancy but a good way to begin your day. Restaurants, bars, and downtown are within walking distance, but it can be a long walk so check out The Buzz trolley. Its a free bus with a stop about a block away.

It runs from 11 am to 1am, Thursday thru Sunday—every 15 minutes. The owners live on the property so they’re available, but never intrusive. If you want a 5-star resort with plenty of amenities & activities, look elsewhere! But if you want a very comfortable, relaxing, laid-back inn, check out the Bearfoot. I’ll definitely be back…..soon.

The rooms are nicely appointed and just the right combination of comfort and class. Some gay resorts can be intimidating, marketed to the washboard ab set, and we did see some guests like that, but truly it was a mix of ages and body types that make it unintimidating (is that a word?) for all. The Bearfoot Inn is a wonderful discovery.

I wanted a good clothing optional gay resort in Palm Springs and Triangle Inn fit the bill. It was a very clean, friendly place, with staff who were very helpful. I liked the fact that it was small and intimate and I loved the tropical landscaping.
Triangle Inn is everything we could have asked for in a gay resort. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Big screen tv, comfortable bed, coffee maker, among other things.
Corner store and liquor store very close. We walked to downtown every night. The grounds are well maintained and the pool and hot tub are in great shape.
Great breakfast every morning from 8 to 11 that includes bagels, muffins, coffee, tea, fruit, cereal, pastries and more.
Swimming in the pool naked under the stars was just exceptional. This place can’t be beat.
We have been to some other clothing optional resorts in palm springs and this is by far the best. Will be back for sure. Nothing short of paradise. We could not have had a better time.
This place is very nice. It’s small and doesn’t have many rooms, but it’s clothing-optional which is wonderful. The pool and hot tub are so relaxing. Our room (#8) was nice, and the housekeeping staff did a good job keeping the room clean during our stay.

The owners provided a continental breakfast which was decent, and they had pop and beer available in the fridge for $1 apiece if we wanted something to drink while we were lounging by the pool or whatnot.

I would highly recommend this place for any gay couple who wants a relaxing place to stay where you don’t have to wear clothes if you don’t want to. :).

My boyfriend Stephen and I were looking for a gay men’s couple-friendly resort that wasn’t too “voyeuristic” or “seedy”. We were pleasantly at peace with the Triangle Inn. It was very calming and upon entering the gate we felt completely at ease and relaxed. Spacious and well appointed rooms and the very helpful & friendly service man john was a delight. Both Steve and Mike made sure that we had everything that we needed and ensured that our bikes were safely stored. We will definitely be returning.

Santiago’s 23 rooms feature flat-screen TVs, luxury bath products, king or queen beds, and tastefully styled furnishings. It all adds up to the perfect luxurious getaway for individuals or groups.
As gay travelers, you never know quite what the vibe will be at a resort targeting gay men, but the Santiago does an incredible job of creating a space that is welcoming and friendly, while maintaining a high-end/luxury environment. The grounds are quite nice and the newly designed rooms are clean and chic.
We came to the Santiago for the first time for a much needed 4 day getaway. We have stayed at several gay resorts in PS, and this is definitely our new favorite. In this challenging time, we were very pleased with the cleanliness and health precautions here! The staff was not intrusive, but takes these things seriously.
The pool was so big, warm, and inviting. Lounge chairs are quite comfortable, and poolside music was wonderful. We had an upstairs king room which was huge and nicely furnished. Overall, the atmosphere is fairly quiet and low key, but friendly. While Santiago is certainly not inexpensive, we believe it is worth it, especially since breakfast and lunch are included.
This is our favorite Gay Resort in California. The staff makes this Gay Resort so accommodating and that is why they are always booked. They have a free cantina for drinks and snakes. Guest are Great! We always make new friends here and book the same dates so we can hang in the pool together again.
Santiago is such a beautiful resort. It is a gay resort that draws friendly guys. The customer service is really extraordinary. The general manager is the most helpful and client friendly person I have ever met, catering to the needs of the gay clientele while ensuring safe protocol (and all with a friendly smile). This resort is my favorite of all time.
Having been to a number of all-gay resorts in Palm Springs, I can say without reservation that Santiago is the very best. They pay attention to the small details both in the upkeep of the property and the hospitality of guests.

The resort is close to everything downtown, a 10 minute ride at most and a 5 minute walk to a great little village center with a great bagel place, couple of gay friendly shops and antique centers.

As having been in hospitality for many years, it takes a lot to impress us from a service standpoint. Kent and his team did more than impress us. The attention to details really stand out here. The cantina is open around the clock and during the day snacks, soda, water, lemonade and iced tea are constantly refilled and available for everyone.

