The en suite bathroom features a bath or shower, a hairdryer, free toiletries and slippers. Some rooms have a balcony overlooking the rice fields.

This small hotel has lots of charm and character. Rooms are spacious, well appointed and nicely decorated.

Fridge, safe, good wifi, they even have a laptop in each room.

Very comfortable beds, choice of indoor or outdoor shower and an outdoor bath.

They make an effort to be eco–friendly.

Great breakfast with LOTS of choice. Decent restaurant. Beautiful pool. Free bicycles.

Really  lovely friendly helpful staff. Liked being a bit out of town, beautiful as the town is, it is swamped by tourists. 

The attention to no plastic and the strong eco consciousness of the hotel is rare in Vietnam and very impressive.

The staff were amazing – so friendly and helpful and the food (we ate lunches and dinners too) was always fresh and tasty and prepared with great care.

We liked that the retreat was also eco friendly ( reused newspaper folded into bags for lining the waste bins, Grolsch lager and other larger glass bottles used as refillable purified water bottles for use in the room etc.

A mini bar fridge always stocked with cold water.

The breakfasts ( included with the room price) are simply amazing, with everything to cater to Asian, European and Western tastes.

Full buffet with a chef standing by to whip up your favorite crepe, pancake or egg based dish, or as in our favorite, a delicious bowl of beef pho ( we are from Canada, so pho was something we had not tried for breakfast before coming to Vietnam, but now we are both hooked on it!).

Overall this resort rates more than 5 stars, and is world class in our opinion.

We would definitely recommend the Grand Chic room to anyone looking for a fabulous stay in Hoi An.

The hotel is lovely, it’s very cozy and green, beautifully made and decorated.

The staff is super friendly and caring, I could borrow a bike every day and enjoyed cycling around the rice fields, which are very close to the hotel.

The city center / old town is about 10 minutes away, so not far.

I had mostly lunch or dinner or both at the hotel and I loved the food, very well made Vietnamese cuisine, having also vegetarian/vegan options (I’m vegetarian).

The room is so beautiful, it’s a studio, having even a balcony and a small kitchen with water cooker, cooking plate etc.

The surroundings are very peaceful, as well as the hotel, I enjoyed relaxing at the pool after my bike rides, enjoyed my studio.

I can highly recommend and will definitely come back, the rates are very affordable, it’s a great value for money!
