Halal Hotels Cairo
The Muslim friendly hotel means a hotel that has Islamic characteristics that can provide basic facilities that are more friendly to Muslim customers such as a Qibla direction indicator, the availability of prayer tools, the presence of halal food / list of nearby restaurants that provide halal food.
Like other tourists, Muslim travelers coming from Islamic countries have particular requirements when they choose the destination for their vacation. Among these requirements, Muslims are concerned about the availability of halal compliant foods (no pork or alcohol in food) and a clean place to pray.
Many international hotels in Cairo do serve halal food that is slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia and is free of any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol.
Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

As an FYI, Egypt is the only Muslim country in the Middle East that allows gambling. This may explain why you will find many guests from the Gulf states at the tables which was the case for the week we were there. You will also see ladies of the night who are pretty discreet.
The casino only deals with USD; it will exchange money for you but you can’t play in any other currency. You can withdraw money (USD) on your credit card if you don’t want to withdraw Egyptian pounds from the ATM.
This place is amazing and the view of the nile from the restaurant was stunning. The Moroccan food was very tasty, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Also, the oriental band was amazing.
I stayed at Sofitel in Cairo, I had an amazing experience. One of the best hotels in Egypt, Amazing Nile river view all around. Customer service was amazing, and friendly staff.
The Moroccan Restaurant had really good food, and I would like to thank all the servers and their manager (Mr. Elias) as well, they were really helpful and friendly and had really good recommendations of food and beverages.
They also had a band which I found really cool. They were very talented. Chill vibe. I really recommend this restaurant and hotel in Cairo.
The pool area is lovely – gorgeous Nile views abound. Pool staff work hard. The food service department is interesting – we waited FOREVER for our food at the Moroccan restaurant. (It was good, though.) The breakfast was underwhelming. Our standard was the delightful food at Sofitel Luxor. The buffet aspect of breakfast was uninspired – not particularly appetizing. Some of the pastries were tasty but overall presentation was lacking. The omelets were so-so – one was undercooked, another burnt. Not the standard one comes to expect from the Sofitel brand.
The fitness center was great, and the indoor jacuzzi was AMAZING! The limited booking times to reserve the jacuzzi was frustrating, however.
Finally, the view from our room was truly remarkable – fantastic! We loved our balcony as well.
The room comes equipped with a mini-fridge, comfortable beds, and a relaxing chair. This was a highlight of our stay.

This hotel is near to the huge and beautiful mall in Cairo which is connected to the hotel. I do really recommend this place.
There is no other hotel in Cairo like the Intercontinental Cairo City Stars, the property is amazing, the team are super friendly, the front office staff are amazing and very supportive, the food is very tasty with lots of varieties, the hotel is also connected with the huge City Stars Mall. We really enjoyed every single minute and looking forward for coming back.
The room itself was okay in terms of space, but it is not very luxurious when it comes to the furniture.
The bathroom is spacious but there was only a bathtub available. I slept really well and there was not much noise from the highway, which can be bothersome at times as the windows are not fully insulated.
I really liked the location and that it is attached to a huge shopping mall. I loved their smart elevator system.

The hotel has grown from strength to strength, yet retains its original character and sentiment.
Experience life, both inside the hotel and out. Al Alamein Hotel sits along the peaceful beachfront of Egypt’s North Coast.
This is our second time at this hotel and it is exquisite just as the first time. Everything is perfect, from the rooms, amenities, the fresh smell anywhere you go, to the service! The service is what truly makes this place what it is. The staff is extremely polite, greeting you everywhere you go and trying to find ways to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. The food and service in the restaurant is outstanding, everyone is top notch especially Mahmoud and Abdel Gawad are sweet, welcoming and helpful.
The service on the beach is also excellent and in particular Taha. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable, happy and enjoying your time all day.
The child care center too is a fun lovely amenity for the kids, our 4 year old really enjoyed it. Well done on a beautiful hotel with beautiful amenities, and above all service service service.
I am a USA citizen that loves this Hotel and still thinks it’s one of the best in the world it is amazing as always. Beach is breathtaking, atmosphere is relaxing. Bayomy the person who is a reception team leader is a great, extremely professional employee. He always has this positive attitude that gives you a peace of mind.
He welcomes each and every guest with a positive vibe and he always makes things right when we have any type of concern. Honestly, I see him in a wonderful place in the future because his working skills are always phenomenal.
Al Alamein hotel is located in Sidi Abdel Rahman bay on the North Coast of Egypt and in my opinion this is the best beach in the world. White sandy beach, turquoise water, warm (we were swimming in November) and calm sea.
The reception is a piece of art showing black & white pictures of the golden era of Egyptian cinema actors and actresses. In addition to the nostalgic experience, I was fascinated by the attention to details… the whole setup is to boost your vacation mood: the fresh smell, accessories and pictures hanged on the walls, the staff friendliness, etc.
As November is considered a low season for the North Coast (Alamein) so the hotel was at 25% occupancy and we were immediately upgraded to a suite with beach access and a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean turquoise water blended with the white-gold sandy beach.
Rooms: 10/10 the suite has everything you need to be pampered… I loved the smell of L’Occitan amenities
Location:10/10 probably this is the best beach in the world
Internet: come on…are you planning to waste your time checking your mails???? That said, internet is free and fast.
Breakfast: 9/10 halal, generous and delicious variety of oriental and continental breakfast
Service: 9/10 the staff just want to make you happy and they are doing it in an amicable way
Value: 8/10 although being in the off-season but still the rooms were expensive. During summer, it is almost impossible to find vacancy.. you have to book a few months ahead
P.S I strongly recommend to have a massage by the Balinese massages… it is one of the best I have ever had.

It is simply breathtaking looking at the river Nile pour into the Mediterranean Sea. The property itself is very neat, nicely organized and they have great customer service.
Highly recommended for Ras El Bar and the hotel elevates the visit and stay there.
First of all, the locations is one of a kind. It is in El Lessan, the place were the sea and the nile river meet. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very nice, with beautiful pairings. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and the beds and cushions are very comfortable! The views are all amazing! The food is soo good and it is veryy diverse. You find in the breakfast buffet everything! From traditional foods like foul and falafel, to fetir and smoked salmon. The buffet is so fancy and very clean. I will attach some picture for reference.

This is a small locally run hotel. The owner Amir and his family are fantastic hosts -nothing was a problem for them. The location of this hotel is outstanding.

I came to Giza to see the Pyramids again (after many many years) and decided to take a chance on this small hotel – it’s not the fanciest one in the world, but what a gem and with amazing, lovely staff and a rooftop view that can’t be beat.
I spent four nights here and I think the food at the restaurant is just about the best in town – and the value here has to be literally one of the best in the world – highly recommend, and 100% pay the extra for the view room (It’s not that much).
