Halal Hotels Barcelona

At the end of 2019, there were approximately 2.1 million Muslims in Spain, most of them of Spanish and Moroccan nationality, with upwards of eight hundred thousand believers in both cases
By Crescent Rating, Spain is 37th rated among most Muslim-friendly countries.
How many mosques are there in Spain?
According to a former 2010 estimate, there were 13 large mosques and more than 1000 smaller mosques and Islamic prayer rooms scattered across the country serving an estimated Muslim population of 1.5 million.
The Muslim friendly hotel means a hotel that has Islamic characteristics that can provide basic facilities that are more friendly to Muslim customers such as a Qibla direction indicator, the availability of prayer tools, the presence of halal food / list of nearby restaurants that provide halal food.

Like other tourists, Muslim travelers coming from Islamic countries have particular requirements when they choose the destination for their vacation. Among these requirements, Muslims are concerned about the availability of halal compliant foods (no pork or alcohol in food) and a clean place to pray.

Many international hotels in Spain do serve halal food that is slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia and is free of any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol.

Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

Everything was very good. They even had a water spray in the toilet for the muslims and people who are hygiene concern.

Location is city center. Walking distance from la ramblas and catalunya. Many nice restaurants near the hotel. Also supermarkets are near by.

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to all the places you may wish to go. The service was, as you would expect, immecable in every department. The hotel smells great and you notice it as soon as you walk in but it does not overwhelm you; in fact, it welcomes you.
I stayed in a Deluxe Suite facing the Passeig de Gràcia. The room as huge, well decorated and comfortable. The Butler service was helpful and attentive at every turn.
The rooftop is where I spent most of my days and that was heaven. The team up there were extremely attentive, topping up my water and adding ice to make sure I was hydrated in the heat. The pool itself is more of a dipping pool, but exactly what’s needed. Lovely and cooling with great views of the city.
My room looked over the bustling Passeig De Gracia, but you wouldn’t have known this unless you opened the window.
Room was beautiful and amazingly so peaceful. Everything I was expecting and more from this trip I planned in my head.
The shower alone – best I’ve ever used and could have taken a million showers a day ha ha!Every member of the MO team I met or spoke to were so polite and helpful. I was apprehensive travelling as a solo as you can feel intimidated in some 5* hotels as a female.

We had a “city view” which overlooked the communal play area. The room had what felt like a queen size bed, large flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities, a mini bar, a safe, hairdryer, bidet, bath/shower and was well equipped with plenty of toiletries. The room also had air conditioning and a very good WiFi connection. We were offered to include breakfast at check in which would have been €12 per person per night but we chose to stay on a room only basis and went out to eat instead. The beach was about ten minutes away and we found a nice place to eat breakfast on the beachfront.
The hotel was a short walk away from Selva De Mar metro station which is on the L4 line, so was easy to get to the centre and all the tourist attractions. The staff at the hotel were polite and helpful and the hotel was clean and modern.

There’s a cozy Mediterranean restaurant; a breakfast buffet is available for a fee.

It’s a very good hotel lying in a nice street with elegant buildings, career Santaló, where there isn’t much traffic. The place is therefore relatively quiet.

The hotel is very near Travessera de Gràcia, Avenida Diagonal, Barcelona main thoroughfare, and the imposing Plaça Francesc Macià which includes a roundabout in the middle of the stated avenue.
Inside the hotel is cosy and peaceful.

At least, I heard hardly any noise so that apparently the building is soundproof and the bedroom windows are well isolated. The room I was allocated was very comfortable so that I was pleased to remain inside for a long time every day; especially the beds are very comfy for their mattresses have the adequate toughness to assure a good sleep.

Albeit the bedroom window looks onto the road, the light traffic noise which can be heard wasn’t at all disturbing. During the day the room was very well lit up by daylight and gay. The bathroom was also nice and comfortable.

The breakfast is good and abundant. It’s possible for that meal to have several types of health foods and otherwise enough to keep going for several hours. The fresh fruits, for instance, are of a high quality and usually tasty. The pastry is also varied and good. At the same place where breakfast is served, the hotel restaurant, one can likewise have other meals, to wit, lunch and dinner.

The relevant menu for those meals includes good dishes. One can choose, among others, a sirloin steak which is usually rather tender. Such a choice entails however the payment of a moderate supplement.

By and large therefore that hotel is a recommendable place to stay in Barcelona. The lodging there may certainly contribute to assure the enjoyment of one’s stay in the city concerned.