We were equally impressed watching the staff interact with the guests, and every evening the staff checked in with the poolside guests to see if there was anything we needed before wrapping up their day. Simply checking in with the guests made us feel appreciated to be there and in good hands at all times. We always felt part of a community while staying here. We will definitely be back!
This was my first experience at a resort for gay men, and the bar has been set high. Santiago deserves the highest rating in terms of service, professionalism, comfort, amenities, and genuine friendliness. It seems that I hit the jackpot on my first try, and I look forward to visiting this Palm Springs slice of paradise again.
I have stayed here several times. For those who like an adult-styled resort, but want a classy experience and not something wanton or creepy, then this is your place. If you like a quieter room, ask for the west side/wing of the rooms. They are further from the pool area and shielded. The east side of rooms are close to the pool and hot tub where there maybe more noise late at night.

5. La Dolce Vita Resort 3* – Gay Resorts Palm Springs California

gay hotels in palm springs clothing optional
gay hotels in palm springs clothing optional
Welcome to La Dolce Vita – Palm Springs’ most inviting, swimsuit-optional resort catering to gay men! Our Hotel is ideally located in an upscale, residential neighborhood, located 5 minutes from Downtown Palm Springs’ most popular attractions, restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Our facilities include the only professional Men’s Spa in Palm Springs and 18 guest rooms ranging from studios to spacious one-bedroom apartments perfect for longer stays.
Additional amenities, include: two heated outdoor pools, a hot tub, steam room, and an outdoor barbecue, as well as complimentary daily continental breakfast, parking, WiFi, and weekend social hours from 5pm to 6pm. Our beautiful hotel provides guests with a peaceful and comfortable environment ideal for relaxing, socializing, and making new life-long friends.

A 6-minute walk from Moorten Botanical Garden, this clothing-optional hotel for gay men is 2 miles from upscale and vintage shopping in downtown Palm Springs.

Simple rooms with hardwood floors offer free Wi-Fi, mini fridges and microwaves; most have flat-screen TVs. Suites add separate living spaces and/or kitchens.

There are 2 outdoor pools and hot tubs, plus a full-service spa and a steam room. Complimentary perks include continental breakfast and parking.

It is very important to note this property, liker many “boutique” resorts in Palm Springs (gay or straight), is unique and not part of some major hotel chain. For this reason it is very unfair to compare these properties to your typical generic hotel/motel.

Stayed in the Roma “suite” for 2 nights. The room was clean, up to date and well-appointed. It was an end unit with windows on all sides overlooking the smaller pool and had its own private back patio. It was quiet, cozy, bright and relaxing. I would recommend this room.

The grounds/property were very well-kept, clean and pleasant to relax in. The overall appearance and feeling is that you are in a higher-end “boutique resort”. That said, while the property appears to have been renovated (including our room), the structures themselves are showing their age – some pergolas, trim, windows, etc. simply need updating.

The rooms here are very well set out and the new bathrooms are very functional and stylish. The two pools are a bonus, although it can be difficult to find a shaded lounge chair at times. The Saturday BBQ was a highlight and very generous with all food and drinks supplied, as was the daily supply of ice treats around the pool and daily happy hour drinks. La Dolce Vita may not be up to the standard of some of the other Palm Springs gay resorts but it certainly does offer great value for money.
La Dolce Vita has over the past few years been my go-to escape for the nice pools, the friendly staff, and the quiet off-the-beaten-gay-path location (though it’s nearby the entertainment and restaurants etc.) The new owners did a great job with the renovations. The place is more airy and sleeker, and the rooms are comfortable, with modern appointments. Bathrooms are stylish (and you know the gays love a nice bathroom!
The resort was absolutely perfect, staff was friendly and attentive. Pools were refreshing and rooms were comfortable and clean. Resort is close to great hikes, gay area, and restaurants.
Our room was on the east wing. I believe that section are all renovated. There’s two pools on the property. Also, a spa and steam room, a jacuzzi . We really wanted to just lounge and be poolside. The rooms are simple and modern. Clean and classic. Lounge chairs are right outside the room. Also chairs are outside each rooms as well. We had both a front and back door. With seating on both side. Some rooms had patios too.

The property gives off an oasis vibe with all the luscious plants and serene calmness. Breakfast is served in the common area. Normally you’re allowed to help yourself but now, it’s one person allowed in and the staff will prepare what you want. The common garden area has a long communal table as well as scattered table. There’s a fire pit with seating and a water feature to one end of the area. Coffee and tea is served outside. I also just found out that your could actually order lunch and have it prepared for you. Did not know that as we always go out for food.

The two pools on site, both offer lounges. It’s surrounded by the room. So basically walk out of your room and enjoy the water. There’s seating area in the back by the spa if you just wanted to relax as well.

This place is nice to get out of the city and relax. It’s beautiful grounds and calmness just brings the best in you. Little R&R getaway. Staff was amazing and friendly. Will definitely be returning.
